While Rina could see Hana's point, she still did not believe Arya would go that far.

"It's alright. We're not that sleepy-we could just wait here," Frank said just then.

Rina did not refuse just because Frank asked, perhaps because she wanted some form of shelter.

She was tired and wanted protection, and no one was more suited for the job than Frank.

Five minutes later, Arya called out from behind the door that had just been repaired.

"Coming!"

Rina went to answer the door to find that it was just Arya and thought to herself that she was right-Arya would never do anything to hurt her!

Still, as she ushered Arya in, Rina asked coolly, "Now explain yourself. What's with that fifty grand loan?"

Knowing that she could not hide it, Arya said, "I-It was an accident, I swear! My boyfriend is very sick and didn't have money, so I had to do something."

"You could've told me." Rina snorted. "I would've helped you if you did."

"But there's just too much at stake," Arya mumbled, hanging her head. "And I thought you'd thought the worst of me for it... Sorry."

"Sorry? Your best friend was almost abducted!" Hana strode up and took Rina's side, as this bullshit was too much for her.

How kind could Rina be, buying Arya's bullshit reason?! It was almost amusing!

"What's it to you?!" Arya snapped at Hana right away. "Who is she, Rina? She's driving us apart, isn't she?"

Rina scowled. "Without them, I'd be dead!"

"What, are you doubting me now?" Arya raised a brow.

"Of course!" Rina nodded.

"Hold on, girlie."

Hana promptly stopped her, as she really had enough of Arya's bare-faced lies. "I'm not trying to meddle, but are you believing that her boyfriend is sick just because she said so? What if I told you I'm the richest person alive? Does that make it true too?

"Arya, was it? There must be some proof, like medical records or the like. Show it, and we'd believe you!"

However, Arya promptly snapped at her, "It's none of your business! This is my bestie's home, so I'll kill you if you push me too far!"

"Kill me? Come on, just try it!"

"You asked for this!" Furious, Arya raised her hand to slap Hana, only to be kicked to the floor!

Even if Hana stood no chance against Frank, she was still the respected chief of Zephyr Hall and not about to be out-done by some gold digger!

Seeing that she would not win, Arya scowled and turned to Rina for help. "Can't

you see?! She just hit me! Help me out here!"

Rina simply smirked. "She's right. I was just too stupid to trust you."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Arya was left bemused.

That was not like Rina... What changed?!

Rina snapped right then, "That means any hopes I had for you earlier are gone now! You're the one who screwed up, but you blamed it on me and even tried to hurt the people who saved my life! What were you thinking?!"
