Chapter 327
Chapter 327:
I knew I fucking said I was going to wait for the right time he wanted to tell me, but this… This is fucking beyond waiting.noveldrama
A brother he didn’t think I deserved to know about. A brother he lied to me about.
What the fuck was I supposed to do with that?
Just when I thought I could breathe again, thought we’d finally moved past the whole Jason and Luna Anna shitshow—just when I thought I had him—this drops out of nowhere like some cosmic joke. I gave him everything. My time. My trust. My fucking heart. And what do I get in return? Secrets. Lies. Skeletons shoved so deep into his closet I practically had to trip over them to find out they existed.
I can’t do this. I won’t do this.
My hands are shaking like crazy as I shove my things into a bag, the edges of my vision blurring with tears I refuse to let fall. My chest is so tight it feels like it might cave in, but I don’t stop. I can’t stop. The more I think about it, the angrier I get.
Ryder’s fucking excuses—”I was trying to protect you, Jasmine. You wouldn’t understand, Jasmine. I was doing what I thought was best, Jasmine.” Fucking bullshit. Protection doesn’t come with deception. Love doesn’t come with half-truths. And trust? Clearly, it was never even on the table.
I place the call without hesitation.
The Vipers. My real family. The ones I spent months refusing to get close to because I wanted to stand by Ryder. Because I thought my place was with my husband. But now? Fuck that. Fuck him. This is my best option.
When Enzo shows up, his face says it all. The sharp lines of his jaw are set in stone, his lips pulled into a thin, tight line. He doesn’t say much, doesn’t need to. He just…
He opens his arms, and I collapse into him, letting every ounce of pain and anger pour out as he holds me like the goddamn brother I didn’t even know I needed.
I tell him everything—every betrayal, every lie—and he listens without interrupting, his silence a comfort in a way words couldn’t be. Then, without a word, he grabs my bag, puts it in the car, and tells me to get in.

Enzo doesn’t say it, but I know he’s pissed. At Ryder, at the situation, maybe even at me for not walking away sooner. But he doesn’t push. He knows this isn’t the time for “I told you so”—or maybe it’s the fact that he doesn’t want to interfere in my marriage.
And just as we’re about to drive off—because I’m done, so fucking done—he shows up.
“Jasmine!” Ryder’s voice cuts through the air like a blade, sharp and raw and so full of desperation it makes my chest tighten all over again.
I see him in the rearview mirror, standing in the middle of the road, his hands covered in blood, his face twisted into something between rage and heartbreak.
He looks like a man unraveling at the seams.
Good. He should.
“Keep driving,” I mutter to Enzo, slumping further into the seat.
Well, Ryder doesn’t make it that easy.
He fucking plants himself in front of the car, like a goddamn lunatic, forcing Enzo to slam on the brakes. The tires screech against the gravel, and I swear I can feel my pulse in my ears.
“Jasmine,” Ryder yells again, his voice cracking as he moves closer, his eyes wild and frantic.
