Love The Roommate

Chapter 2

Chapter 2

“This can’t be! I can’t live with a boy!” I panicked, going to the bed to set on, as I didn’t feel my legs. I was literally ruined.

“Why?” The hot boys asked as he sat in front me on his bed.

His? Oh my God! This bed is his! This bed is freaking his! I am going to sleep with a boy in the same room! I won’t survive this, not only is he a boy but a hot one too.

Ugh! This is not the time to drool over a hot boy, Jessy. I scolded myself.

“Why?! You are asking me why?! Then you don’t mind the idea of us sharing the same room. Ugh! Of course, you don’t mind. All of you boys are the same!” I face palmed myself as I said with disgust.

How didn’t I realize it already? Of course, he is the same.

Hot boy, with good looks and body. Of course, arrogant too. And a man whore, that’s for sure.

“Same?” He frowned. But then he spoke again before I would have the chance to give him a big lecture about boys and how dick-headed they are.

“Look, I don’t know what happened. I thought I would be sharing a room with a dude and not a girl. But we don’t have another solution to the problem other than accepting it.” He said.

“Accepting it?! Are you crazy?! My dad will literally freak out if he knew I am sharing a room with a boy! And my brother! Oh my, my brother will be so angry! He and dad will come all way here and try to change rooms and it won’t succeed, and then the college will kick me out because we disturbed their time about such ridiculous thing! And I can’t be kicked out! This is my dream! I finally arrived! I can’t! No, no, no, this can’t be-” I had stood up and was packing the room back and forth, muttering to myself, and slightly pulling on my hair.

“Whoa, Whoa! Calm down, crazy lady!” The hot guy said, standing up quickly and coming towards me. But I didn’t really pay attention.

Until he grabbed my hands and removed them from around my hair.

“Calm down, okay? Don’t pull your hair,” he said, sitting me down on my bed and sitting beside me.

I slightly nodded, two main ideas running in my head at the moment.

First, He is setting on my bed beside me.

And second, my dad and brother will literally kill him and me.

Well, maybe not me.

“I don’t really know what to do, I don’t think it would be a good idea to go report it and waist our time.” He said.

“But my dad and brother-”

“Don’t tell them if you are certain that they won’t like the idea.” He cut me off.

“But- what if they find out?”

“That’s a possibility, but until then you would have ideas on how exactly to tell them.” He shrugged.

“Besides, don’t worry. I will be gone most of the day. You won’t see me that much.” He added.

“Really?” I asked hesitantly.

“Yeah, I will be training and I don’t really love studying inside. I will only be here at night. Nothing else.” He assured me.

“But that would be so unfair in your side. I mean, it’s your room as well.” I said, almost freaking out again.

“I don’t understand you. You were freaking out that you will be staying in a room alone with boy and now you are freaking out of it being unfair for me. What are you?” He said, chuckling and giving me a curious look.

My cheeks heated up at the curious, tense look he was giving me.

“Um- I was just saying. I don’t want to make it hard for you because I can’t stand the idea of me sharing a room with a boy.” I said, looking away.

He chuckled, making me look back at him.

“Nah, don’t worry. I would be out of the room most of the time even if I was sharing the room with a guy. No worries.” He assured me yet again.

I nodded, smiling at him.

“Thank you for understanding. I appreciate it.” I said, still smiling.

“Don’t mention it.” He said, waving his hand and smiling back at me.

There was a moment of silence, just us staring at each other.

“Well, I should be unpacking.” He stood up, glanced at me, and then went to his luggage. Which were quite a lot. Five bags.

He started opening the biggest bag among them, which had a lot of clothes in it.

“Um- you want me to help you with that?” I asked, really wanting to help as he had a lot to unpack.

He glanced at me then smiled. “Nah, it’s okay. I will do it; I have to know where I will be putting stuff anyway. Thanks for offering, though.”

I smiled back, and looked around, trying to find something to occupy myself with but to no avail.

I took off my shoes, massaging my legs. I can’t believe I unpacked while wearing it.

After a second of massaging my poor legs, I lied down on bed, staring at the ceiling again.

I stayed like that for a while, thinking about how the day turned out to be. So unexpected. I really didn’t expect myself to be with a nice roommate. But I certainly didn’t expect myself to be roommates with a nice boy. A freaking nice hot boy. How am I going to survive this?! Oh God, I can’t believe it!

I grabbed one of the fluffy white pillows under my head and put it on my face. Trying not to start screaming out loud out of frustration.

After a second of these Ins and outs, I felt this twinkling in my eyes. I always got that sensation whenever someone is watching me.

I slightly pushed the pillow away, and peaked at my surroundings.

There he stood, the hot guy that I still don’t know his name. He had his arms crossed in front of his chest, leaning on his desk and giving me an amused look.

My cheeks burned with heat, and I covered my face so he wouldn’t see it.

“What?” My voice came muffled by the pillow.

“You really are a cute one, you know that?” I heard the smile in his face.

My cheeks burned even more, if that’s even possible.

“Shut up,” I mumbled, but somehow he heard me. As he responded by chuckling.

“I still don’t know your name, you know? I really don’t expect not to see you most of the day and also not knowing your name too, right roommate?” He asked, empathizing the word roommate.

I pushed the pillow away, and crossed my arms as well. “I don’t know your name either.”

“Fair enough. I am Alexander. But call me Alex. My friends call me that.” He said. Wow, even his name is sexy!

“Friends? But I am not your friend.” I said, frowning.

“Oh but you are. We will be living together. How wouldn’t we be friends?” He grinned.

“You have got a point.” I said sheepishly.

“Also your name is good. My brother’s name is also Alexander. But we call him Alec.” I said, to which Alex nodded to, smiling.

“Aren’t you going to tell me your name or what, crazy lady?” Alex joked and I laughed and he soon joined me. Of course, I was acting crazy. That’s what I do when I panic.

“Yeah, sorry about that. I tend to think much of the possibilities.” I said, still chuckling. I get frustrated when dad does it, but to be honest, it’s a habit that I inherited from him.

“Yeah, I noticed that.” Alex chuckled.

“And oh yeah, my name is Jasmine. But call me Jessy.” I smiled.

“Pretty name, Jessy.” Alex smiled back at me. Content © provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

My cheeks heated again.

And the same idea ran through my head yet again.

How am I going to survive this year?
