The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage

Chapter 2683

Frank smiled and nodded. "I understand your concern, but the treasure is really all in this vial! I'm sure it was a trial that the prince put in place to confuse anyone seeking it."

The residents nodded-that was the best explanation any of them could come up

with anyway.

Then, Frank opened the cork on the vial.

Everyone stared at it in anticipation as it glowed, but nothing came out of it.

The residents were left perplexed. But knowing that Frank was not taking the treasure for himself, they said, "It was never ours to begin with, it seems!"

Frank smiled, shaking his head. "Patience. I haven't done anything yet!"noveldrama

From the moment he picked up the vial, Frank sensed that the spiritron carried the same energy as the spiritron vein, and that he could command it.

It also explained what made the spatial vial so mystical-not only was the maestro an amazing craftsman, but it also carried the power of the spiritron vein.

While Frank could not tell how the maestro came to know about the spiritron vein, he knew that much information as the owner of the spiritron vein.

And under Frank's control, objects began to shoot out of the vial-first gold and precious stones, followed by artifacts worth a king's ransom.

Paintings, golden masks, weapons... there was no end to it!

The residents were left trading glances.

They certainly know how valuable such items were... but to think that they were so valuable!

A rough estimate would put it around several billions!

There were just over a dozen families who had a claim to those treasures too, and

that would mean around a hundred million for each family.

Just its yearly interest alone would afford them a good life!

Jeeves laughed heartily, "Thank you so much for this, kiddo! Anyway, we have agreed that we should give you something even if you don't need the money. So here!"

As he passed Frank a couple paintings, Frank promptly shook his head. "Come

on, chief. Don't try to get me into jail! This stuff isn't for sale!"

Jeeves laughed. "But didn't you say that trade is allowed as long as we can explain where we acquired it?"

"You got me. I was just kidding." Frank nodded. "However, my suggestion is to not sell it. It would be terrible if it fell into foreign hands."

"What?!"

The residents were left trading glances. "So, what... Are we supposed to store it for the rest of our lives?"

The only idea they had was to sell the treasures and live the good life, so this really did not cross their mind.

Naturally, none of them would want such treasures to fall into the wrong hands either, but they wanted money as well and were therefore in a dilemma.

Still, Frank shrugged. "Don't worry. You can't trade it to private sellers or to other traders, but you can sell it to the government.

"Don't worry—they're not going to whisk everything away from you. They would purchase everything according to the current market value!

"Sure, a single museum isn't able to fork out so much capital, but there are plenty of museums out there. In fact, county-level museums would really love to have these.

"Even if it's not sold wholesale, the split of the profits should last you long enough

until they acquire new capital."

Everyone sighed in relief at Sylvie's words, whom they were paying close

attention to after finding out that Frank was not after wealth.

Jeeves strode up to her, asking, "Why don't you pick one item too, girlie? Just

choose anything you like we're not going to stop you!"

Sylvie turned toward the other residents, who nodded as well.

After all, the residents had so much treasure that a couple of items were really no loss. Moreover, Sylvie did not appear to be greedy either, and the residents were all too happy to return Frank's favor.

Sylvie then turned toward Frank, who nodded quietly.
