Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance

Chapter 1449

Since Leo had to push the cart, he had to let go of his little brother for a second. But the moment he did, Henry bolted-no way was he going to stick around just because his big brother said so.

Henry took off again, making little engine noises as he ran.

Leo, still holding Wayne with one arm, jogged after Henry. Luckily, he had long legs-catching a little tiger cub like Henry was nothing. He grabbed Henry's tiny hand. "Hey, turbo, can you chill for just a minute?"

But Henry was already reaching for something else, eyes wide with curiosity.

Wayne looked up at his brother, absolutely smitten, his little hands squeezing as if hoping Leo would scoop him up next.

Seeing her boyfriend wrangling two kids, Anya picked up Ash and headed for a cart. "Chad, I've got the cart!" she called.

She set Ash inside, and Leo dropped Wayne in too. As for Henry, who refused to let go of his brother's hand-

Leo bent down and scooped him into his arms. "I'll carry Henry. We've both been hauling the other two around, but I haven't given this guy a turn yet. He walked all the way here-probably doesn't want to sit. I'll hold him."

Henry melted into his brother's hug, loving every second. Going shopping with his siblings was the best-he could run wild, not a single threat of a spanking, and he even got carried!

If he were with his dad, he'd have been yanked back and scolded already.

Once the pack of kids got into the supermarket, the whining stopped.

Anya tossed a pack of napkins in the cart. "Ash, Wayne, sit on top-it's comfier that way."

They picked up some basics: toothpaste, which the two littles instantly grabbed and started gnawing on.

Anya needed to grab veggies too, so they wandered over to the seafood section. Henry pointed at the fish tank and shouted in his little-kid voice, "That's not my daddy—my daddy is a real fish! Mommy, where are you?"

Leo grinned, "Do you know your brother's name?"

"Big Bro!" Henry chirped.

Leo laughed. "I am your brother, but not 'Big Bro.""

Henry wrapped his arms around Leo's neck, staring at the big shrimp and licking his lips.noveldrama

Anya declared, "We're getting those!"

They bought fish and loaded up on veggies. As soon as celery landed in the cart, two little hands went for the leaves and even tried to munch on the stalks.

They weren't used to the taste and made the funniest faces-almost crying at how weird it was.

Anya quickly handed them snacks to cheer them up.

When they got tofu, the kids kept trying to grab and squish it, so Leo had to get another mini cart just for the veggies.

People passing by saw the young couple pushing three kids around. The two toddlers, barely over a year old, kept calling out "Mommy! Daddy and the store staff just assumed they were all one big family. "Three boys at home-how do you even handle that?

Leo just sighed.

Someone else said, "They must be doing well-look at them, parents of three, still young and good-looking."

"Three kids, that's got to be tough. The oldest and youngest aren't far apart—bet they had the first, then twins right after."

All around them, people whispered and guessed.

Anya puffed out her cheeks and glanced at Leo.

Leo turned, still carrying Henry and pushing the cart with the other two, and walked right over to the gossipers. "Just to clear things up: the one I'm holding is my brother-my uncle's son."

Henry piped up, "Brother, I'm hungry!"

Anya came over, and Leo added, "And this is his sister."

Henry turned to Anya and called out sweetly, "Sis!"

In the cart, the other two little goofballs sat. Leo pointed at Wayne, "And that one's

my brother, from my aunt's side."
