Elijah rejoined his roommates. His roommates were just as nosy, immediately asking how his confession went.

With a calm look, Elijah said, "Nothing came of it."

Tyler looked puzzled. "Nothing? So what does that mean? Did she say yes or no?"

Elijah replied, "She didn't say yes, but she didn't say no either."

"Is she keeping you on the hook?" Tyler frowned.

Calder rolled his eyes. "Come on, Tyler, don't be ridiculous. Cam's not that kind of girl."

Tyler huffed, "Then why didn't she just give him an answer?"

Elijah replied, "I didn't want to put any pressure on her."

Tyler was stunned for a moment. The three of them stared at Elijah, completely confused.

"If you didn't want an answer, then why bother confessing at all?" Tyler asked, still baffled.

Elijah didn't bother explaining. He just said, “It's getting late. Let's head back to the tents and get some rest."

Confessing was never about getting an answer he just wanted Cameron to know how he felt. As for her response, he was in no rush; she could take all
