She's the Campus Prince

Chapter 698

As the sun dipped below the horizon, the moon quietly rose into the sky.

Cameron and Bradley were driving to meet up with Xander and the others at a private restaurant when her phone rang. It was

Austin.

"Cam! I'm back!" Austin's voice was filled with excitement.

Cameron paused for a moment. "You're back? Where are you?"

Austin said happily, "I'm at Viremont International Airport. Where are you? Is it okay if I come to see you now?"

Cameron turned to look at Bradley, who was driving. "Brad, Austin's back."

Bradley raised an eyebrow in surprise. “Let him join us."

Cameron nodded slightly. "Austin, Brad and I are on our way to meet up with Elijah and Xander. Do you want to join us?"

"Xan and Eli are there too? That means everyone from 316 will be there! Of course I want to come. Wait for me, Cam!" Austin said excitedly.

Cameron sent him the address.

When Cameron and Bradley arrived, Elijah was already there.

He was the first to arrive.

Actually, Xander was the first to arrive.

But he parked his car at the entrance of the restaurant and didn't get out.

It wasn't until he saw Cameron and Bradley walking in hand in hand that he finally got out of the car, taking his time.

Bradley pushed open the door to the private room and spotted Elijah. He smiled slightly, "Eli, long time no see."

Elijah stood up and nodded. "Yeah, it's been a long time."

His response was rather indifferent.

Elijah used to think of Bradley as a good friend.

But he really couldn't accept what Bradley had done seven years ago.

There was no way they could stay friends after that.

Bradley was always perceptive, so he quickly picked up on how Elijah was keeping his distance.

But he didn't dwell on it. He just chalked it up to the fact that they hadn't seen each other in ages.

"Eli," Cameron nodded slightly.

Elijah glanced between Bradley and Cameron, then gave a small nod in return.

They really did look good together a perfect match.

Even though Elijah wasn't happy about losing to Bradley, he still chose to respect Cameron.

All he could do now was give them his blessing.

"Am I late?" Xander asked as he pushed open the door, arriving two minutes after Cameron and the others.

He stepped into the private room.

"Xander," Elijah said, almost in disbelief at how steady and mature Xander seemed now.

"Eli, long time no see," Xander replied with a slight nod.

Still in his suit from a meeting, Xander just picked a seat at random and sat down, lifting a hand to pinch the bridge of his nose, looking exhausted.

His gaze drifted over Cameron unconsciously.

This was the fourth time he'd seen her dressed in feminine clothes.

After all these years, she took his breath away even more than she did back then.

Xander kept every emotion carefully locked away in his eyes.

Cameron said, "By the way, Austin's back. He'll be here soon."

"Austin? He's back already? What brought him back?" Xander looked up at Cameron surprisingly.

His gaze slowly fell on Bradley's hand wrapped around Cameron's waist.noveldrama

Cameron said, "He saw the news and came back to see me."

Hearing this, Elijah asked with concern, "Cam, they still haven't caught whoever's behind all this?"

Cameron shook her head and replied, "Not yet."

Xander fell silent.

He'd had his own people dig around too, but they'd come up empty-handed.

Whoever was behind this had come prepared - it was never going to be that easy to find them..

Elijah frowned. "Isn't that dangerous for you?"

Cameron shook her head and said with a smile, "It's fine. My dad got me a personal bodyguard, plus Brad hardly ever leaves my side. I'll be fine, really."

'Honestly,' Cameron thought to herself, 'with my skills, I could handle anything that comes my way. I don't really need anyone to protect me.'
