Shrouded Affections Winning Back My CEO Wife

Chapter 856

Chapter 856:

“You have no shame in getting involved with Gianna. Why should I feel ashamed about digging up your grave?” Eileen stood, straightened her clothes, and casually adjusted Conroy’s skewed wig, making it sit more properly. “With this ridiculous hair, you’re playing quite the game. You’ll see what’s coming to you.”

With those words, Eileen left. Behind her, Conroy seethed, “You—” His voice was soon muffled by the door. Despite saying that, Eileen knew the situation was complicated. Now, Conroy would be even more vigilant against any attempts by her to conduct a paternity test.

She wasn’t skilled at taking on such intimacy by law, and she needed solid evidence of sex to prove adultery. Yet, the fact that Conroy and Gianna had raised Jessica until now without raising suspicions highlighted their extreme caution and secrecy.

This was going to be challenging. Eileen knew it would be hard for her to make another move again.

As she sat on the couch contemplating these issues, she noticed Bryan was focused on his work. “Bryan, how about we have an argument so that I can spend a few days at the Vazquez Mansion?”

Bryan slightly lifted his eyelids. “Going back to the Vazquez Mansion sounds like a hassle.”

Eileen sat up straight to have a serious discussion with him. “Conroy has probably blacklisted me. It’s going to be next to impossible for me to even see him again. Under these circumstances, gathering more evidence will be tough for me, but you are different! You have a better chance!”

Bryan crossed his arms and reclined in his chair, looking at her. “How am I any different? Do you think I can just yank some hairs from his head or take a couple of vials of his blood whenever I like?”

“If you’re nice to him, he’d probably hand his life over to you. What’s a few terms of blood compared to that?” Eileen became more convinced as she spoke that Bryan was perfect for this task. “His hair is fake; the real stuff is tucked away underneath his wig. It’s hard to pull out his hair, and there’s no justifiable reason to draw his blood without cause. You’re the only one who could possibly earn his trust.”

Bryan frowned. “I’m not a woman. How do you expect me to get that close to him? He probably only removes that toupee when he’s asleep. I can’t exactly sneak into his bed, can I?”noveldrama

Bryan’s words almost made Eileen laugh out loud. She said, “He doesn’t even remove his toupee when he sleeps. You’ll have to figure out your own way to obtain his blood or hair.”

Unable to hold back any longer, Bryan stood, picked up Gabriela, who was drawing on an A4 paper next to him, and walked over to Eileen. He placed the child on her lap and asked, “So tell me, how can I get Conroy to trust me enough to willingly give me his blood?”

Eileen felt Gabriela’s weight as the child turned and handed her a colored pencil. “Mommy, you draw!”

“Doesn’t Jessica like you? Why not court her, get a premarital health check done, and drag Conroy along for a physical? It wouldn’t be too much, would it?” Eileen casually guided Gabriela’s hand to draw some lines. Gabriela squealed with delight.

Luckily, Gabriela was in her arms. Otherwise, she might have been tossed out the window by Bryan.

“What a terrible plan! I can’t believe you even thought of that!” Bryan’s expression darkened. He clenched his teeth and flicked Eileen’s forehead.

Eileen flinched in pain and covered her forehead with her hands. Yet, knowing she was at fault, she refrained from retaliating.
