The Divorcee and Her Three Chaotic Children (Olivia Clarke and William)

Chapter 239

Chapter 239

“Hurry up and send her to the police station. Who knows what she’s up to? What if she’s a

psychopath?” The parents began to discuss.

“You’re a psychopath! I’m a member of the Pratt family. If you dare to do this to me, I’ll make this

kindergarten disappear from Melburgh immediately!” Jodie’s face hurt from the rocks in the flowerbed.

She was afraid of being disfigured, so she quickly revealed her identity.

The bodyguards only knew of the Kinsman family in Melburgh and had never heard of the Pratt family.

So when they heard that, they thought she was bluffing.

But these parents, rich and distinguished, had naturally heard of the world-famous Pratt family. Some

of them immediately turned silent in embarra**ment and fear.

“It is said that the beloved princess of the Pratt family is noble and elegant. She is skilled at playing the

piano, chess, calligraphy, and painting. She is known as a graceful lady. How could she behave like

that? I think this woman is an impostor!”

I’m not an impostor! Let go of me! William! William! Help!” Jodie immediately shouted for help when she

saw William standing behind the crowd.

William held Olivia’s hand and walked up to her. Olivia struggled a few times but couldn’t break free.

She turned her head and glared at William fiercely.

If he wanted to be a hero and get Jodie out of trouble, he could do it himself. Why did he force her to go

with him?

“William, tell them to let me go.” As William walked over, Jodie burst into tears, which was a pretty

pathetic scene.

“Ms. Pratt, please watch the way you address me. If you call me that again and upset my wife, I will not

let you go even if it means offending your family,” William said coldly. But when he turned around to

look at Olivia, his expression changed, as if his face was trying to say, “I have done a good job. Praise Exclusive © content by N(ô)ve/l/Drama.Org.

me. Praise me!”

Olivia lifted the corner of her mouth slightly. The uncomfortable feeling that had been weighing her

down suddenly vanished.

After the people heard what William said, the way they looked at Jodie changed, especially the women.

They hated those homewreckers the most.

Hearing this, Jodie flew into a rage.

“William, our marriage was set by the elders when we were young. It was that woman who plotted

against you and had sex with you in order to force you into marriage. Or we would have got married.

“You always hated her, didn’t you? Didn’t you feel disgusted just by looking at her? You worked

overtime every day until late at night because you didn’t want to see her face. That’s why after she

killed your grandfather, you didn’t hesitate…

“Shut up!” William exuded a terrifying aura. Those parents, who had been whispering to each other, all

fell silent.

“Mommy, Mommy, are you okay?” Ezra ran out of the cla**room when he saw that his parents seemed

to be arguing with

someone.

As soon as he came out, he saw that something was wrong with his mother and shook her arm.

Olivia’s mind drifted back to five years ago.

In those days, she had often waited for William to come home with the lights on until almost midnight,

but he always came home so late. And even when he was home, he would go straight to the study.

She had comforted herself that as president of the Kinsman Group, he must have a hectic schedule

every day. But she had not expected that the real reason was that he did not want to see her.

Olivia knew she was having another PTSD attack. She covered her chest and tried to get out, but she

was having trouble breathing and her hands and feet were weak.

“Olivia, Olivia, open your eyes and look at me. It’s not like that. I found out that I had fallen in love with

you and I didn’t know how to face you, so I tried to avoid you. At that time, I was angry about your

plotting against me, but I couldn’t take my eyes off of you. I hated myself for it…” William said as he

picked Olivia up and walked out.

Ezra followed him and called Jameson. He said in a tearful voice, “Uncle Smith, come and see my

mother.”

“What happened to Liv? Ezra, don’t cry. Tell me where you are.” Jameson, who was eating and drinking

at Chelsea’s home, heard Ezra’s so bs for the first time. He was so concerned that he jumped up and

hit his head on the ceiling.

Chelsea stopped cooking and came out of the kitchen, looking at Jameson blankly. When she heard

him mention Olivia’s name, she quickly put down the spatula and walked out with him.

12:05

On the 87th floor of Elite International, William carefully placed Olivia on the bed and stared at her

without blinking. At first, she was overcome with emotion but recovered consciousness after hearing his

words.

She said to him with tears in her eyes, “It’s so cold at night, William.” Then she fainted.

It was as if a knife had been thrust into his heart, and the pain was so severe that he could not breathe.

He had owed Olivia too much.

“Daddy, Mommy’s fine.” Ezra put his little hand in William’s to comfort him.

William picked him up and sat outside the ward, waiting.

“Daddy, you’re going to kill Mommy,” Luci said seriously as he sat in a chair next to William.

William opened his mouth but didn’t speak. After a while, he said, “It’s all my fault. I will protect your

mommy well.”

“Get rid of the women around you who have a crush on you. It’s the best way to protect Mommy.” Luci

had been staring at Olivia, who lay quietly in the room through the gla** door. He didn’t even glance at

his father out of the corner of his eye.

“Lucian is right. Dad, there are too many women in your life. I’m worried about Mommy being with you!

When Mommy recovers, I’ll take her home!” Ezra was suddenly enlightened by Luci’s words and

jumped out of William’s arms with red

eyes.

“This is your only home. No one is allowed to leave!” William pulled the two children into his arms

forcefully.

After an unknown amount of time, the two children fell asleep, and Marshall carried them to their

respective rooms. Jameson came out of Olivia’s ward with a tired face. Before he could speak, William

grabbed his arm firmly.

“Be gentle. If my hand becomes disabled, no one will be able to treat Olivia!”

“How is she? Is she all right?”

“She is fine for now, but try not to let her think about those bad things in the past. It’s best not to arouse

her emotions. She won’t be able to take it in her present physical condition.”

“Is she awake? I’ll go and see her,” William said and was about to walk into the ward.

Jameson stopped him, touched his nose, and said, “I just told you not to stimulate her. Let Chelsea in.”

Caught off guard, Chelsea entered the ward under William’s murderous gaze. When she saw Olivia

lying listlessly on the hospital bed, she felt a lump in her throat and tears immediately welled up in her

eyes.

“Liv, I thought I would never see you again!”
