The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage

Chapter 2753

"H-How did you do that?!"

While the cabal was left flabbergasted, the hag was much calmer for some

reason.

After all, her father had told her about an uncle of hers, who had left the family because they kept abusing their earthbending ability.

It was rumored that the uncle eventually cultivated a superior ability, fusing things that would otherwise not be just like what Frank just did.

As such, she told her cabal as much, but Frank shook his head. "I learned your technique by directly observing you when you used it. And by doing so, I found a fatal flaw, which I adjusted for."

He certainly did not have anything to do with the hag's uncle-he was just that quick a learner and that gifted to wield earthbending in an instant.noveldrama

Naturally, the hag was not about to believe that.

No matter how gifted a person could be, there was no way anyone could learn earthbending instantly and even perfect it. In the end, someone must have taught

him!

As such, she was starting to get impatient with Frank's constant showing off. "Tell me, what would I have to do to reach your mentor?"

If they had an issue with their cabal, they just had to sit down and talk things out. Why go this far?

"Who are you talking about?"

On the other hand, Frank was utterly confused.

He was here for revenge, and the only reason for that was because of that geezer.

And he was positive that the hag knew where the geezer was, so why the delay?

"My uncle, of course," the hag said. "The one who taught you earthbending!"

Frank was utterly exasperated. "You're imagining things, lady. I learned it myself!"

However, if the hag would believe him, she would not have acted like she knew everything. "In that case what you did was an insult to us all. We spent years learning and е practicing earthbending, but you're saying it's as easy as snapping your fingers?"

Her words were filled with clear hostility toward Frank, as she was convinced that people like him did not deserve her family's technique.

Frank sighed and scoffed in annoyance. "Well, I guess I have plenty of ways to convince you otherwise."

He beckoned, and the hag found herself floating toward Frank uncontrollably. However, that only further affirmed the hag's theory that Frank was sent by her uncle, and she sighed in relief.

Even if there was animosity, her uncle's feud was definitely against her father's generation, not someone he had never even faced before.

Frank then took to the skies as well, but the cabal stopped him before he could leave, assuming a combat stance and clearly ready to die. "Where do you think you're taking our lady?!"

However, the hag knew very well that they could not stop Frank and would in fact die right there if they insisted on stopping him.

Hence, she decided to sacrifice

herself and said coolly, "This is my business-a daughter is obliged to pay her father's debts. Don't worry, and stay out of it. I'll talk to my uncle myself."

No one stopped Frank at that point, clearing a path as they considered the hag's words.

They might all live in the same village, so even if they were not aware of the family feud in the distant past, they would understand once they asked around.

Hence, they all decided among themselves that they will find the hag's uncle if the hag never returned.

Even if they probably would not stand a chance, considering their display of power, the hag's uncle abilities would definitely diminish. And being young and energetic, they would definitely stand a chance.

Meanwhile, Frank took the hag to the geezer.
