My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley)

Chapter 113

Chapter 113

‘Sorry. If I could’ve calmed down, listened to your explanation back then, and believed that you never

betrayed me, perhaps my grandfather wouldn’t have had the accident while seeking

the truth.’

Bradley ran his fingers through Esther’s hair. The contrast between the dark strands and his porcelain-

like fingers was dazzling.

The hairdryer buzzed.

A deep sense of guilt surged in Bradley’s heart.

Esther had saved him when he was young-she was his lifesaver.

If he had known that Esther was his lifesaver back then during their marriage, would their relationship

have turned out differently and not fraught with conflict?

For the first time, Bradley blew dry a woman’s hair. With his lack of skill, he ended up creating

small tangles instead of making it smooth.

After using his fingers to untangle the knots, Bradley leaned closer to Esther, meticulously smoothing

out the tangled hair, strand by strand.

His profile was exceptionally handsome, while his attitude was strict and serious.

Through the ward’s glass door, Clark glanced at the two individuals inside, wishing that Bradley would

set aside his pride after this incident and engage in a calm and honest conversation with Esther to

resolve their unresolved past issues.

“Doctor,” said Clark © NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.

The psychologist, Xara Sandler, handed over her business card and spoke gently. “Mr. Clark, my

surname is Sandler.”

“Dr. Sandler, Madam… She…” Clark expressed his worries.

Xara glanced at Bradley inside the ward without revealing any emotions and said gently, “Her mental

state is very poor. If Mr. Warner’s willing to cooperate with her, perhaps psychological therapy can still

be effective. But if she continues being provoked, she may one day choose to

leave this world.”

Clark felt extreme heartache.

Esther had always been obedient and sensible, never becoming spoiled or willful despite being

showered with love from many people.

She had a kind heart. Whenever she received a monetary gift, she asked Thomas to donate it to

children in the mountainous areas. Even now, there were schools established in remote areas

in her name.

“Dr. Sandler, please save her,” asked Clark.

Xara said, “Mr. Clark, the person who can save her is not me but Bradley Warner. The sickness of the

heart requires the medicine of the heart. Only by unraveling her emotional knots can she fearlessly

embrace the rest of her life.”

“I’ll persuade Mr. Warner,” said Clark.

Xara nodded slightly and said calmly, “I have other patients to attend to. I’ll leave first. If Ms. Quill has

any questions, she can contact me anytime. My phone is available 24 hours.”

“Thank you.”

After seeing Xara off, Clark opened the door and entered the ward.

Bradley looked up, his eyes filled with a mysterious and enchanting allure. “Clark.”

Clark earnestly pleaded, “Mr. Bradley, can you save her?

“Act alongside her in the play, fulfill her dream… When the dream comes to an end, all the

truths will be revealed.”

By then, the fate of their relationship could be determined by both of them.

“I’m not a psychologist.” Bradley’s attitude was cold and distant, implying that he could not save her.

“Mr. Bradley, have you read the diary I gave you?” Clark took a deep breath. “You were her youth, the

dream she longed to fulfill. If you’re willing to cooperate, she’ll be able to leave the

darkness.”

Bradley responded apathetically, “What is fake will remain fake.”

“Mr. Bradley, her love for you is real,” Clark said softly. “Love can conquer all, even death.” Bradley’s icy

gaze fell on the unconscious Esther.
