Alpha Twins And Their Hybrid Mate

Chapter 72

Celie made sure that I knew this wasn't my fault. And that I should be proud of myself because of what has been accomplished here.

I was proud of the progress that they made. I just wasn't sure if I wanted to see what happened to those wolves or if I would have been happier not knowing. Anyway, Celie told me that this was an exceptional contribution to the whole pack. To both packs.

I was happy to hear that. Beyond happy to hear that. At least it was working now.

"Celie, do you have any idea what future possibilities you could do with my blood?" I asked.

"I have been giving it some thought. It seems to be much stronger than we ever imagined." She said.

"I can give more blood samples while I'm here. If you need more. I mean, if it could maybe help those wolves downstairs then I will definitely be willing to give some more." I said.

I saw the twins give each other strange looks before looking back at us. They seemed a little concerned about something and they saw me looking at them.

"What about you? We're worried about your health and well-being. We don't want you giving too much of your blood away. You need it just as much as everyone else does." Tristan said.

"I know that. And Celie isn't going to take all of it. Just enough so that she can keep testing and creating serums to help our pack. This isn't all going to Dean's pack. I'm going to make sure of that." I said.

"Of course not. It will be shared with the Blackwood pack as well." Celie assured us.

"I am going to do this. You can't stop me. I trust Celie like she was my mother. I trust her more than my actual mother. It'll be alright." I told them.

They were hesitant but they agreed. And said that they were staying with me at all times just to make sure.

It wasn't that they didn't trust Celie. It's just that they wanted to make sure that I was safe and I was alright with everything.

We went to a private room and Celie left to go and get the equipment that she needed.

"Guys. I'm going to be Luna of your pack. I am not going to allow any member of that pack to lose their chance to survive." I said.

"You've only just become a member of this pack and you haven't even been marked yet. And you're already caring for the pack as if you've known them your whole life." Nathan said, shaking his head.

"Why is that a bad thing?" I asked.

"It's not. You're just more incredible than I thought." He said, walking towards me and standing between my legs so he could kiss me.

"You guys are my family now. You already know that. I won't do anything to hurt your pack. And I won't do anything to lose you guys. I don't know what I would do if I lost you." I said, looking away. But Nathan used his thumb and forefinger to grab my chin and make me look at them again.

He leaned down and kissed me again. A lot longer this time.

"And losing you would kill both of us as well." He said.

When Celie came back she was a little unnerved by the twins because of how they reacted the last time she was in Alaska and needed blood samples.

But I laid my arm out and she did what she had to do while I was sitting there thinking about a few different things.

"Tristan's been teaching me all about werewolf history. He started doing that before I shifted. And Nathan was teaching me how to fight. So, I've been thinking a lot about the curse that was placed on both of the packs." I said.

"Yeah. What have you been thinking about?" Celie asked.

"I've decided that I don't want to just be able to control it like this. I want to break it. Completely. I mean, what you're doing is great and it buys us a lot more time. But I need to break the curse completely because it will still affect future generations that won't have this serum to fall back on. What if something happens to the serum? What if it stops working?" I asked. And Celie looked at me in a strange way. I could see that she was impressed but also a bit concerned.

She's never really seen me like this before. And the twins I could see were also a little taken aback by this.

This was the responsibility that the Moon Goddess had bestowed on me and I knew that it was my responsibility to see it through. Not just come up with a temporary fix. It wasn't something that we could just deal with now and forget about and let other generations after us try and deal with it and never find their true mates.

"How were we so lucky to get you as a mate?" Tristan asked, leaning over and kissing the side of my face.

"You'll have to ask the Goddess that question." I said.

Celie knew that I was more than willing to do whatever I had to to help both packs. They didn't deserve to live for eternity with this curse lingering over them. They deserved to have a happy ever ending. And that included our kids.

If and when we ever have kids. I'm not thinking that far ahead yet. But they are the ones that will have to deal with this when we're gone.

Celie just gave me her sweet smile, like she wasn't surprised at all that I was willing to do this. She knew what sort of person I was.noveldrama

She knew me before the twins did and she was the one that helped me through every obstacle that I had. Especially the ones with Marilyn and Jack. But now, she knew that I was able to face anything that came my way.

She told me that I was the strongest person she had ever met. I didn't believe her of course. I always thought of myself as weak, so I knew that I wasn't that strong. But she refused to let me think down on myself. I'd always done that and it was time for me to stop.

"How do you plan on doing it?" Sara asked.

"I don't know. That's what I need to figure out." I said.

"Well, I might be able to help you there." She said. And I cocked my head as I

looked at her.
