Chapter 77
Mary Clyne saw Alice Clyne walking out from the elevator and asked curiously, "Why are you here? Following us? You want to pester Patrick again?"
Alice Clyne walked out of the elevator and looked at her coldly, not saying a word.
The two sisters had never been on good terms, but they had never really been on bad terms.
Alice Clyne never thought that Mary Clyne would always have this kind of tone towards her behind her back, with no lack of despise and hatred.
Three years ago, the thing might really have been related to Mary Clyne. Alice Clyne's opinion of her deepened.
"No, you're not here to pester Patrick." When Mary Clyne saw the trash bag in her hands, he suddenly understood and laughed, "Now that you are close to William Cullen, how can you remember Patrick, you also came to live in Port of Heaven."
If you were to wander around Port of Heaven with a trash bag, then it would mean that you had also lived here.
It was ridiculous that we sister should be neighbors.
Alice Clyne looked at her sister indifferently. After her adoptive mother asked her to sign the < Ending Book of Relationship >, Alice Clyne had made it clear that her relationship with William Cullen could not be kept a secret at Clyne family.
Standing in front of Mary Clyne, Alice Clyne did not say a word. With an indifferent expression, she walked towards the big trash can and threw the trash bag inside.
Mary Clyne laughed in disdain from behind her, "I don't know if it is on purpose, but I don't think I will stay by William Cullen's side and pester Patrick, right? I actually should move another place, so that the baby and husband in my stomach wouldn't be disgusted by others every day."
Hearing that, Alice Clyne couldn't help but straighten her back.
Anger welled up from the bottom of her heart. Even if she chose to give up, she would not be able to gain the slightest bit of understanding, and she might even end up being slandered.
Since that was the case, what else did she have to worry about?
"Mary Clyne."
Alice Clyne called out to her.
Just as Mary Clyne was about to turn the corner, she heard her voice and stopped. She looked at her in shock and disdain, "What?"
Alice Clyne turned around, walked towards Mary Clyne laughed lightly, and said gently: "Regarding the matter of the broken relationship, I still have a thing or two that I'm not clear on, why not go to your house to talk about it."
"Talk?" Mary Clyne looked at her suspiciously, "What's there to talk about? Go ask parents, they didn't want you."
They didn't want you.noveldrama
Another strike.
Alice Clyne was about to continue speaking.
Not far away, a door opened from inside. Patrick Miller's slender figure stood there, the casual looking silver suit made him look refined, with brown short hair. His face had an exquisite yet feminine look, with no expression.
His first reaction was to call her name, not Mary Clyne.
Alice Clyne was a little stunned, but her reaction was even more agitated. She walked to Patrick Miller's side and grumbled: "What did you call her, Patrick?"
What's going on?
Patrick Miller actually called Alice Clyne by her nickname. This was something that had never happened to him before he lost his memories.
"Nothing." Patrick Miller withdrew his gaze from Alice Clyne, and looked towards Mary Clyne who was beside him, "I'm just curious about why you two are together."
Mary Clyne pressed the weight of her entire person against Patrick Miller, as she leaned weakly on his body and declared her sovereignty. A pair of exquisite eyes glowered at Alice Clyne, her mouth pouting. "I don't know what she's thinking, but she said that she wanted to talk to me about some matter that would end our relationship. That's up to her parents, it's not my business."
Alice Clyne looked down at the intimate scene between the two.
She discovered that after returning from The Isle of the Clouds, her mood didn't seem to change when she faced these two again. This was probably a good thing.
"Is that so?" Patrick Miller looked at Alice
Clyne with a gentle expression, "Come in then."
Alice Clyne looked at Patrick Miller in shock. He actually invited her?
"What?" Mary Clyne looked at Patrick Miller in disbelief, as if she wanted to say something. Patrick Miller had already turned his body to the side, making a path. Saying that, Patrick Miller took his hand out from Mary Clyne's and walked towards the maid, and said: "Bring a few cups of fruit juice over, and prepare some snacks."
" Patrick!"
Mary Clyne immediately chased after him.
Alice Clyne paused outside of the door for a few seconds, then resolutely walked
in.
Upon entering, Alice Clyne realized that the decorations here were much higher than the one upstairs, the ones William Cullen bought for her had been refined and hadn't been changed.
And here in Miller Family, the whole house was decorated like a princess' palace, giving off a dreamy, beautiful, gorgeous and retro feeling____
This made Alice Clyne think that Patrick Miller had promised to give Mary Clyne a princess
wedding.
It turned out that at home, Patrick Miller doted on Mary Clyne like a princess.
"Alice, take a seat."
In the huge living room, Patrick Miller invited Alice Clyne to sit. Her voice was light and warm, giving off the feeling of the spring breeze.
"Thank you."
Alice Clyne nodded lightly and sat down on the sofa.
Mary Clyne stood at the side, her gaze sweeping across Patrick Miller and her face was filled with hatred and envy.
She directly sat next to Alice Clyne, blocking her view. She placed the phone that she had been holding in her hand onto the tea table, and looked at Alice Clyne with alert, "What do you want to say? "Then, you should hurry up and leave."
Ever since Patrick Miller lost his memory many years ago, the moment Alice Clyne came to find him, she had immediately entered a state of alert.
Alice Clyne's gaze landed on the phone with the cute rabbit ear on it. She bit her lips and casually said, "I just want to know when the Broken Book will take effect. Is Mom and Dad determined?"
How do I get a phone to plant a virus system?
"Of course, Mom and Dad would like it if you break off your relationship with our family as soon as possible." Mary Clyne pulled Patrick Miller and sat down beside her, and leaned close to him, "If that's what you want to ask, then you can leave."
Patrick Miller didn't participate in their conversation, but his gaze landed on Alice Clyne.
"Mary Clyne, you don't seem to want me to get any closer to you."
Alice Clyne stared at her phone and said. She couldn't come up with a solution,
so she had to think of a way to get her phone.
"Of course, of course I'm on guard against a woman who has been coveting my husband." Mary Clyne said.
"Were you on guard against me three years ago?"
Alice Clyne suddenly said as she raised her eyes to look at Mary Clyne deeply.
When she finished speaking, Mary Clyne, who was in Patrick Miller's embrace, instantly froze. She looked at her in shock, but the surprise quickly disappeared from her eyes.
Mary Clyne returned to normal and her voice revealed a trace of innate love, "I have always been on guard against you, and have never stopped."
"Is that so?"
Seeing that, Alice Clyne knew what was going on, and looked at the phone on the table again, how to get it.
"Juice."
The maid came back with the juice and left to prepare the pastries.
"Can you leave now? You and our family have broken off all relations, and we have finished our wedding. We have nothing more to say to each other." Mary Clyne urged Alice Clyne to leave, "Please leave, it's best if we don't meet again in the future."
Every time Alice Clyne entered Patrick Miller's field of vision, she would become indescribably nervous.
She thought it would be better to get married, but she didn't expect it to be the same.
Alice Clyne also understood that she did not have any reason to continue staying here, but she was not willing to lose until she got her phone.
A person's first reaction will not lie.
Seeing how sensitive Mary Clyne was towards the three words "three years ago", she was even more convinced that it had something to do with Mary Clyne.
"I'm going to the bathroom." Patrick Miller suddenly pushed Mary Clyne aside and stood up, walking towards the smooth floor. He suddenly turned around and looked at Mary Clyne, and casually said, "Oh right, the makeup on your face is a little flowery, let your assistant help you make it up."
"What?"
Mary Clyne was a celebrity who paid great attention to her looks, upon hearing her words, she immediately stood up and quickly dragged her assistant in the direction of the washroom.
"Then sit a while longer."
Patrick Miller looked at Alice Clyne with a gentle gaze and smiled faintly. His pretty face looked even more feminine.
He turned around and walked in as well.
In the huge living room, only Alice Clyne was left, along with a cell phone with a rabbit's ear shell on the tea table.
She didn't think that she would be able to touch her phone, but she was left with such a rare opportunity.
Alice Clyne looked around, then extended her hand and picked up the phone. She took out the silver box from her pocket and plugged it into the electric battery. Sure enough, just as William Cullen had said, after the virus was plugged in, it automatically started to run. 30 seconds.
This was the first time Alice Clyne had done something so sneaky. She could not help but be nervous, and raised her head to look in the direction of the washroom from time to time.
Hurry up.
Faster.
Alice Clyne secretly urged the virus in her heart. She bit her lower lip so hard that all the pores on her body shrunk.
Not far away, Patrick Miller stood behind a white pillar, his eyes quietly looked at Alice Clyne who was nervous in the living room, his feminine and handsome face revealed a knowing smile.
She really wanted Mary Clyne's phone.
He knew she must be thinking something when he saw her staring at the phone.
Alice Clyne nervously bit her lips until they were white.
Stupid you are, Alice, don't be so nervous.
It was an opportunity he had created for her. How could he not let her do it well?
Alice, no matter what you want to do, I will make a path for you.
Patrick Miller looked at the slim figure and said that silently from the bottom of his heart. A pair of long and narrow eyes filled with gentleness.
Alice Clyne sat on the sofa, holding phone tightly. After 30 seconds, the screen
returned to normal, it was no different from a normal phone.
It was finally done.
Alice Clyne immediately took out the silver box and placed it in her own pocket,
then placed the phone back on the table.
"You still haven't left?"
When Mary Clyne came out of the bathroom and saw that Alice Clyne was still
there, she was slightly unhappy.
She was really shameless. She just sat there and didn't leave.
Alice Clyne was so nervous that her legs felt weak. She reached out and drank a
cup of fruit juice to cover herself. After she finished calming herself down, she stood up and said indifferently, "I'm leaving now."
Her purpose had been achieved, and she did not want to stay in this house any
longer.
"Please send her out." Patrick Miller also walked out at this time, and instructed the maid who brought the pastries.
What do you think?
