Chapter 1547: Only
The answer, of course, was a resounding no.
Because there was simply no movie at all, she couldn't find any suitable content to show him.
Camille said, "A good movie doesn't need any extra scenes."
Ayan replied, "How can I empathize with you if I don't watch it?"
"You can't empathize with me," Camille said flatly.
Her tone caught Ayan's attention.
He asked, "Why are you so sure that I can't empathize?"
"Because you're a man, and men naturally can't see things from a woman's perspective."
"Then why was I able to before?" Ayan brought up the incident when he and Camille watched news about a celebrity together. Camille had said that sharing such gossip could allow him to provide a different perspective from a guy's point of view. Ayan had strongly supported the female victim and strongly disliked the male perpetrator.
So now, when Camille said he couldn't see things from a woman's perspective, Ayan naturally had a strong reaction.
Camille pursed her lips, unsure how to answer the question, because Ayan was referring to something that had indeed happened before.
As Camille was contemplating her response, Ayan's voice interrupted, "Why aren't you saying anything?"
"I don't want to talk about this anymore. I'm a bit tired, so let's go to bed early!" Camille said. This content belongs to Nô/velDra/ma.Org .
Camille reached out and loosened his grip around her waist, wanting to leave his embrace, but Ayan didn't give her the opportunity.
Ayan continued to hold her waist tightly and spoke in a low, hoarse voice, "Tired?"
"Yes."
Camille responded softly, but before she could finish her sentence, Ayan swiftly carried her towards the inside.
Camille let out a cry before she could say anything, and she was already thrown onto the bed. The man followed, their gazes locking as Ayan's kiss descended.
Camille was well aware of what was going to happen next. She hurriedly reached out to push him away, but at that moment, he stood like a boulder, unmoving. Camille reacted strongly, pushing Ayan's head away with her hand, and then tilting her own head to the side. Her movements were forceful, causing Ayan to immediately stop.
His deep eyes stared intensely at Camille as their gazes met. Camille whispered, "I'm really tired and not in the mood. I don't want to do it."
After finishing her words, Camille pushed Ayan away with her hand, signaling for him to get off.
Ayan didn't move, just stared at her without blinking. "Just don't want to?" he asked.
Is there no other reason?
Ayan didn't ask the final question out loud, but his eyes conveyed the message to Camille.
Camille softly responded, "Hmm, just don't want to."
After Camille spoke, Ayan didn't pursue further questions. He got off and lay down beside her, his hand gently resting on Camille's body. His intense gaze still fixed on her. Camille felt uncomfortable under his gaze and pulled the blanket over her eyes.
Ayan didn't uncover her; instead, his expression grew increasingly serious in the place she couldn't see.
Ayan remained silent, not hindering Camille's actions. Both of them maintained their unchanged positions throughout the night, creating an awkward state even while sleeping. However, they didn't suffer from insomnia and slept relatively well.
When Camille woke up the next day, she found no trace of Ayan beside her as usual. It was already past seven o'clock, so she got up, freshened up, and went downstairs.
Auntie saw Camille coming downstairs and quickly asked, "Camille, do you want to have breakfast now or later? I made fresh shrimp dumplings today, they taste delicious." As Auntie spoke, Camille's mouth began to water.
Camille hurriedly replied, "I'll have it now. I want some vegetables and just a few dumplings."
"Alright!" Auntie's mood brightened due to Camille's appetite. Auntie took care of breakfast and supper at home, while the main meals were usually prepared by Auntie and the chef together.
As Auntie headed to the kitchen, she said to Camille, "Ayan left without having breakfast today. Kian came to pick him up, and they both seemed in a hurry. I wonder if something happened."
Auntie's words brought a trace of worry to Camille's face, but she didn't call Ayan. She finished breakfast and went upstairs to change clothes and put on makeup.
Today, she had to go to the office. Staying alone at home was getting boring. When she was bored, she couldn't help but let her mind wander aimlessly. She didn't want to continue like this, so going to the office was the best solution.
Camille arrived at the office at nine in the morning.
Sienna had been coming early these past few days because the final tasks of the project were yet to be completed.
Seeing Camille now, Sienna's initial reaction was to scrutinize her with several glances and then ask, "What happened last night?"
Camille gently shook her head to indicate that nothing was wrong. Sienna, of course, didn't believe it. She looked at Camille and said, "I won't ask you what happened exactly. I just want to know if you had a fight."
"No, I promise we didn't fight," Camille replied.
"Okay, I believe you," Sienna said, reaching out and taking Camille's arm. She said, "Come on, I'll walk you to your office."
Sienna and Camille entered the office together. Sienna didn't ask any further questions. Instead, she said, "Do you want to have lunch together?"
Camille paused for a moment and looked at her, asking, "What do you want to eat?"
"I didn't know you were coming to the office, and you didn't tell me last

night. I won't hold that against et
you're feeling right now. Are you upset, annoyed, or something else?" Sienna stared at Camille, her eyes probing as if she wanted to fully
understand Camille's thoughts.
Camille didn't avoid her gaze. She let Sienna look, because her thoughts were already well-hidden in her heart and wouldn't reveal the slightest bit.
As for what happened last night, Camille still didn't know how to handle it. So she wanted to adjust her own emotions first before facing the matter because she hadn't received a satisfactory answer regarding its truth.
Camille remained expressionless,
causing Sienna to make a slight sound of disdain. Sienna said, "Camille, do you no longer consider me your best, best, best friend? Why do you have to hide things from me? I can understand if you want to keep some things hidden, even from your best friend, but can't you show me a little reaction?"
After all, keeping some things hidden was normal. Even though they were best friends, there were some things one didn't want to face, let alone say out loud. So Sienna could understand that. However, she couldn't accept Camille's current demeanor, acting as if nothing was wrong at all.
