Man With Super Medical Skill (Matthew)

Chapter 3535 Deathcarver Defeated

The twin blades in Deathcarver's hands, once crossed in an X, now lay shattered in two halves. Clutching the hilts tightly, he stared at the broken blades scattered across the arena floor. His eyes reflected confusion and disbelief.

"This... How is this possible?"

For over thirty years, Deathcarver had honed his blade art through relentless practice enduring the bitter cold of winter and the sweltering heat of summer. He had devoted his entire life to mastering the technique. Yet now, he had been defeated by someone who had seemingly just begun to wield the blade.

"I told you-frenzy is about dominance. But your heart is filled with hesitation. How could you possibly unleash the true madness of blade arts?"

Dressed in white, Matthew stood composedly in the center of the Death Arena while Deathcarver-the man everyone had placed their hopes on-knelt before him like a defeated warrior. Moments ago, the crowd had roared with cries to see Matteo Larden cut down. But now, it was as if a resounding slap had struck them all into silence.

Not a single voice broke the stillness. Even Dahlia, who had stood to the side of the arena, appeared momentarily stunned. But she quickly regained her composure and announced loudly, "The winner is Matteo Larden!"

Her words snapped the spectators back to their senses.

"Deathcarver actually lost to this Matteo?!"

"And in a blade duel, no less-he was completely overpowered!"

"Who the hell is this Matteo Larden? How does he possess such terrifying strength?"noveldrama

"D*mn that Deathcarver! My 100 thousand Dornia Emeralds are gone!"

The gamblers who had wagered large sums on Deathcarver now glared at him with bloodshot eyes. If not for the presence of Matteo, they might have already rushed forward to tear Deathcarver apart in their rage.

Matthew said nothing more. He simply turned and stepped off the arena, heading toward the elevator. Garrett and Lenny had already taken the elevator up moments ago, and Matthew intended to return as well.

Deathcarver watched Matthew's retreating figure in silence, then bent down to pick up the broken hilts of his blades. Glancing at the agitated gamblers, he let out

a low, mocking laugh before rising to his feet. His voice, hoarse yet filled with killing intent, echoed through the arena.

"No firearms are permitted on the fifth floor. If any of you want to try your luck in hand-to-hand combat, come on up."

His chilling words sent a shiver down the spines of the gamblers, instantly quelling their fury.

If Matteo could toy with Deathcarver, then Deathcarver could just as easily toy with them.

Casting a disdainful glance at the crowd, Deathcarver turned and walked toward the elevator without another word.

...

Inside a spacious cabin-the private quarters of Shaun, the man who held authority above all others aboard the Carnage Cruise-one of his subordinates rushed in t@deliver the news.

"Boss, the fight between Matteo Larden and Deathcarver is over," he reported.

Shaun leaned back lazily, a faint smirk playing at his lips. "So, how many pieces did Deathcarver cut that Matteo into?"

The subordinate hesitated, his expression uneasy. "He... he wasn't cut into pieces."

Shaun's eyes flickered with surprise before curiosity replaced the shock. "Is that so? Looks like that guy's got some skill. No matter-bring me his corpse. I want to see it for myself."

"There... there is no corpse."

The subordinate's words made Shaun's gaze turn icy. His voice dropped into a chilling growl. "Didn't I tell you to bring his body the

the hell didn't you say there was no body right away? Who took the corpse?"

"H-He didn't die!"

"What did you say?"

Shaun shot to his feet, seizing the subordinate by the collar with one hand. The sheer force of his grip made the man's breath hitch.

"You've been standing here babbling for half a d*mn minute, and now you tell me he's not dead? Are you asking to die?"

The suffocating killing intent in Shaun's voice made the subordinate tremble involuntarily.

"B-Boss, you told us only to answer what you ask! If you don't ask, we're supposed to keep our mouths shut!"
