Uncle's Love: My Sweet Little Wife

Chapter 213 Do You Have a Stomachache?

Chapter 213 Do You Have a Stomachache?

The woman in the black dress glanced at her contemptuously.

"You are very proud to be Mr. James' fiancée."

"She is run-of-the-mill. I heard that her parents had passed away. She killed Kara and became James'

fiancée. What is there to be proud of?" The woman in red sneered.

"Hey, it's obvious that she's a scheming girl. She can win Mr. James' favor because she is good at

either acting or making love." The woman in black became angrier.

Kara finally understood. They were here to pick a fight because they were jealous of her.

"Thank you for your praise. I may be good at nothing but shamelessness," she said with a chuckle.

"You, what a nerve!"

They were surprised that Kara would directly agree with her.

"So, have a good time."

When she first met James, she was almost beaten to death by her relatives. Saving face was

completely useless at that time.

"Hey, you really make me unhappy!" The woman in black was provoked and reached out to block

Kara's way.

'This woman proudly said that she got Mr. James because she was thick-skinned. How shameless!'

Kara felt baffled. She was not in the wrong. Why did they always want to pick a quarrel? What was she

supposed to do?

"Sorry, I made you angry," Kara said calmly, unwilling to argue with them, "But I have to go back.

Please step aside!"

"What if I refuse? Well, how can you hit us?"

Kara twitched her mouth and said, "Get out of my way!"

"How dare you? Are you insane?"

The woman in black glared at Kara fiercely. If she wasn't stopped by her friend, she would have rushed

up to hit Kara.

Seeing this, Kara took a few steps back, feeling helpless.

'Why did all the young ladies of noble families like to prick her?'

"Women at the bottom of the heap are shameless. If you argue with her, you will lower yourself. She is

just Mr. James' fiancée. It is hard to say whether she can marry Mr. James!"

The woman in the red evening dress glanced at Kara with disdain.

"You're so arrogant at such a young age. Mr. James is just playing around."

In a distinguished family, they couldn't decide who they would marry.

The woman in front of them did not have any background, of no help to James at all. There were so

many girls from good families wanting to marry him. He was not a fool. How could he choose such a

woman as his wife?

Kara raised her eyebrows. 'Who was the arrogant one now?'

This time, she saw what was called blaming other's victims.

"You're right. Mr. James and I were just playing around. Now, can you move aside?"

Kara thought that James brought her here and wanted her to enjoy herself. But now, she felt that this

large banquet was not fun at all.

Jenny, who was standing outside the bathroom, heard what Kara said. She gave a brittle laugh and

turned away.

In the bathroom, looking at Kara's unique dress, which was released on last week's Fashion Week, the

woman in the black dress and her friend were in mad jealousy.

They looked at each other, took out their lipstick, and passed Kara.

Kara was about to leave when she was suddenly bumped, making her take a few steps back.

"Why do you reveal that expression? Others will misunderstand that we have picked on you!" The

woman in black left the bathroom with a smirk.

The woman in the red dress put lipstick on her gorgeous lips. She glanced at Kara contemptuously and

left in her high heels.

She acted as if she had gotten a triumph over Kara.

Kara was speechless.

'Is it amazing to have an expensive lipstick?'

When she walked out of the bathroom, she found that everyone was staring at her. Kara checked on

herself doubtfully. There was nothing strange.

When she walked to James' side, she frowned slightly when she saw Jenny looking down and

sneering.

"James, is there anything strange?"

James swept his gaze over her body and found a red mark on the back of her gown. Property of Nô)(velDr(a)ma.Org.

James thought that she was in period.

"Do you have a stomachache?"

"No."

Kara touched her stomach, wondering why he asked her this.

Seeing that James was staring at the back of her gown, she was shocked. 'Damn, am I on period?'

But she didn't notice it when she was in the bathroom.

Seeing Kara's surprise, James came up to her and smelled not blood but a fragrance.

He was very unfamiliar with this fragrance and guessed that someone must be pulling a prank,

deliberately staining her dress.

"Don't worry. Mrs. Hemming, if you don't mind, I'll take you upstairs to change." Edith quickly came over

and tried to cotton to Kara.

Kara looked at James awkwardly. James pinched his hand to reassure her.

After getting his approval, Kara embarrassedly stood up and followed Edith upstairs.

But to James' surprise, under his nose, Kara disappeared!

After Kara went upstairs, Edith found her a light brown dress that made her more outstanding.

"Mrs. Hemming, this dress was originally prepared for my little sister. Today, she did not come back. It

really fits you."

Hearing Edith mentioning Hannah, Kara lowered her head and pretended to know everything.

This dress was suitable for a young girl, embedded with pearls. Obviously, it was very expensive.

However, Hannah was a little plumper than Kara, so the dress was a little big on Kara. So Edith found a

belt for Kara.

"Mrs. Hemming, I think you are lucky to be with Mr. James." Edith smiled warmly and seemed to want

to have a topic with Kara.

However, Kara didn't like Hannah, so she was a bit distant from Edith. She only had a faint smile on her

delicate and white face. No matter what topic Edith was talking about, Kara just smiled and nodded.

"Thank you for your praise, Mrs. Marshall."

Kara's stubbornness really made Edith angry, but she still could do nothing.

Suddenly a servant knocked on the door and came in, saying that James was looking for Kara. So

Edith had to let Kara go.

"Take Mrs. Hemming downstairs."

The servant nodded and opened the door for Kara.

When Kara heard that James was looking for her, she also felt a little anxious in her heart.

"Hey. We meet again."

Kara had just walked out of the room when she met Boa. She was a little surprised.

"Go and tidy up my room first. I have something to say to Mrs. Hemming," Boa said. The servant

nodded and left.

Hearing that she had something to say, Kara squatted down and looked her in the eye, "Boa, what do

you want to say to me?"

Although Kara did not like the Marshalls' style, she couldn't refuse children.

"My mother hasn't come home yet. She hasn't taken me to play." Boa lowered her head pitifully and

twisted her fingers, showing that she was struggling.

Kara was stunned. She guessed that Anna was still in custody.

"Sorry, Boa, if it's about your mother, I am powerless."

Boa pitifully stared at her. Kara was afraid that she would be soft-hearted again. She took a deep

breath and suppressed the sympathy in her heart.

"Boa, is there anything else?"

"That's all."

Boa replied, but on second thoughts, she shook her head and grabbed Kara's hand.

"Yes."

For fear of rejection, Boa said, her voice trembling,

"I had played with a ball, but I lost it. I have been looking for it for a long time. Can you help me?"

Kara hesitated. James was waiting for her, but looking at the little girl's pleading eyes, she could not

refuse her.
