Chapter 50
Compensation?
He used the word 'compensation'?
Alice Clyne looked at Patrick, who was in front of her, and suddenly felt that he was a little unfamiliar.
She had never wanted his apology, nor any compensation.
But it didn't matter now.
"It's all in the past now." Alice Clyne said indifferently, his hand holding onto the bottle, "Then I'll go first, you take care of your injuries."
She limped forward.
"What happened to your foot?" Patrick noticed that she was busy moving and frowned, "You came to see the doctor, I will accompany you."
"No need, I'll go by myself."
She was going to treat her foot. It was too painful, much worse than she had imagined.
Patrick ran a few steps and caught up, "I know the chief physician here, he's an expert in treating people like this, I'll accompany you!"
"There's really no need."
Alice Clyne rejected him once again, with a resolute and decisive tone, and she forcefully cut off his words.
Patrick wanted to support her but his hands froze in midair.
"Thank you for your kind intentions." Alice Clyne courteously, yet estranged said, "You are Mary's husband, and I am Mary's sister. I have also intertwined with you two like that before, this is not a good idea. "Don't worry, I'll find a doctor myself."
Patrick looked at her and his lips slightly moved. He wanted to say something, but couldn't say a single word.
"Goodbye."
She suddenly thought of something and turned around .He was looking at her with a complicated expression on his face.
She had never seen that kind of gaze in his eyes before, so she was stunned.
Patrick quickly withdrew his gaze and recovered his composure. He smiled at her, "What's wrong?"
Patrick looked at him strangely, then said: "I remember that you also graduated from New York University, do you know how to contact your university classmates?"
"The school always has information on graduates. Are you looking for someone?" Patrick asked.
"Right, I want to find a way to contact wondering if she would be able to obtain the information when she went to school.
Her notoriety is probably still in vogue.
The teachers should still be the same, probably hating her to the bone.
Patrick saw that she was in a difficult situation, and said gently, "I just happen to return to New York University to give a speech in a few days, if you're not in a hurry, why don't I help you get it?
Hearing that, Alice Clyne subconsciously wanted to reject.
But she was not sure if she could get the information, and she was not sure if William Cullen was purposely fawning on her, not giving her an answer. This could be the fastest way to obtain the information.
"Will it be too much trouble for you?" Alice Clyne looked at Patrick. The thought of freedom had the upper hand.
"A small matter." "Thank you." Alice Clyne said, "My classmate's name is Rosanna Tiffany, and her skills in the arts, I would like to know her contact method."
"Alright, I'll get it for you." Patrick nodded.
"Thank you, goodbye."
Alice Clyne lowered her head to him and turned to leave.
Patrick looked at her back which was getting further away, and the expression on his feminine face was somewhat complex, after a while, he leaned on the wall.
The wall was cold.
Patrick leaned his back against the wall and stared fixedly ahead, the light in his eyes gradually dimming down.
Thank you, thank you
She thanked him politely.
In the long corridor of the hospital, Alice Clyne walked while feeling pain, step by step, as if she was walking on a blade's edge.
"Hey!"
A voice sounded like it in debt sounded in the corridor, sounding sullen.
Alice Clyne raised her head and saw William Cullen standing a few meters away from him. Her entire body was filled with hostility and the expression on her face was unfathomable.
Why hasn't he left the hospital yet?
She was shocked, and the image of Brother Mike's face, which had been beaten black and blue surfaced in her mind. She reflexively looked back, but there was no one where Patrick was standing just a moment ago.
"What are you looking at?"
William Cullen walked over to her side and asked unhappily.
"Nothing."
Alice Clyne's attitude towards him was not good.
"What's with your attitude? Don't forget, about our relationship, I'm your superior
and you're my subordinate!" William Cullen reminded her again.
Alice Clyne ignored him and continued to drag her painful leg forward.
"My feet are swollen like pig's feet, yet I'm still running!"William Cullen glared at
her fiercely before taking a step forward and easily lifting her up on his shoulder.
"What are you doing? Put me down."
Alice Clyne hung from his body, dizzy.
Alice Clyne tyrannically carried her along the road, attracting a few curious gazes from the bystanders. Alice Clyne turned her head to the side in embarrassment, but he still openly carried her away.
He carried her all the way to the doctor's office.
The doctor and the two nurses stood there and looked at William Cullen, trembling.
William Cullen placed Alice Clyne on the chair, and looked at the doctor haughtily, "You can show it to her now."
"Yes, Mr. Cullen, I have prepared all the ingredients just now. Winding ankle is not
a big deal, let me take a look." The doctor hurriedly said as he squatted in front of Alice Clyne and humbly looked at her feet.
""
As Alice Clyne listened, she understood that William Cullen had left just now to find a doctor and prescribe medicine for her.
The doctor turned her leg, causing Alice Clyne to perspire in pain, "Pain, pain, doctor, please be gentle."
"Hey!" Can you do it? "William Cullen roared at the doctor on the ground, his eyes revealing a murderous light. "Do you believe that you can disappear from the world of doctors today?"
"Yes, yes, it's my fault, my fault. I'll be gentler." The doctor smiled apologetically again and again, as he noticed Alice Clyne's feet even more gently.
Alice Clyne pitied the doctor who was scolded to the point and his head was drenched, and she endured the pain.
William Cullen was even more dissatisfied, then he raised his leg and wanted to kick the doctor. "Look at how much she's enduring, you're clearly a quack doctor, find your Principal for me!"
The doctor was sweating profusely.
'Tm not in pain." Alice Clyne could not take it anymore, she looked at William
Cullen angrily, "Are you unable to control your fists and legs?
"Woman, why aren't you being tactful?" He was doing it for her own good.
"I don't need you to hit me anyway."
Alice Clyne said coldly, and turned her head.
"You ..."
Once again, William Cullen fumed and kicked the doctor. Instead, he kicked the two chairs beside him over, causing him to be unable to release his anger.
"Uh, miss, try your best not to get here these days. Just lie down."
The doctor explained as he carefully observed the interaction between the two of them. He expressed his admiration towards Alice Clyne, and this girl was so young, yet she actually dared to argue with someone like William Cullen.
She even seemed to have won the argument. Formidable.
After wrapping up, Alice Clyne was carried out of the hospital tyrannically.
On the way back to Port of Heaven, Alice Clyne didn't say a single word to William Cullen, but coldly looked out of the window, not even sparing him a glance, treating him as air.
Seeing that, William Cullen's chest started to burn uncontrollably.
Once he got off, Alice Clyne opened the door and got off. She was carried by Gong Ou all the way to the entrance of the apartment.
Once they entered the apartment, William Cullen carried her into the living room and placed her on the sofa. Just as he was about to speak, Alice Clyne stood up with a cold expression and jumped towards the study room.
Was she a spring?
He was immediately infuriated. He grabbed a armrest on the sofa and threw it at a vase. The crystal vase fell to the ground and a few branches fell to the ground in a sorry state.
Daniel caught up from behind and quietly went forward pick up the vase to clean up the mess.
"Is Alice Clyne trying to rebel? Do I have to see her now? William Cullen roared
angrily, "Daniel, pull her out and beat her!"
"Young master, the contract says that Miss Clyne is not to be beaten."
Otherwise, it would be considered a breach of contract.
"Then drag her out and scold it!! " William Cullen was so angry that he went and kicked the chair, the floor lamp, causing his entire body to burn, "Could it be that
she is waiting for me to apologize to her?"
He was just hitting someone!
Daniel stood at the side and upon hearing this, and he could not help but sigh, "Young Master, I have something that I'm not sure whether or not I should say."
"Speak!"
William Cullen said in annoyance.
"As far as I know, Miss Clyne has very few connections, and she could be considered to be relatively lonely. That editor of hers treats her pretty well, that's why she's so angry, right? She's angry at the husband who implicated herself with the editor." Daniel said calmly.
He had basically been there during the entire process, sitting on and watching from the sidelines.
William Cullen fell silent upon hearing this, She had a poor relationship with him and usually did not see her making a call throughout the entire day.
"And what about today, young master?" Daniel observed his expression, and
prolonged his sentence, "Yes, a little too much."
Beat a good man like that for no reason at all.
"Why are you leaning towards her?"William Cullen said in dissatisfaction, "Scram,
don't stand in my way!"noveldrama
"Yes. Young master."
Daniel did not say anything else and respectfully left.
He looked in the direction of the study, his thumb tracing across the thin lip, his eyes deep and black.
Did he really overdo it today?
So what if he was overdoing it? He is William Cullen .At most, he took the initiative
to talk to her.
Alice Clyne was sitting in her study room, quickly writing and painting the main character of the CEO on the Draw as malevolent as she could get beaten up by
others. She hid in a dark corner and cried secretly.her mood improved.
"Bang!" Bang! Bang! "Bam!"
A deafening sound of the door being knocked was heard.
Alice Clyne! Get out here for lunch! I didn't even eat breakfast!" He shouted as he
smashed the door.
Who did he blame for breakfast?
Who was the one who inexplicably pushed her out of the car, and who
inexplicably beat someone into the hospital?
Alice Clyne thought angrily, but did not open the door, and decided not to make
lunch.
"Alice Clyne, you better see the contract. What's the penalty if you don't cook for
me?"He said loudly.
A punishment for not cooking?
Alice Clyne opened a drawer and took out a contract from inside. Not long after,
he determined that cooking was a very
important thing, and on the third page, it was clearly written
[If Party B does not provide Party A with food, it will be deemed as having agreed
to not being able to get out of bed.]
Alice Clyne was speechless as she read this clause.
What.
What other punishment could this man have? She couldn't figure it out, but he
actually wrote something about SM.
He was really sick!
What do you think?
