No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric)

A cold voice rang out from behind Xenia. She turned around stiffly and saw Noelle standing at the doorway.

Noelle walked up slowly and stared at her. "Do you want me dead that badly?"

"Why are you here, Noelle? You must have misheard me! I wasn't talking about you just now," Xenia replied.

She broke into a cold sweat from panic. She was certain that Noelle should have been unconscious after drinking the drugged milk. She could not comprehend why Noelle was in front of her.noveldrama

Noelle smirked and then stepped forward to knock Xenia unconscious without hesitation. She was curious to see what exactly Xenia had planned for her.

Noelle easily dragged Xenia back to her bedroom. After thinking for a while, she decided to put her on her bed and turn off the lights.

She then hid herself in the bathroom, eager to see what would happen next.

Time passed by slowly, and the bedroom door eventually creaked open. The silhouette of a man could be seen slipping inside.

It was none other than Gordon. He was reeking of alcohol, still holding a bottle of liquor in his hand.

He tiptoed to the bed and saw a woman sound asleep. He then reached out to strip off her clothes before pressing himself onto her to grope and kiss her.

Gordon drunkenly cursed out under his breath. "You bitch. Did you have fun insulting me and kicking me out of the house? Now I'm going to fuck you! So what if you're from a rich family? Now you're just like a defenseless woman like any other!"

Noelle's lips curled up into a cold sneer as she listened to his vulgar insults. It would seem that it was the climax of Xenia's scheme that she had gone to great lengths to prepare.

Given her efforts, Noelle felt that Xenia ought to play the role of the main character herself. She could not help but wonder what kind of face Xenia would make once she realized what had happened.

Before long, the quiet bedroom became filled with soft moans mixed with Gordon's insults. Suddenly, the bedroom door was kicked open.

Frank stormed into the room and switched on the lights.

He was immediately enraged upon seeing the pair entangled on the bed. "Gordon! What the hell are you doing?!"

Gordon groggily opened his eyes. He flinched when he saw Frank, but the alcohol had already emboldened him.

He raised his voice and said, "Ms. Noelle called me here! She said that she had something to tell me since I'm leaving tomorrow!"

"You bastard! Who do you think you are to touch my sister?! I'm going to fucking kill you!" Frank's eyes were red with anger. He could not believe that Gordon dared to lay his hands on Noelle.

He tackled Gordon to the ground and started beating him up mercilessly. The drunk Gordon muttered, "It was Ms. Noelle who seduced me! She seduced me!"

Frank slammed his fist onto Gordon's face again and again until Gordon's face became covered in blood.

Moments later, Donovan and Blake arrived in the room, too. The weird scent in the room instantly darkened their expressions.

Blake was furious. He grabbed Gordon and shouted, "Who the fuck allowed you to touch her?!"

Gordon's face was already a bloody mess, but he still let out a mocking smirk before passing out cold. Blake threw him to the ground and kicked him repeatedly. He would have killed Gordon on the spot if he could.

Donovan's expression sank as he ordered Lucas to shut the door. He did not want any housekeepers to witness the scene any further as it might risk causing rumors to spread.

Frank's eyes were bloodshot. "Donovan, I've told you long ago that something's wrong with Gordon, but you insisted on bringing him to Yasnia as well! Now look at what happened!"

Donovan felt so guilty that he could not come up with a reply. Blake tugged at Frank and said, "You need to calm down first, Frank."

Frank was so furious that he could barely stand straight. "How am I supposed to fucking calm down?! You want me to calm down after what just happened to my own sister? Call the police! Now!"

Donovan refused and said, "No. We can't call the police. If we get the police involved, news about this will spread all across Yasnia in no time. What's gonna happen to our family's reputation then?"
