WARMING THE BILLIONAIRE COLD HEART

MINE

After returning from London, Kimberly and Nicholas were busy with various wedding preparations. From fitting wedding attire to pre-wedding photos, everything had to be done quickly due to their limited time. Cassandra and Arthur didn’t hold back; they even chose BVLGARI RESORT BALI as the venue for the celebration.

BVLGARI is a luxurious five-star resort perched on a cliff overlooking the Indian Ocean. Its location is not far from Pura Luhur Uluwatu and the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park.

Embracing a beachfront wedding theme, all preparations had reached 95%. Nicholas and Kimberly couldn’t believe how meticulously and perfectly Cassandra had arranged everything. She even hired a top-tier wedding organizer like ‘Belvedere’ to handle Nicholas and Kimberly’s wedding.

“Mama is truly amazing,” Nicholas said proudly. He was amazed by what his mother had done.

Cassandra clasped her hands to her chest, a smile on her lips as she heard her son’s praise.

“I’ll do anything for you, my dear. Everything’s the best for you and Kimberly.”

Nicholas leaned in and hugged Cassandra tightly. “I love you, Mom. You’re the best woman I have.”

Cassandra returned Nicholas’s hug just as tightly. Perhaps this was the last time she could embrace him freely, as tomorrow, he would become someone else’s husband.

“You’re also the best child I have. I pray your wedding goes smoothly, and you both live happily ever after, even until you become grandparents.”

In a different place.

Kimberly was sitting on the hotel room balcony, enjoying the sunset with Arthur Rayder. They had been talking for a while, from light topics to serious ones. It seemed that Arthur was taking this moment to reflect before his granddaughter became another man’s.

“Grandpa, I can’t believe we’ve reached the point where I’m being proposed to by another man. It feels like just yesterday I was born, and now I’m getting ready to be someone else’s wife.” Arthur smiled while gazing out at the vast expanse of the sea along the coastline.

Kimberly turned to look at Arthur. The old man appeared serene.

“Kimmy didn’t even think she would be at this point, where Grandpa finally approves of Kimmy and Nicholas’s relationship.”

Arthur turned his face toward Kimberly. He then smiled warmly and gently patted his granddaughter’s head.

“Kimmy, in this world, you’re the only one Grandpa has. Grandpa acted tough because he didn’t want you to get hurt, let alone by someone else. That’s why Grandpa couldn’t just let you go easily.”

“But Nicholas has proven everything, Grandpa. So please don’t hesitate anymore. Kimmy is sure she can be happy living with him.”

Arthur nodded in agreement. After everything Nicholas had done, he should now feel relieved and start letting Kimberly go.

“Even though Grandpa finds it hard, for your happiness, Grandpa will let that cheeky kid have you.”

Kimberly laughed.

“Grandpa… his name is Nicholas Junior Alistair, not a cheeky kid as you often call him,” Kimberly protested.

Arthur shrugged his shoulders indifferently. “It’s up to you; I prefer calling him that way. Besides, his behavior is indeed childish. Quite troublesome.”

“But I love him very much,” Kimberly countered, not wanting to back down.

Arthur got up from his seat, preparing to go inside. “When someone is in love, they can be blind and irrational. Let’s end this conversation. It’s getting late, and you should rest. Remember, you’ll be getting married tomorrow.”

Kimberly nodded and then stood up, walking inside together with Arthur.

Keyra had lost count of how many times she had praised Kimberly. Her friend looked truly elegant in her off-shoulder white gown. Her brown hair was styled in a way that made her look perfect on this historic day.

“Kimmy, you truly look like a fairy tale princess,” Keyra endlessly complimented.

Kimberly chuckled at her friend’s words. “You’re exaggerating. I feel like my appearance is just ordinary. I even asked the makeup artist not to make my makeup too conspicuous. I wanted to have a natural look today.”

“Nevertheless, you look so beautiful. And you know what?”

“What?” Kimberly asked, puzzled.

“I never thought you’d actually become Mrs. Alistair in a few minutes. You surely remember our silly bet a few months ago. In the end, you won, Kimberly. You even won Nicholas’s heart.” Keyra spoke with admiration. She never expected her friend to marry the CEO of their company.

With a smile, Kimberly replied, “I believe this is destiny that God has prepared for me. You know yourself that our love journey wasn’t smooth. We even doubted each other. But who would have thought that we could reunite because of Grandpa and Nicholas’s parents.”

Keyra laughed upon hearing Kimberly’s words. “I’m so happy that you can be together with the man you love. I even hope you two stay together until old age. Don’t forget to give me lots of nieces and nephews.”

For some reason, after hearing that sentence, Kimberly’s face suddenly turned melancholic. She was reminded of the issue of offspring. The thought of disappointing Nicholas by not being able to give him children crossed her mind.

Keyra, realizing her mistake, immediately pulled Kimberly close and hugged her. “I’m sorry; I didn’t mean to upset you. I’m sure you and Nicholas will have many cute children. So, don’t ever be sad, Kimmy.”

Kimberly pulled away and smiled. She believed that what Keyra said was true. She shouldn’t be sad. She should have faith that she would eventually be able to give Nicholas many children.

As the two of them were still engrossed in their conversation, Mario and Arthur entered Kimberly’s room, informing them to come downstairs for the wedding party, which was about to begin.

Arthur took Kimberly’s hand and led her downstairs to the venue, filled with wedding guests.

Meanwhile, Nicholas, who had been waiting at the venue for some time, couldn’t hide his nervousness. He still couldn’t believe that in a few minutes, he would officially become Kimberly’s husband, the woman he had once vehemently rejected, the woman he had always said was not his type. Who would have thought she would become his future wife?

If only Edward hadn’t bothered and teased him so often, maybe Nicholas would have never realized how much he loved Kimberly. So, should he be thankful to him now? While the man stood not far from him, Edward noticed Nicholas’s silent gaze and immediately addressed him.Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.

“Why are you staring at me like that? I know you’re feeling insecure because of my good looks.”

Nicholas made a disgusted expression after hearing Edward’s words. “You’re exaggerating. I’m just wondering why you always disrupt my life.”

Feeling offended, Edward moved closer, narrowing the distance between them. “In case you’ve forgotten, I’m the one who has done the most for you in your life. If I weren’t around, you might have committed suicide due to a broken heart. You should also remember that I was the one you confided in when you were going through all those problems in the past. You’re ungrateful!”

Not pleased with Edward’s words, Nicholas lightly punched his friend’s shoulder. “You talk too much, Ed. But because I’m happy today, I’ll thank you. Sometimes, you can be reliable.”

“Not sometimes, but always reliable. Remember that!” Edward protested.

While they were engrossed in their argument, suddenly, all the guests rose from their seats to welcome Kimberly and Arthur. Nicholas, realizing it, turned his gaze. He looked in awe at his future wife, who was walking slowly but confidently towards him.

“You look stunning, Kimmy. Truly beautiful today,” Nicholas whispered as Kimberly stood perfectly beside him.

When the two of them stood side by side, the MC began to open the event. From the speeches to the prayer and the main ceremony, everything proceeded solemnly. Finally, Kimberly and Nicholas were officially declared husband and wife. Cheers and applause resounded throughout.

“Congratulations, you two are now officially husband and wife.” Cassandra couldn’t hide her joy and emotion as she hugged Nicholas and Kimberly one after the other.

Arthur, too, for the first time, shed tears after giving Kimberly away to Nicholas.

“Please take care of my beloved granddaughter. If you ever dare to hurt her, I won’t hesitate to kill you!” Arthur threatened. He managed to issue such a warning even on this joyous day. However, Nicholas responded with laughter.

“Can I start calling you ‘Opa’ from now on?” Nicholas asked amid his laughter.

Arthur didn’t answer immediately; he seemed to be thinking. Until Kimberly prompted him.

“Come on, Opa, how long will Nicholas address you as ‘tuan’?” Kimberly pleaded.

Arthur sighed lazily and then replied, “Alright, because my granddaughter insists, from now on, you can call me Opa.”

Everyone laughed upon hearing Arthur Rayder’s words.

Kimberly chose to enter the room first to rest, while Nicholas continued chatting with Edward, Kenzi, and Kiano outside. Feeling a bit uncomfortable, Kimberly decided to freshen up.

She spent quite some time in the bathroom. And when she came out, she was surprised to find Nicholas standing right in front of the bathroom door.

“Oh my, you startled me,” Kimberly said.

Nicholas rolled his eyes from his position. “Do I look like a ghost that you got so startled?”

Seeing Nicholas’s annoyed expression, Kimberly couldn’t help but chuckle softly. “There’s no ghost in this world as handsome as you, darling.”

“You’re such a flirt!” Nicholas retorted, making Kimberly laugh even harder.

“You should go shower and freshen up, Nick. After that, we can rest.” This time, Nicholas complied and immediately did what Kimberly instructed.

After finishing freshening up, Nicholas found Kimberly sitting on the bed, massaging her feet. He was sure that his newlywed wife must be tired now. Standing for hours during the party and greeting so many guests could make the body feel exhausted. Nicholas felt the same way.

Feeling sorry for her, Nicholas walked over and sat down on one side of the bed.

“Can I help?” Without waiting for Kimberly’s response, Nicholas reached out and gently massaged Kimberly’s feet.

“Thank you,” Kimberly said sincerely.

“Why thank me? It’s only right for a husband to take care of his wife,” Nicholas replied without shifting his gaze. He continued massaging Kimberly’s feet.

“I’m thankful because you agreed to be my husband. Didn’t I used to not be your ideal type?” Kimberly pouted.

Nicholas raised his head and laughed upon hearing Kimberly’s words. “Actually, I lied when I said that. Besides, which sane man wouldn’t be attracted to such a beautiful woman as you?”

“So, you’ve been lying all this time?” Kimberly pouted her lips.

Nicholas nodded. “Forgive me. I was too proud to admit it back then. But now, I’ll never get tired of admitting that you’re the only woman I adore.”

“I feel the same way. I’ll never get tired of proclaiming to the world that you’re the only man I love.”

Without warning, Nicholas pulled Kimberly closer until their bodies pressed tightly together. Then, he landed his lips on Kimberly’s soft lips.

Nicholas’s lips relentlessly pressed against Kimberly’s, demanding and passionate. He kissed her fervently, even devouring her until Kimberly felt overwhelmed. But Nicholas didn’t stop; he deepened their kiss, his hand reaching to pull her neck closer.

Unable to resist any longer, Nicholas gently pushed Kimberly’s body until she lay down. He then moved his lips to kiss and suck the skin along Kimberly’s slender neck. Meanwhile, his hands began to explore every curve of the woman who had just become his wife.

Facing Nicholas’s increasingly heated advances, Kimberly could do nothing but close her eyes, occasionally letting out soft moans. She tried to respond and enjoy every touch given by her husband.

Nicholas’s hands continued to explore and eventually stopped at Kimberly’s thighs. He caressed them gently and lightly, gradually increasing the intensity, causing Kimberly to feel strange sensations.

“Nick…”

Nicholas’s eyes locked onto Kimberly’s hazy gaze, filled with uncontrollable desire.

“This is what you’ve wanted all along, right?” Nicholas whispered with a heavy voice, while Kimberly’s face turned red with embarrassment. She had always been the one teasing Nicholas to make love to her.

“After this, you’ll be completely mine, Kimberly Alistair,” Nicholas said again.

Then, Nicholas once again fervently kissed Kimberly’s lips, nibbling gently on her lower lip, causing the woman to moan in pleasure. Kimberly’s face turned red as she savored the continuous kisses.

Until the moment of union arrived, Kimberly surrendered once more, willingly following every move Nicholas made. She allowed him complete control over her, letting him do whatever he desired, as they both immersed themselves in the wave of passion they had held back for so long.
