Chapter 275 Dinner with Emyr

Last time a group came, this time Celeste visited the villa alone. The normally bold Celeste suddenly turned shy, chatting away with Alfred about Charmaine's home life.

As they chatted for hours, Charmaine thought, aren't we supposed to be studying?

Peeking under the towel, she met Emyr's frosty look and blinked innocently. "I saw a drop of water slip in. If it isn't dried properly, you'll get a headache."

Emyr's cold look pierced through her flimsy excuse, "Is it gone now?"

Charmaine gauged his mood-no signs of anger.

"Not yet, a minute or two more!"

She draped the towel back over him and continued her vigorous drying. Emyr remained silent.

Celeste, watching eagerly, could not help but exclaim, "Oh my god! Mr. Emyr is actually letting Charmaine fuss over him! He looks like a lion getting groomed!"

The house staff watched the scene, whispering among themselves, "No doubt, he's completely indulging her!"

Charmaine Nelson was a woman of principle.

She said two minutes, and she really did wait for two minutes before putting her hands down.

Tad watched in fear.

He had followed Emyr for many years and had never seen anyone dare to mess with him like this and live to tell the tale.

She hugged Charmaine's arm tightly, like holding the only driftwood in the sea, trembling all over, "No way, is Emyr going to have dinner with us?!"
