That mug was reserved for his big brother-no one else dared touch it.

Wayne was standing there with his brother's mousepad, tossing it on the floor and pressing his bare feet into it. The pad was squishy and soft, and honestly, it just felt good underfoot.

The bathroom scale was on the floor too, protection film half-ripped off. Who knows which little gremlin got their hands on it.

Thankfully, Anya was still looking out for him-she closed off his study, making sure the three little chaos makers couldn't storm in.

Arthur, spotting a "strange man," immediately latched onto his sister's neck.

Anya blinked at her boyfriend's sudden homecoming, trying to process what she was seeing.

It was Henry who broke the silence with a loud, "Hey, bro!"

Leo set the food down on the dining table and called out, "Pumpkin, Peanut, Arthur, come here!"

Sweetie ran over, clutching her brother's water cup, but her little hand slipped and the cup hit the floor with a bang-miraculously, it didn't shatter.

Henry, not missing a beat, picked it right back up and chucked it again.

Leo surveyed the absolute mess, sighed, and smacked his own head. "Okay, you. With me, now."

Anya piped up, "Chad, none of them understand anyway-just say it."

Henry chimed in with a singsong, "Sweetheart~”

Leo pointed at his little brother. "You're exactly the one I'm watching out for."

He grabbed Anya's hand and dragged her into the bedroom, not even shutting the door, just in case those three outside tried something wild. "Why do you always have to meddle in their business?"

"I told you, I promised Aunt and Uncle I'd help out~" Besides, she was more than happy to play with the kids solo.

Leo jabbed his finger toward the window, as if Mia and Molly were right outside. "Those two are 100% getting grounded. You want to join them?"

Anya was sure of herself. "Uncle would never punish me."

"You think you're so special he won't? Just because your dad's in the Cedillo family, you think your uncle's scared of you? Did you forget-my old man's hero is your uncle!" Leo's voice shot up.

Anya's cheeks turned rosy. She mumbled, almost bashful, "Chad, my dad's notnoveldrama

Leo huffed, "That's just a matter of time."

Anya shook her head quickly. "I'm just saying the truth."

Leo eyed her, then grabbed her arm "Come on, let's go talk to your dad. Even if take over Cedillo Inc. today, I'm still getting that marriage dicense with you!"

Anya dug her heels in, refusing to budge, whining, "Chad, I'm sorry, okay?" Leo tightened his grip, pulling her closer. "So you wanna break up? Hanging out with those two troublemakers too much—look what they've done to you."

She used to follow him everywhere, calling "Chad" every two seconds. Back then, he was her number one, no contest-not even the kids could top him.

Now she was always dodging him, spending her days with that squad of pint- sized menaces.

Suddenly, there was a loud crash from the dining room. The couple went still for a moment.

Then Leo grabbed Anya's hand and rushed out.

There was a chair, toppled over, and the little rascals stood off to the side, eyeing the chair, then looking up sheepishly at their big brother and sister.
