KING MICAH: World Beyond The Ruins

Chapter 10

MICAH’S POV

We’ve being running for a day now, nonstop and i could feel the venom of the witches snake bite spreading through my body and it is already weakening me.

“Let’s rest for the day’ i said to my men through mind link and their pace slowed down to a joggle before the stopped around me ans started shifting into their human forms.

The bag that was strapped to my side in my wolf form suddenly became slack as u transformed to my human.

I sat down underneath a tree and picked up the bag that held the medicine Diana gave to me yesterday abd brought out the small jar that contained the brown portion that would slow down the poison from spreading throughout my body.

I opened the lid and the strong smell of the portion made my nose itch and my eyes water. I hissed in pain as I applied directly on the unhealed wound, tilting my head backward so it would rest on the tree.

After a few minutes, the pain subside and it felt like I could finally breath again. I looked down to my chest to see that the black vains had reduced, going back to the wound.

My white hair clinched to my sweaty forehead. I closed my eyes and take in a deep breath before opening them again.

I looked around to see that my men had settled around, some were clothed while other like me were still bare.

Being naked in front of each other is nothing to be ashamed of unlike humans who would shy away from each other.

I smirked as I remembered how my human had had attempted to covered herself from me. My dick twitched at the thought of how it would feel to be pressed in between her ass cheek.

I knew my men were looking at me because they could smell the arousal that slipped out of me but I paid no mind to them.

“Damien!” I called out to wolf who had carried my bag that had my clothes in and he stumbled towards me and handed it to me.

I brought out a black jean trouser and put it on, not bothering on putting on underwear because I knew I would still be taking them off soon.

I dusted an invincible dirt from my trouser and then tied my long hair into a man bun. I struggled on the rocks against my bare foot before finding my footing.

As I walked further from the group, my Gamma jogged up to be before walking next to me. I turned my head towards him and raised my white brow, my steps not flattering once.

“I can’t let you go out of the pack alone Sire” He shrugged answering my unasked question.

I chuckled at that. Even in my weaken state, we both knew that if anyone enemy was to attack, I would be the one protecting him.

I could hear the sound of running water and my throat immediately became dry from running a whole day without water.

“Tell the pack,” I mumbled to Ayo knowing he could hear it to. “They’ll be needing the water too”

Gamma Ayo nodded and his brown eyes instantly turned a golden color signaling that he was mind linking with the others.

We got there and I tugged my jean up before squatting down and cupping the stream water with my eyes closed and bring it to my lips. It trailed down from my lips, chin and down my chest.

My ears twitched and my eyes snapped open. I leaped towards Ayomide who was about three feet from me and pushed him out of the way.

Blood trailed down the side of my neck from where the sharp edge of an arrow had scraped, barely missing my neck.

The hair at the back of my neck stood up and I knew we weren’t alone.

Ayo’s eyes were wide and I quickly got up and that was a big mistake. Two arrow came flying through the air and one pierced through his chest and the other in his right eyes.

My eyes twitched in irritation and I wondered who made him Gamma.

Oh right. Me.

I crouched on all four, waiting, waiting for my preys to come out from where they were hiding. I took in a long sniff of the air, trying to identify their scent but i just couldn’t place my finger on it.

It is something I know, something familiar but I just couldn’t get it.

Another arrow came flying through the air again but before I could see I, I heard it and I moved to side and the arrow buried itself deep in the sand.

A smirked formed on my lip because I already knew where they were and  I ran with full speed, extendeding my claws as I climbed the tree and pulled at it’s brown tail.

The others started squeaking as they swing away and I almost rolled my eyes. Goblins were always known to put themselves first not caring about the others.

“Let me go!” He yelled, scratching at my hand that was wrapped around his neck. His face was turning green and I almost laughed at him comical he looked right now.

“Who sent you?” I asked, tightening my hold around his slender neck.

He stopped trashing and looked me me mischievously, his big brown eyes dancing with amusement and I almost snapped his neck right there but I needed answers.

“Oh, we don’t need anyone sending us,” He laughed like what I said was funny and I furrow my brows and my lips forming a sneer.

He wiped a tear from his eyes and continued. “We are only protecting what’s our!” He screamed, extending his brown claws but before it could claw at my face, I grabbed him arm and twisted it and he cried out as it snapped into two. Literally.

“Yours?” I asked and he glared at me.

“Yes! Ours! Ours! You stand in our territory!” He screamed and cried at the same time.

I laughed, throwing my head backward at his words. “This land belongs to me” I spat at it’s face.

“Not anymore it won’t” he laughed. “She will destroy you. She will help us get back what you took” He added and continued laughing like a maniac.

My men came, some dragging goblins by their thin white hair towards me. I had enough of the madgoblin that I had pressed against a trees.Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g

I moved my face closer to him and whispered. “This land always and will always belong to me” and with that, I took one of his arrows and sent it straight to his skull.

Now, we have enough food for the journey.
