Chapter 0063
But that was in the past, and this was the present when he realized that the way his mother and sister was treating Amara was just plain wrong.
And to think that Amara had endured this same behavior for the past six years. It made him feel a moment of pity for Amara.
"My decision stands. Fiona, you're grounded for a week, and mother," He turned to his mother who was visibly disappointed. "Don't try and help Fiona, her punishment would only increase if you do."
With that said, he turned and walked away. As he exited the doors of his house, Tobias had the urge to call Amara and apologize for what Fiona had said.
He pulled out his phone and fiddled with it for a little while, unsure if he should follow the urge.
By the time he had made up his mind to do so, another call had come in, interrupting his previous action.
He unconsciously frowned when he caught sight of the number written across his phone's screen and identified it as Celestine's agents.
With a sigh, he pressed the accept button and lifted the device to his ear.
"Yes,"
"Mr. Larsen, Celestine's currently at the hospital, we're not sure if you got the message but she fainted on a job and now the doctors have her on watch."
Tobias's expression morphed into a frown. "Why didn't you tell me sooner?"
"I apologize, Sir."
Tobias sighed. "What hospital is she at?"
"We'll send you the location."
"Good, I'll head there as soon as possible."
As soon as Tobias stepped out of the car, Austin, Celestine's agent, rushed to meet him.
"Mr. Larsen," He greeted.
"How is she?"
"The doctor said she was getting better. She only fainted because the diet she had to go on for this job was a bit intense and didn't match her usual health, so she collapsed from exhaustion." "I see, where is she?"
"Right this way, Sir." Austin guided him towards the room Celestine was in.
When they got there, the female was awake, sitting up on the bed and looking out the window.NôvelDrama.Org owns this text.
"Celestine," Tobias called, catching her attention.
"Tobias!" A smiled painted her entire expression when she caught sight of the male. "I didn't expect to see you here."
Tobias approached the bed and sat on the stood beside her. "Austin informed me about what happened. Why would you take on such a job?"
Celestine's expression fell and she lowered her head. "Because it's the only job I could find." She muttered pitifully.
"What did you say?"
Her hands which were folded in her lap, clutched at her gown.
"No one wants me anymore. All my clients and contacts have all disappeared because..." She pretended like she couldn't say the next words, feigning hurt.
"All because of a certain someone. As if those nasty rumors weren't enough, she's now trying to

completely ruin Celestine's career." Austin scoffed. "Who does she think shes, some heroine deserving of a revenge plot?"
Tobias didn't need to have two brains to know who Austin was hinting at.
"Austin, please don't say that," Celestine requested. "Amara has nothing to do with this, and even if. she does She smiled wistfully. "I' willingly take her anger, after all, I'm only in this because I couldn't stop myself from loving Toby." She

sympathy.
And that she gained.
Perhaps it was because his
relationship with Celestine started as far back as high school, or maybe it was because Celestine had been going through hardship, suffering the wrath of his grandfather and now Amara's all because of his, Tobias couldn't help but pity her.
"Quit that job," He instructed.
"But-"
"I'll find other jobs for you, I'll handle everything else, just quit that job."
A weak smile spread across her face. "For real?"
Tobias nodded and in seconds, Celestine had flung herself into his arms, wrapping her arms around him and hugging him tight. "Thank you so much Toby!"
"Anytime." Tobias said and wanted to hug her back, but for the first time ever, it didn't feel right, so he settled for a simple nod.
While both of them were engrossed in worlds of their own, Melanie who happened to come in for a check up, happened to pass by the open door and witness the scene.
She felt annoyed by the scene and without thinking, pulled out her phone, snapped a picture and sent it to Amara with hesitation.
