Chapter 61
S he didn't want it.
She definitely wouldn't.
Alice fell down onto the chair, her hands tightly holding onto the fork, and her mind in complete chaos.
In the end, she was still dragged away by William to his company.
The sky was clear, and the N.E. Building was located in the San Francisco's technological district. It was a magnificent sight.
The CEO's Office was at the building's higher levels. Inside a large area of windows, William was working at a desk, his hand holding onto a mouse as he checked the technical reports on the computer.
The security issue of N.E mobile phone software has been solved perfectly.
William put down the mouse and pressed the center of his brows with his fingertip, soothing himself from exhaustion. He slowly turned his head, and saw Alice seated in front of a white desk that had been set up for her.
She sat there with her paintbrush in her hand. The tip of fingers pressed against the white paper, but she drew nothing.
"What are you daydreaming for?"
William spoke in a low voice as he looked deeply at her with his black eyes.
Alice regained her senses as she looked up at William. The profoundness in his eyes startled her, and she avoided his gaze.
The confession from that morning was still fresh in her mind. It was the first time she had seen someone confess with a stern expression, and it was also the first time she was confessed with a face full of fear.
"What do you mean?"
William's tone became sullen and his eyebrows knitted together.
"That's what I was like when I was drawing comics. When I was thinking, my mind was empty." Alice lowered his head to look at the white paper, and said indifferently.
"Are there many problems with the Cartoonist?"
William mocked her, but did not say anything more.
Alice sat there, her hands holding onto the brush tightly. Sitting here, she couldn't draw anything.
When she thought about how William fell in love with her, she became extremely annoyed.
No matter how she thought about it, she didn't know which advantage she had that William loved, and she felt like her head was about to explode. She even wanted to rush in front of him and yell: "Can you not be interested in me? I would change whatever you liked me."
The doorbell rang twice.
William picked up the vibrator on the table and pressed it. The door to the office automatically opened.noveldrama
A secretary walked in, holding a document in her hands. When she saw Alice, she was startled. But because of her professional qualities, she did not ask anything and only placed the document on William's table, "CEO, here is the information you requested."
"Yes."
William picked up the information and flipped through it.
"CEO, in ten minutes you and Director Field will have a lunch. The car is ready. Anything else?"
"It's gone. Get out."
William said, and immediately let her go.
"Yes, CEO."
The secretary couldn't help but look back at Alice as she walked, feeling depressed and frustrated. Why did the CEO bring a woman into the company?
Girlfriend?
Lover?
"What are you looking at? Do you think this is a zoo?" William felt the secretary's curious gaze and his face turned cold.
As his secretary, she shouldn't be looking around.
The secretary stood in a panic on the spot, "CEO, I..."
She had only taken an extra look.
"Go to the marketing department yourself. Don't stay in the secretary's office anymore." William said with a gloomy face.
"Yes, CEO."
The secretary hurriedly covered her face and left with tears.
Alice sat there and looked at the secretary's back.
William looked at Alice, "What, sympathize with her?"
"Nope." Alice honestly shook her head, "I just think that this secretary is stupid.
You are a person who tends to get angry, she still dare to peek around."
"You're saying I have a bad temper."
William said angrily.
"Nope."
"Even if my temper is bad, so what?" William admitted it self— righteously, "What can you do to me?"
Alice fell into a deep state of speechlessness. She took out her phone, looked at the time, and then stood up to pack her drawing.
"What are you doing?" William said.
"Pack things." Alice placed the drawing into a big bag and carried it on her shoulder. Then, she looked at William and said, "Aren't you going to have a lunch meeting right now? I don't want to stay here. I'll go out and look around and find something to eat."
After being trapped here for so long, she really wanted to leave.
"Who gave you permission to leave?"
William stood up from the table, and threw the bag in her hand onto the chair.
He never respected her drawings.
Alice frowned as she saw his barbaric actions, her delicate face filled with anger. "Then when you go out to eat, I want to eat as well, don't tell me you want me to stay here forever?" Is she really your dog? Do you think dogs should be allowed to walk around?
Did he want to keep her stuck here?
Hearing that, William was amused, the anger on his face dispersed. His smile was filled with charm, then he caressed her head and said, "I'll go out to walk around for you now."
"What?"
"I'm going to lunch. You wait for me in the car." William said.
Alice was startled, "Why?"
Why she has to wait for him at his meeting?
"Because I don't like the way you're trying so hard to leave me." William patted her head as a profound light flashed in his eyes, "Also, I want to see you the moment I finish what I need to do!"
In the last sentence, he said it very heavily, very tyrannically and authoritatively.
Alice looked at him in a daze.
I want to see you as soon as I'm done.
He used to tease her and scold her for being worthless. But after last night on the cruise, he didn't try to hide his interest in her anymore.
"Let's go."
William said as he grabbed her hand and left, not caring about her wishes at all.
Alice was forced to walk with heavy steps as she was dragged along by him. She could not help but ask, "Can't you consider my intentions?"
Since he liked her, shouldn't he respect her even more?
Hearing this, William stopped in his tracks and turned to look at her, his black eyes staring fixedly at her.
Time seemed to be about to stop.
After staring at him for a long time, Alice heard him say confidently, "I can take
that into consideration, but compared to what I want, yours is not important! It's not important at all!"
Alice looked at him speechlessly.
He was indeed a paranoia, and he was a terrifyingly arrogant paranoia.
William pulled her and quickly walked outside. His long legs moved extremely
fast, and Alice could only keep up with him by jogging.
Outside the luxurious hotel, a luxury car was parked in front of the door.
Alice sat on the back of the car, and she was so bored that she could only count her fingers.
William had already gone in for lunch, leaving her alone.
She suddenly understood that William really hadn't pressed her hard enough
before, and even gave her a life of freedom.
The current life could only be considered a true imprisonment.
He went to work, then she went with him; he went home, then she went with him;
he talked, and she had to stay in the car.
What did she count as to William? Girlfriend? No, it was more like what he said. She was one of his dogs, a pet dog. She had no time of her own.
She had lost her freedom mentally and physically. The way a paranoia man loved her was not something she could bear.
It wasn't love, but it was simply wanting to possess.
Alice sat inside the car, feeling even more stuffy, so stuffy that she couldn't even breathe. She opened the door and got off.
The driver anxiously got off the car and said, "Miss.Clyne, Mr. Cullen has ordered
that you
can't go anywhere."
"I'm just standing here to get some fresh air."
Alice said as she paced back and forth in front of the hotel, wasting every second
of her time waiting.
As her stomach emptied, hunger welled up.
She walked around the hotel for a long time before finally getting back into the car
and pulling her legs up and putting her hands on her stomach to resist the feeling
of fasting.
"Mr. Cullen, you're back."
The driver's voice came as he opened the car door for William.
"Yes."
William lazily replied as he sat down and threw a wooden box on Alice's lap.
Even with the lid, Alice could smell the fragrance of the food. She glanced at
William.
Alice opened the box and started to eat.
"Say thank you, otherwise you are not allowed to eat."
William said unhappily, the woman was not polite at all.
"Thank you."
Alice stiffly learned his words. For the sake of lunch, she endured it, lowering her
head and quickly stuffing the dishes into her mouth.
William sat beside her, and the more he looked at her, the more he loathed her,
"Can't you eat better? All is yours."
Did he think she's a bad eater?
Alice's eyes immediately lit up, and she began to eat even worse. Before she
could finish chewing it, she stuffed it into his mouth, stuffing it back into her mouth.
She looked at William as she stuffed it in her mouth, and her eyes widened. Look, look.
Seeing how ugly she looked, quickly lost interest in her.
William glared at her chewing lips. She could chew as uncultured as she possibly
could, and his brows were knitted tightly.
Seeing that, Alice started to eat even more wildly. After swallowing one mouthful,
she directly buried a big prawn into her mouth. The prawn was too big, so she
could only hold onto half of it.
It should be even uglier.
Alice continued to chew on William.
Her lips grew greasy, and the tail brushed her lips like a kiss.
William glared at her. He obviously despised her a lot, but he was actually envious
of the prawn. The golden prawn and her soft lips were intimately in contact,
stimulating his desire to monopolize her with all her might.
She was his.
Not a single one, not even a single shrimp.
His throat tightened, his black pupils deepened, and he suddenly leaned towards
her, taking a bite of the prawn tail that she had not yet eaten. The thin lip touched
her
lips.
Alice opened her eyes wide in shock.
What was going on?
Didn't he despise the way she ate? Why did he suddenly kiss? Which planet did
he resent it from?
William bit off the tail of the prawn, and continued to ravage and kiss her while holding onto her lips.
Alice gasped from the kiss, forcefully swallowing the prawn that was not fully chewed in her mouth.
William put his arm around her and kissed her. Suddenly, he let her go and
stretched his long arm out to snatch the box in her hands, then grabbed the chopsticks and started to eat.
He was going to get rid of the fact that stole the lips of a woman.
Alice looked at him in shock.
What do you think?
