Chapter 99 You Are Not Worthy 1
Eudora frowned, not understanding why Colbert denied it.
"You're not worthy."
The man raised his cold eyes. His eyes were indifferent.
The indifferent attitude once made Eudora suspect. Could it not be him yesterday?
But if it weren't for him, where did the injury on the back of his hand come from?
After speaking, Colbert got up and walked out of the ward with a cold face.
Corey was waiting outside. He closed the door of the ward and left behind Colbert.
Corey glanced back at the ward where Eudora was, puzzled. "Mr. Steele, you saved Ms. Stanford. Why
didn't you admit it?"
When Corey rushed to the scene and saw Colbert walking out of the fire with Eudora in his arms, he
was utterly stunned.
He was so shocked and opened his mouth in astonishment. He could stuff an egg in his mouth.
In his memory, Colbert would never take risks for anyone!
After Corey finished speaking, Colbert paused, turning his head to stare at Corey.
The sharp eyes gave Corey a chill. He couldn't help swallowing.
"This matter is over."
It meant never mentioning it again.
After saying that, Colbert went straight to Belinda's ward.
Corey watched Colbert's back and understood instantly that Colbert didn't want to admit his feelings for
Eudora.
Or maybe, the self-proclaimed arrogant Colbert couldn't accept that he fell in love with an ugly and
mediocre country girl!
Colbert entered the ward, and Belinda was lying on the bed. She was having an intravenous drip.
Seeing Colbert was wounded and wrapped in gauze, she asked, "What happened? Your hand is
injured."
"I accidentally got burned."
Colbert replied casually.
"You are a grownup. How could you still hurt yourself?" NôvelDrama.Org owns all content.
Belinda sighed, looked up at the drip, and asked, "How long do I need to stay in the hospital?"
"The blood clot in the brain has not been absorbed. You will be hospitalized for a while."
"Where's Eudora? She said she would come to see me. Why didn't she come?"
When mentioning Eudora, Belinda's scrutinizing eyes fell on Colbert. "Did you do something wrong to
drive her away?"
Colbert's face darkened. He was helpless.
"Alva is gone too," he said.
He meant he also let Alva leave. Why didn't Belinda care?
