Chapter 1822
Chapter 1822
Standing in the distance, Titus shook his head and sighed at how brutal Frank was. "Mr. Lawrence, as a fellow man, I think you should show some chivalry. Ms. Quill is born a beauty, but you'd trample all over her so ruthlessly? It's honestly disappointing..."
"What's it to you?! Fuck off!"
Frank was just seeing red because of Ms. Quill's foul attitude and was especially indignant that Titus would use the fact to poke fun at him now.
Titus glowered at Frank's outburst in turn.
"Frank Lawrence! How dare you insult Mr. Lionheart!"
Azar Salor, the chief of Clear Winds Pavilion, certainly would not pass up the chance to lick Titus' boots, even asking him, "Mr. Lionheart, please give Clear Winds Pavilion your permission to subdue that insolent wretch!"
"Go."
Titus did not stop Azar this time.
For one, he was actually a little upset by Frank's insolence.
While he was also curious to see the depth of Frank's strength with this, it also went without saying that if Frank or Azar killed Ms. Quill by mistake, it would not be any of his business.
"Stop!" Frank promptly barked at Azar, and he could see that he was about to become the target of everyone else in the room.
Azar, however, could not care less.
Cracking his neck and rubbing his palms, he chuckled coolly. "Frank Lawrence, this is for hurting my son earlier today!"
However, Frank remained where he was, warning Azar, "I'm telling you to stop! Don't move-it's for your own good!"
"Why don't you listen to yourself? For my own good?"
Azar could hear him, but he merely raised a brow and kept advancing, still chuckling. "Trying to look all mysterious when you're just trying to buy time?"
"Well..."
Seeing that Azar refused to listen, Frank simply shook his head. "Whatever. There's no reason to argue with you when you deserve it."
"This is the end of the line for you, brat! I'll make you pay for insulting Mr. Lionheart and hurting my son!"
Azar was now close enough to Frank and charging his pure vigor as he raised his fist, aiming it straight at Frank.
"Stop!"
The two sentries were flinching in terror at the sight and leapt forward to stop Azar.
After all, if he missed so much by an inch, his full-powered punch might find Ms. Quill's head instead, blowing it into pieces!
However, Azar could not care less as the chief of Clear Winds Pavilion, he was determined to prove his loyalty to the Lionhearts.
As such, even punching a hole into the head of some heiress he had never heard of was absolutely acceptable.
Moreover, Frank would have to

release Ms. Quill if he wanted to dodge, and that would leave him surrounded, further lowering his odds.
Nheless, it was obvious that Ms. Quill was not thinking that far.Têxt © NôvelDrama.Org.
She was struggling as hard as she could when she saw Azar's fist streaking toward her.
However, Frank's fingers remained
around her neck, holding her with a

vice-like grip and making her struggles look like a child's flailing.
And even as Azar's fist shot ever closer, Ms. Quill's face turned pale despite her fearless attitude, and she started trembling uncontrollably.
ADUMS
She could clearly feel death's approach, like a monster spreading its gaping jaws as it lunged toward her. And the man behind her was clearly not going to release her, even using her as a meat shield!
