Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 1390

Louise's face turned ghostly pale, her eyes wide with fear. Her hands shook as she gripped her phone, the screen glaring back at her with every message she supposedly sent. The account painted her as someone unhinged, one moment singing Fiona's praises, the next

flinging the worst kinds of insults.

"Louise: What a sly little fox, learning to seduce others so young-her private life must be a mess."

"Louise: Maybe she's innocent. Let's not jump to conclusions."

"Louise: Do you even know? Her actions are all anyone talks about around here. Don't let her fool you."

"Louise: As long as Fiona's here, our school won't know peace."

There were dozens of messages like these, some peppered with obscenities. The online crowd was floored.

"Whoa, is Louise losing it? She's all over the place. Does she have issues?"

"Does she even know what she's posting? I'm at a loss."

"Is she just jealous because Fiona's pretty and stole the spotlight? Is Louise trying to frame her?"

"The drama's real; even 'goddess' Louise has a mean streak!"

With each comment Louise read, her face grew paler. She looked up in a panic, catching the bewildered eyes of her classmates in room five.

"This is some setup! I didn't post any of this!" she insisted, tossing her phone onto the table and scanning her peers for support.

A girl, caught between disbelief and loyalty, glanced at Louise. The girl's mind raced, considering Louise's social standing and her family's clout, and she hesitantly came to her defense.

"Nervous chuckle," she said, "Maybe her account got hacked. We shouldn't jump to conclusions until we know more."

Her voice wavered as she fidgeted, nudging Louise to say something. Louise quickly tried to regain her composure, forcing a shaky smile.

"Why would I do something like this? You have to believe me," she pleaded.

The room buzzed with skepticism, the doubt almost palpable. After all, the account was Louise's-if not her, then who?

"I don't think it was Louise. Maybe her account really was hacked."

"Yeah, we know Louise. She wouldn't frame someone new."

"Someone's definitely setting Louise up! I've never trusted that transfer student!"

Louise had always maintained such. a pristine reputation that, even now, some were inclined to believe her innocence. Seeing their support, she finally relaxed a bit.

"Thanks for believing in me, but it truly wasn't me..." she reiterated, and the crowd's sympathy grew.
