The Almighty Dominance

Chapter 326

The night was wrapped in a deep, tired silence, a quiet that told Alex it was finally time to close up the Clinic and catch some rest.

He leaned back, feeling the weight of the day press on his shoulders, ready to lock up and call it a night.

Suddenly, the front door crashed open, shattering the silence.

Jasmine stumbled in, eyes wide with panic, her hair was tangled and disheveled, and her breaths came in sharp, desperate gasps.

At the reception desk, Josephine shot upright, her chair screeching against the floor.

"Miss Kingston-what are you?" Josephine began, startled.

But Jasmine ignored her, eyes locking instantly onto Alex.

"Alex!" she shouted, surging forward, throwing herself into his arms. "I can't go anywhere else—I won't! Only you can help me. Please!"

Behind her, Alfred Kingston burst through the door, his tie loosened, his face pale and slick with sweat. He took in the scene quickly, his breathing ragged.

"Alex, I'm sorry for this. They couldn't stop her. She escaped from the hospital," he panted, his voice strained.

"Jasmine, please don't trouble Mr. Alex. It's just a minor injury; you don't need to stay in a hospital at all. We can take care of it at home."

Jasmine twisted around, her face contorted with dramatic intensity.

"Dad, you don't get it! The wound isn't something you can see it's inside me. It's deep. I'm shattered and scared out of my mind."

"After everything that happened today-the trauma, the kidnapping, being surrounded by strangers-Alex is the only one who makes me feel safe. I need to be near him."

Alfred hesitated again, a deep sadness creeping into his expression.

He felt responsible for Jasmine's kidnapping earlier, haunted by his inability to protect her.

"Jasmine?"

Jasmine's voice cracked with desperation. "I'm not going back! If you try to make me, I swear I'll throw myself out the window!"

"Jasmine!" Alfred gasped, clearly horrified.

She jabbed a trembling finger at her father, eyes fierce. "Go ahead-test me!"

Alfred stood rooted, torn between paternal authority and helpless surrender.

Finally, with a heavy sigh, Alfred turned towards Alex, defeat slumping his shoulders.

"Fine," Alfred conceded softly, bowing his head slightly toward Alex. "Please, Mr. Alex, can you look after her?"

"No problem," Alex replied calmly, nodding reassurance.

A moment of awkward silence followed as the three of them exchanged uncertain glances.

Jasmine broke the tension impatiently. "Dad, why are you still here? I'm fine now. You can go home."

"But what about you?" Alfred asked cautiously.

"I have my bodyguards and a driver waiting for me. They'll take me home after Alex is done treating me," she insisted firmly.

"You're just bothering him now. Shoo, Dad. Go!"

Alfred hesitated, guilt twisting visibly in his features. He sighed deeply, finally giving in.

"Alright," Alfred murmured, looking sincerely at Alex. "Mr. Alex Please take good care of her. The doctors said trauma is common after something like this."

"She only trusts you right now. Don't worry-I have thirty bodyguards stationed nearby."

Jasmine rolled her eyes dramatically. "Father, go home already!"

"Fine, fine," Alfred muttered, shaking his head and slowly retreating out the door.

Once Alfred had left, Alex stared at Jasmine, confusion clear on his face. "What the hell was all that about?" he demanded sharply.

Jasmine smiled, suddenly composed, her eyes gleaming with mischief.

"Just finishing what we started this day, Alex," she whispered slyly. "Before my father barged in and ruined everything."

The night air felt thick with tension, each breath Alex drew seemed harder than the last.

"You still need to go home, Jasmine," he said softly.

But Jasmine simply reached for her phone, her eyes dancing mischievously as she dialed her driver.

"Marco, throw a barbeque for the bodyguards outside. Keep them busy. No one steps inside the clinic tonight. And smash your engine-make sure it stays broken till sunrise. Got it?"

She snapped the phone shut and turned back to Alex, a satisfied smirk on her lips.

"Perfect,” she purred, glancing around. "So, where's your shower? I need to freshen up."

Alex's heart pounded like a wild drum as he walked her to his room and pointed towards the private bathroom, barely able to speak.

Jasmine disappeared behind the door, leaving him to fall back onto the oversized bed, staring at the ceiling, fighting to steady his racing pulse.

Inside the bathroom, Jasmine stood beneath the steaming spray, water cascading over her trembling shoulders.

Tonight would mark the end of her innocence-her heart fluttered at the thought.

Carefully, she slipped into delicate lingerie worth more than most

people's monthly salary, admir

her reflection in the fogged mirror, biting softly at her lower lip.

As she stepped from the bathroom, the sight of Alex lying casually on the bed, his

shirt loosely draped over his chiseled frame, sent a wave of heat flooding her

body.

Jasmine froze for a heartbeat, stunned by her own racing emotions, then slowly walked toward him, driven purely by desire.

Their eyes locked, words no longer needed.

She sank beside him on the mattress, their lips meeting in a fierce, passionate

kiss.

Heat surged through their bodies, fueling an overwhelming need.

Alex felt his blood boil, his desire unmistakable beneath the thin sheets.

"Take me, Alex," Jasmine whispered breathlessly, her voice shaking with raw longing.

Alex was ready to lose himself in the moment when a sudden knock shattered the heated silence.

He groaned in frustration, shaking his head to clear the fog as he reluctantly pulled away and moved to open the door.

"Josephine?" he asked, surprise flickering in his eyes. "What are you doing here?"

"Oh, I just thought Jasmine might prefer staying with me," Josephine explained casually, a teasing glint in her eyes.

"You know, a man and a woman alone... trouble always follows."

"Trouble?" Alex frowned, genuinely confused.

Josephine smiled knowingly. "Demons love cheering this kind of thing on, you know."

"No thanks,” Jasmine called firmly from behind Alex. "I'm perfectly fine here." Josephine shrugged, unfazed.

"Thought you'd say that," she smirked, slipping past Alex into the room carrying her own pillow and blanket.

"I'll keep you company anyway."

Alex's jaw dropped. "Wait-what? But there's only one bed!"

"Yeah, a ridiculously big one," Josephine said, already arranging her spot on one

side.

"Listen, I know you saved Jasmine's

life, but she's still the governor's daughter. A man like you might get tempted by the devil tonight. I stay right here to save miss Governor from you."

"Miss Kingston, maybe you should sleep in the middle?" Josephine suggested

hesitantly.

"Nope," Jasmine interjected swiftly. "I want the edge."

"Fine,” Alex sighed, resigned. “Then I'll take the outside—"noveldrama

"No!" Jasmine yanked him roughly onto the bed, positioning him firmly between

herself and Josephine. "You stay right here."

Alex lay frozen, caught in a perfect storm between two women, his mind spinning between excitement and panic.

Josephine turned towards him, glaring sharply.

"Don't even think about doing anything funny, Alex," she warned sternly, eyes

narrowed suspiciously.

"You must resist the devil within!"

But Jasmine, paying no attention to

Josephine, leaned in even closer

guiding Alex's hand along the

contours of her body-slow,

deliberate, and dangerously

tempting.

Alex swallowed hard, staring up at the ceiling, locked in a brutal tug-of-war

between virtue and temptation.

He whispered through gritted teeth, "Oh God, please help me."

Then, like some cosmic joke, a quote popped into his head.

"In the middle of every difficulty lies opportunity."
