Chapter 912
Second uncle?
Tania paused, a memory surfacing. The Naylor family did have a girl who vanished at a young age. Could she be Kastor Naylor's daughter?
However, Tania was not all that familiar with the Hoffman or Naylor families. Plus, Nancy had a major fallout with the Naylors when she married Henry, so even after Tania came back to the Hoffmans, she only got to know them a little. As for the Naylors, it seemed Henry and Nancy preferred to keep that chapter closed.
"Come on, let's head down for dinner!"
Charles led Tania and a sleepy Brandon down the stairs, where Noelle was already rounding everyone up for the meal. Spotting Charles and Tania, she asked, "Where's Mr. Smith?"
"He got called back for surgery at the hospital," Charles answered, placing Brandon next to Peter before taking his own seat. Brandon, now wide awake, looked up at Peter and declared, "Uncle Peter, I wanna eat!"
"Sure thing, buddy!" Peter chuckled, grabbing a small bowl and making sure Brandon was all set.
Tania walked in just in time to see Peter gently settling Brandon into his chair. She paused, a twinge of unease passing through her as she watched them interact so effortlessly.
"Tania, why are you just standing there? Come sit!" Noelle, having set the table, noticed Tania's hesitation and waved her over. "Sit here, next to Peter!"
Tania's brow creased. "It's okay, I'll sit on this side."
"Mama, sit here!" Brandon gestured to the spot next to Peter. "Mama, you can feed me!"

All eyes were on Tania, and with a sense of resignation, she took the seat beside Peter, though she clearly did not want to.
Noelle glanced around the table, making sure everyone had found their seats, and then announced with a smile, "Dig in, everyone. Tania and I picked out the freshest ingredients for this."
"I want some!" Brandon chimed in, unable to contain his excitement.
"Of course, Brandon." Noelle

chuckled her heart melting at his cuteness as she playfully squeezed his cheek. "You're the man of the hour, aren't you?"
Brandon beamed. "Uncle Peter gets some too!"
Noelle arched an eyebrow and turned to Peter. "That's right. Uncle Peter's included!"
Tania, looking a bit awkward, just nodded and focused on feeding Brandon with his little plate and spoon.

carne and Brandon was not a fan of spicy food, his portion was made mild and separately, all thanks to Noelle's thoughtful touch. Tania could not help but think how lucky Charles was to have married such considerate and talented woman.
As Tania spoon-fed Brandon, Peter kept adding more food to Tania's plate, despite her protests. Eventually, she stopped objecting and let him be.
The thing with Peter was that the more she engaged with him, the more he basked in the attention.
However, Tania had yet to learn the full extent of Peter's impudence. Ignoring him did not mean he would stop his antics.
Everyone seemed to enjoy the meal, but beneath the surface, each person was lost in their own world.
After their meal, Tania strolled through the garden, cradling Brandon, while Peter lingered in the living room before finally stepping outside.
Tania felt trouble brewing the instant she saw Peter. She turned to face him, her face darkening. "Why are you still here?"
"Are you that eager to see me go?" Peter narrowed his eyes, a hint of challenge in his voice. "This is Charles's place, and he hasn't kicked me out. Seems to me you're not the one calling the shots here!
Tania was seething, words failing her in her anger. "If you won't leave, then I will!"
What do you think?
