Frank smiled in wry amusement and did not answer, instead saying, "Everything's fine now, sir. You can all get back to work."

"Oh, of course! You're so amazing that you'd have no need for us. We won't impose."

As the crowd dispersed, Frank checked his watch-it was ten minutes past their meeting time!

Why was she not coming?!

Still, he walked up to the van where Jada and Moxxi were hiding, knocking on the window.

As Jada wound it down, she said, "Bring Aina over!"

"Is that really alright? It's just been ten minutes!" Jada was afraid of scaring Elizabeth into running.

Frank shrugged. "She says that Elizabeth is always punctual, so something must've happened. Just get Aina here!"noveldrama

Soon, Jada brought Aina over.

When she saw Ziva and the other unconscious men lying beside the road, she exclaimed in surprise, "Wait, have you already taken Elizabeth down? Why did you even bring me here?"

"Eh?"

Frank and everyone else were trading glances, with Jada asking in confusion, "Are you sure you have the right person? That woman is local-she doesn't look like Elizabeth!"

"I told you-she's a master of disguises!" Aina quickly explained. "And that's one of her disguises!"

Frank smiled in wry amusement-so that was why Elizabeth never showed up! They had already gotten to her!

"Take her away!"

At Frank's order, Jada and Moxxi whisked Ziva into their van and were soon back in a construction site that Frankton Group owned in Bono Town.

Work had yet to start there due to lack of materials, but the lack of workers around

meant that they did not have to worry about being seen.

Jada did not hesitate to splash a bucket on Elizabeth's face, jolting her awake.

Moxxi then strode up, tearing off the mask made of human skin to reveal the fair cheeks underneath.

"Who are you people?!" Elizabeth exclaimed in shock.

"That's not important." Jada laughed

at her. "Who you are is more important! I'm surprised that you could play a humble village bumpkin-we really would've been fooled if your people

Moxxi added, "And that's why you didn't get upset being hit. You were worried

you'd be exposed! Now tell us where's the real Ziva?"

Elizabeth laughed maniacally. "Probably devoured clean by the wolves!"

Frank nodded. "Sure, whatever you say. We'll do the same to you."

He poked his broken arm with one finger, leaving her screaming in pain. "W-What do you want?!"

"Nothing. We'd just like to know what you're going to do with the treasures from the tombs."

Elizabeth finally realized what they were after and quickly said, "I give up. You can take everything, but you must let me go!"

"You really don't get it, huh?"

Frank smiled in wry amusement. "We don't care about money. We just want to know why you did it!"

Elizabeth realized with a start. "That makes me important to you. In that case, do you dare to kill me?"

"You bitch" Moxxi snapped and

straight up, grabbing Elizabeth's ear

and tearing it off with a slight pull.

"We won't kill you, but we sure can torture you!"
