He didn’t even look at her until she said, “Please.”

“Not everything is about you. You can’t get anything you want.”

Janet’s heart was painful, but she looked calm.

She was stubborn. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have ignored people’s persuasion and married him.

It was impossible to make her give up in a few words!

She looked at him, “It was supposed to be auctioned. Let’s bid here. Who bids higher, who has it.”

He seemed interested. He gave the porcelain back to Lennon and looked around. People surrounded

them.

“Who wants to bid with me?”

They shrank their necks and avoided his gaze.

“How could we bid with Mr. Webster?”

“I don’t like China anyway. I’m leaving.”

“I can’t take away your favorite. Can I?”

People left. Janet asked Lennon, “Can I join the auction?”

Lennon was in a dilemma.

He didn’t want to offend either of them.

Why did they involve him in this?

“Mr. Webster has already transferred the money to my account, and we signed the contract. Strictly to

say, it has nothing to do

with me.”

He gave it back to Nathaniel.

He was relieved.

“Please don’t stay here. The auction is over.”

The crowds dispersed. Content © provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

They didn’t want to involve in the fight.

Everyone left. Lennon was staying and watching the play.

He was curious about what Nathaniel would do.

Janet was staring at the porcelain.

If it weren’t for the memories with her father, she wouldn’t have wanted to beg him.

“Please, Mr. Webster.” She forced a smile, “I can meet all your needs.”

It was rare to see her being so humble.

Quintina and Winifred were excited and happy to see this.

Winifred put on an arrogant face and looked at Janet disdainfully.

“Why are you so humble? I still remember how excited you were when you schemed me earlier!”

“Exactly.” Quintina said, “Are you sure you have enough money? Will your sugar daddy give you

enough money to waste?”

“Son, ask her for 400 million!”

Nathaniel glanced at them, and they shut up.

“Do you really want this?” He asked.

“Yes.”

Janet nodded.

The scene in Longfellow Group hall appeared in his mind again.

He was excited.

She was begging him.

“I don’t want money.” He shook the porcelain in front of Janet and was happy to see her being nervous,

“Come to my company to talk about our companies’ cooperation.”

The cooperation?

He said he would cancel all cooperation between the two companies.

What exactly did he want?

“Stop dreaming. You can’t threaten Jim with a piece of porcelain.” Ernest said angrily.

He actually wanted to say, “Bas*ard!”

“Forget it.”

Nathaniel wanted to leave.

Ernest was angry with his arrogance. He really wanted to punch him in the face.

“Don’t!” Janet grabbed his hand, “I will go to your company tomorrow. You remember to bring what I

want.”

She didn’t know what he was planning.

But she couldn’t give up the porcelain.

Nathaniel squinted his eyes and said, “Okay.”

Why did she want this so much? Was there a secret behind it?

There must be a reason she valued it so much.
