Jovan couldn't imagine the kind of pain Renee had gone through. She used an iron wire to cut the pulse on her wrist. He also couldn't imagine how badly she yearned to die.

"Renee, I've underestimated you!"

After calming himself down, Jovan staggered and searched for the key to unlock the chain around Renee's ankle. He couldn't stop himself from trembling.

Renee said that he would regret it, and he did. He regretted what he had done very much. If he knew she would be this desperate, he would never use this method to lock her up. If the price of getting her was to see her die, he would never have wanted her.

Endless thoughts messed with Jovan's mind. He couldn't think straight and just wanted her to be safe. He spent quite a long time to finally find the key. He trembled as he unlocked the chain around her ankles.

Renee finally regained freedom, but had lost consciousness...

He carried her in his arms and quickly got into the car. He stepped hard on the gas pedal and arrived at the hospital in lightning speed.

Renee's blood formed bloody lines on the road.

"Save her now!" Jovan became teary as he yelled at the nurse on duty at the emergency room. The nurse was shocked and did not dare to make any inquiry. She immediately arranged for an emergency room to rescue Renee.

Jovan stood in the corridor and was covered in blood. He looked haggard and dispirited.

She said to Cadmus and Tiger, who might start firing shots randomly at any time, "I believe Mr. Hunt isn't a militant guy. I'm sure there's a misunderstanding between both families. We don't have to fight each other. If you keep making a scene and kill somebody, this will get more troblesome."

"Who are you?" Cadmus looked at her impatiently and said arrogantly, "Stefan has to come to talk to us. We'll leave when he lets Mr. Baldwin go and gives us a satisfactory answer!"

"He won't easily meet people like you because you're violent and uncontrollable., As long as you leave, Mr. Baldwin will be set free," the woman said calmly.

She wasn't an ordinary employee. She was Nora Hunt, Stefan's aunt and Francine's older cousin.

Although she wasn't a part of Stefan's family, she was close to him. When Stefan was young,

he loved spending time with his awesome and cool aunt.

Nora was a workaholic and never got married. She helped Stefan gain a firm foothold in Hunt Enterprise. She was considered one of Stefan's few trustable confidants in Hunt Enterprise.

Initially, Stefan had wanted to confront Cadmus and Tiger, but Nora found it dangerous and took his place instead. Unfortunately, Cadmus and Tiger were unconvinced.
