His Unveiled Passion

Stephen must have arranged for someone to send the clothes over that morning. He had always been attentive to such details.

When she was done showering, she came out to find Stephen sitting by the window, working on his laptop.

Seeing her emerge from the bathroom, Stephen closed his laptop and walked over. He held Tessa's hand and led her toward the couch. Then, without missing a beat, he picked up the hairdryer and began blow-drying her hair.

Sunlight streamed in through the windows, flooding the spacious room with natural light.

Stephen's room was on the second floor, so if they looked out of the floor-to- ceiling window, they could see the gardens below filled with fresh flowers.

It was midsummer now. The flowers were blooming in vibrant colors, while butterflies fluttered around them with the wind. It was like a scene straight out of a painting.

After drying Tessa's hair, Stephen brought her downstairs for lunch.

When they arrived at the dining room, the table was already set with different dishes. The food had just been prepared, and hot steam was still rising. All the dishes prepared were her favorite foods.

After they finished eating, Stephen asked, "Tess, did something happen yesterday? Why did you go to a bar and drink so much?"

Tessa's eyes flickered as she lowered her head.

After a moment of silence, she sighed and said, "My dad found out that we got back together. He told me to break up with you when I went home yesterday."

Stephen's gaze flickered as his eyes turned cold. His voice held an unnoticeable hint of apprehension as he asked, "Tess, what did you tell him?"

"I told him I wouldn't break up with you," Tessa said determinedly,

Then, she looked at Stephen with an unwavering gaze. "Stephen, I don't want to break up with you. You're the only one in my heart, and you're the only one I want. I don't want anyone else."

The anxiety Stephen felt moments ago immediately vanished after hearing what she had said.

Stephen's gaze softened, and he reached out to hold Tessa's hand. "Tess, don't worry. We're not breaking up again."

His warm and strong hands gave her an inexplicable sense of ease, and she hummed in agreement.

Then, he said, "Leave this to me. You don't need to worry about it. I'll talk to your dad."

Worry filled Tessa's gaze. "My dad currently has a big problem with you and your family. I'm worried you'll—"

"It's alright. I understand. I'll handle this, so don't worry and just trust me," Stephen answered gently.

"Alright."

At that moment, Tessa's phone rang. She picked up her phone and noticed it was Jasmine calling. She quickly answered. "Jasmine? Is everything alright?"

"Tessa, where are you? Are you home?" Jasmine asked with concern.

"Yes, I'm home. What about you and Molly?" Tessa suddenly remembered that Molly and Jasmine had accompanied her for drinks last night. She had completely forgotten to check in on them.

She didn't even know how they had gotten home, or whether they were safe.

Jasmine answered, "Molly and I

woke up a hotel with our clothes intact. We asked the receptionist and discovered that we're in a hotel under Jacobson Corporation. It's amazing, Tessa.

"I've never stayed in such a luxurious hotel before. We're in a five-star hotel, staying in an executive suite. We even have a view of the city!

"Molly and were shocked when we woke up. The bed was so big, and it was so soft and comfy. I've never slept in such a luxurious bed in my life. These five-star hotels are on a completely different level." noveldrama

Jasmine continued, "We were only able to stay in such a luxurious place thanks to

you. Mr. Jacobson's people must have brought us here."

Tessa felt relieved after hearing Jasmine's words. As long as nothing bad happened, she was relieved.

Jasmine was still on the phone, praising how impressive the executive suite of a five-star hotel was.

Smiling, Tessa said, "Then, enjoy it while you can."

"I'm going to take a bath in the huge bathtub. I'll even make it a bubble bath and

add some rose petals in!" Jasmine exclaimed excitedly.

Suddenly, she lowered her voice and asked, "Would they charge us extra for that bath?"

"Don't worry. Just enjoy the place however you like. Have you had lunch? If you haven't had lunch, I'll have e the hotel send some food up for you two. You can enjoy the food at a proper five-star hotel.

"Everything will be on me. Consider it a treat to thank you both for drinking with

me and keeping me company last night."

Jasmine was overwhelmed with joy as she exclaimed, "Tessa, you're the best! I love you so much!"

Then, Jasmine proceeded to blow kisses over the phone.

Smiling, Tessa said, "Alright, that's enough now. Don't be so cheesy. You can enjoy your bubble bath and luxurious meal instead."

"Alright! Bye, Tessa! I love you!"
