Chapter 1456
Andre said, "This place isn't safe."
Mia shot back, "Yeah, right. If you dare kick me out, we are done. For life!" Her voice rang out, sharp and clear, turning plenty of heads.
Wait-did she just say "for life"? Did something happen?
Noah took in the scene and instantly knew-the boss had been found out, and, even better, was totally at his wife's mercy.
Molly, standing on tiptoe to see over the ropes, whispered, "Mia, tell me that's not my brother Andre in there?"
She'd had her suspicions about her bestie all along. Connecting the dots, she figured it out.
Mia grinned. "He kissed me goodbye when I left this morning~"
Andre's face turned red, suddenly shy.
Nobody had really figured out what was going on when Mia threatened, "Let me through the back or I'll rip off your mask and show everyone who you really are."
The moment he realized he'd been exposed, Andre knew there was no winning this-he'd lost, completely and utterly.
He wrapped one arm around his wife's waist, scooped her up, and walked to the edge of the ring. Holding onto the rope, he swung himself over and landed smoothly on the ground.
Mia threw her hands in the air. "Yes! I win! Both his feet touched the floor, mine didn't~"
The crowd stared, baffled. "Auntie" had won, but nobody seemed to know how. Then her Gold Pass vanished, replaced by a gleaming silver-her White Pass. Molly jumped up and down, shrieking, "Mia! It's the White Pass! You're one step away from the Black Pass. You're in the top five now, Mia! You're amazing!"
Mia finally let go of Andre, bouncing on her toes with excitement. She threw her arms around him and made a pouty face, demanding a kiss.
Andre steadied her, still a bit dazed. He'd

eliminate her, thought he'd covered every base-and she still saw right

Instead, he'd helped her win. She was moving up to the White Pass.
Next up was the Black Pass finals.
Andre glared at the two sisters and barked, "Both of you, straighten up, put your clothes on, and go home!"
"Oh my god, it really is Andre," Molly muttered.
Andre shot his sister a warning look, then glanced at his mischievous, impossible, beloved wife, and turned to go.
Noah shrugged and followed. "Look at it this way, boss. She only caught you because she loves you so much."
Andre muttered, "She and Henry at home-I can't even count how many times they've teamed up on me."
He glanced down at his socks. That little rascal was acting up again.
Meanwhile, Mia and Molly were just as giddy, hugging each other like Mia's victory was their own.
"Mia, how'd you recognize it was Andre?" Molly asked.
Both of them blushed, hurriedly gathering their things to change and head home.
As they changed, Molly pressed her for details.noveldrama
Mia said, "He just felt so familiar, but
I didn't dare believe it at first.
You
Remember in the elevator? I told I thought I saw your brother. And during the match, I could feel someone staring at me. No one else would keep their eyes glued to me except Andre-he's always worried I'll get hurt."
Mia pulled on a cozy sweater and grabbed her phone as they waited for the elevator. "Your brother's part of The Sitent Ring. He'd definitely know there was a match today, and, well, he knows exactly what his wife looks like. So it's not surprising he was here. At first, I tried to spot a weakness, but he was impossible to read. And then, when he pulled me into his arms, I just knew-the way he smelled, even his sweat-I know my husband."
Mia beamed, proud and happy. Suddenly, her smile faded. "Oh no... I think I kind
of owe our son an apology for spanking him earlier..."
What do you think?
