The Lady Nun Vows Revenge

The Silent 702

Sophie stared blankly at her severed arm, at the blood gushing out like a fountain. She was completely falling apart.

Ever since her resurrection, she had prepared countless schemes and hidden cards for revenge, to wash away her past humiliation, But in the end, she' still couldn't defeat Eliza,

Clutching her wound, Sophie let out a crazed mix of sobs and laughter. "My mother couldn't beat yours, and now I still can't beat you. The Padilla family... you really are impressive. What brilliant tricks!"

Eliza simply watched her go mad with an expressionless face. But it was precisely that cold indifference that enraged Sophie.

"Eliza! What are you so proud of?"

Sophie screamed at her, unwilling to accept the truth. "Your mother stole the position of Duchess of Mowbay from my mother, and you stole the rightful title of the Duke of Mowbay's legitimate daughter! Everything you two have was stolen! You have no right to be proud! No right!"

Eliza replied coldly, "Whether I have the right is not for you to decide."

She added, "And open your eyes. I've long since ceased to be the legitimate daughter of the Duke's estate. As for why you couldn't be, you know the answer better than anyone. Still playing dumb? Do you think that'll make me let you go?"

Unfortunately for Sophie, Eliza had a heart of stone.

She ordered, "Kill."

With one command, Rafe and Renee resumed their attacks without a shred of mercy.

"I won't die! I won't die!" Sophie screamed hysterically, "You're the ones who deserve to die!"

Sophie threw out her final three Thunderclap Bombs.

Two were aimed at Rafe and Renee. She did not throw the last one at Tina, but hurled it straight at Eliza.

"My Lady!" Tina cried out in alarm.

Just as she expected, Tina did not strike her directly but instead turned and lunged toward Eliza to protect her.

But Eliza suddenly shouted, "Don't worry about me! Kill her!"

One Thunderclap Bomb wouldn't be enough to kill her.

Her expression shifted. With a sudden flick of her wrist, she pulled a flying needle from her sleeve.

Unlike Rafe's large, thumb-thick flying needles that could pierce through bodies, Eliza's was finer than a strand of hair. It was almost invisible.

The needle flashed briefly in the air, then pierced the bomb mid-flight.

As expected, the Thunderclap Bomb exploded the moment it was struck.

It detonated 15 feet away from Eliza, sending debris and dust flying past her harmlessly.

Sophie saw this and knew she had finally run out of options.

She had come so far, and still couldn't take Eliza down with her.

Her expression turned to pure despair.

In the next instant, countless blades and swords rained down upon her like a storm.

The entire courtyard was blasted into rubble, thick dust billowing everywhere. Not a single sign of life could be seen.noveldrama

Only then did Rafe and Renee 3top their assault.

Tina landed beside Eliza after delivering three final sword strikes just to be sure.

“Is... is she dead?" Adeline peeked out from behind Dale, her curiosity overcoming her fear. She asked in a cautious whisper. But no one answered.

Adeline peeked out from behind Dale, her curiosity overcoming her fear. She asked in a cautious whisper. But no one answered.

They all stared in silence at the ruins.

Dale furrowed his brows. "Maybe... but not necessarily."

Everyone who knew what was at stake understood why he said that.

When the dust finally settled, amid the wreckage, Sophie lay on the ground, eyes wide open, staring at the sky in bitter disbelief.

Her body was torn to shreds. There was blood everywhere. Other than the arm Tina had severed earlier, all that remained now was her upper torso.

The rest had become scattered chunks of bloody flesh.

"She's really dead! She's really, truly dead!" Adeline almost jumped for joy. Finally, Sophie was gone.

Adeline thought she would never again have to worry about that wicked girl coming back for revenge.

But in stark contrast to her excitement, the others were silent.

Rafe stepped forward and poked Sophie's remains with one of his needles.

Then, narrowing his eyes, he suddenly stabbed straight through her skull.

Only after confirming there was no reaction at all did he turn to Eliza and say, "She's dead."

Hearing his confirmation, Eliza felt as if it couldn't be real. 'Is this really happening?' she wondered.

She hated Sophie. The last time Sophie died and returned, she orchestrated everything.

But this time, she had no plans, no schemes. She had a single goal, to kill Sophie.

Because between them, there could only ever be one outcome. Only one would live.

And now, Sophie was dead. Eliza almost found the feeling unbelievable. Absurd, even.

She stepped forward, and only after confirming with her own eyes that Sophie had completely perished. She let out a long breath, knowing that even resurrection was impossible.

'Two down... Eliza thought, her hands trembling as the realization hit her.

Eliza closed her eyes, tightly clenching her trembling hands as she whispered in her heart.

But just then, a voice rang out from the gate/ "I hope I'm not too late?"

Standing in the ruined courtyard gate was a figure dressed in magnificent robes.
