Twenty-Three
Lola looked down at the address worrying, her lower lip. This was going to be a drive, and she wasn’t looking forward to it. Being trapped in such a small space with Merrow for that time had her nerves on edge. This is property © of NôvelDrama.Org.
“Are you ready?” Merrow asked as he leaned against the door frame, his eyes drinking her in. Making her shiver at the thought of being alone with him.
“Yeah, it looks like I’ll be driving. I think you’ll enjoy it though.” Lola said with a sigh as she leaned over, pulling out her cell phone to type in the address.
“Why is that, ghra?” Merrow said as he bit his lower lip, crossing his arms over her chest to keep from going closer and touching her.
“We’ll be going in a car and I’ve yet to meet a man that doesn’t love to ride in my jeep.”
“I don’t know what that means, but I do look forward to spending time alone with you.” Merrow said, his voice husky as he watched the way her legs moved when she crossed them.
Glancing up, Lola looked at him. His eyes glued to her bare legs. She sat the phone down on the bed and moved to stand up, stretching her arms over her head. As his eyes slowly dragged up her legs, taking in the swell of her hips, lingering over her pert breast.
His teeth sank deeper into his full lip as she arched her back. Finally, his gaze met hers. He felt his cock stirring to life as he realized that she had stuck her chest on purpose. Letting him take in his fill of the sight of her. He could play that game, if that’s how she wanted things to go.
Lola slowly lowered her arms as she stepped closer to him. “Are you ready to go?” She asked as she looked up at him through lowered lashes.
Merrow stepped closer to her. His hands moving to her hips as his thumbs moved over the strip of exposed skin that was left bare after her shirt had ridden up. “I’m alway up to go a round with you.”
His voice was husky and made Lola shiver as arousal coursed through her.
“We should get our shoes on then.” Lola said as she brought her hands up, resting them on his biceps. Squeezing the muscles through the black shirt that he wore, she had finally got them into real clothing.
Her face heated up as she thought about shopping with them. The images of the men shirtless and moving about the shop as she and the salesgirl had followed them around, flustered and red faced. It was seared into her memory.
It didn’t come close to the embarrassment she felt when they passed the lingerie shop. Lu had seemed particularly interested in that store, as had Bodach.
Lu had taken an interest in the sheer white fabrics, his eyes meeting hers as the top of his ears turned red. His eyes glassy as he stammered the words, “T, t, this one,” pointed to one that left little to the imagination.
“No, this one would be more fitting.” Bodach said as he stepped closer holding up a black lace number as he pressed it against her body making her shiver.
“I’d prefer to see her in nothing at all,” Puca had whispered in her ear, his lips touching the tender shell of her ear, making her shiver in anticipation.
“Aye, those could be pleasing. I’d rather see her spread out for me with nothing in my way.” Merrow said as he stood beside her.
“What are you thinking of?” Merrow asked as he hooked his finger under her chin, pulling her attention back to the present.
“Yesterday.”
“What about yesterday?” He asked as he trailed his thumb over her jaw and Lola felt her breath catch in her throat. “Was it dressing me up any way you wanted too?”
“Yes, and then after.”
“I wonder when you can return the favor?” His lips twitched into a smile as he trailed his fingers over her neck, his lips coming closer to hers.
“Are you leaving yet?” Bodach asked from the doorway, startling Lola.
“Soon,” Merrow whispered.
Lola had the feeling that he wasn’t talking about leaving as he traced his thumb over her lips. She closed her eyes, trying to get her racing heart under control as she turned to peer over at the other man.
“Just need to get my shoes on and then we’ll head out.” Lola smiled as she stepped out of Merrow’s grasp and walked around Bodach.
His hand darted out and, catching her wrist, and pulling her closer, “Careful with that one, acushla.”
“Huh?”
Lola looked at the hand on her wrist, his grip loosening as she looked up at him. “Just telling you, Merrow plays for keeps. Once your his, he won’t want to let you go.”
“I think I’ll be okay,” Lola replied as Bodach’s hand moved up her arm, his fingertips gently caressing her skin.
“I have no doubts about that, just a fair warning.” He said, tucking a lock of hair behind her ear.
“Thank you,” Lola whispered as she stepped away from him and his hand slipped from her wrist.
“Warning her away?”
“Never said I was. Just returning the favor.” Bodach’s grin deepened as he stepped closer to the merman. “I remember how you used to leave them.”
“None of them ever complained.” Merrow said as he took a step closer to Bodach, looking up into his eyes. “Neither did you.”
“I’ve never been too picky about who I give pain to. Pleasure either.”
“Aye.” Merrow agreed as he thought about the feelings that Bodach was trying to stir to life in him. They were dangerous feelings to have around Lola. He didn’t think she could handle a rough tumble.
“Merrow, are you ready?” Lola called out, pulling the two men away as she moved back into the bedroom. Grabbing her purse and her cell phone. She looked up at both men. She could feel the heat in their interaction.
See the challenge shining in Bodach’s eyes as he looked at Merrow, who was looking at her.
“Aye.” Merrow said as he straightened his shirt.
“Sure you two don’t need a moment?” Raising an eyebrow as the words slipped from her lips, she covered her mouth with her hand.
“I like this side of you, acushla.” Bodach said as his gaze moved to her and she couldn’t help but shiver. “Have fun, but know that my turn with you is coming.”
Lola bit her lower lip and nodded up at him, heart hammering in her chest at his words. Merrow stepped closer, grabbing her hand, lacing their fingers together as he pulled her closer to him. “She will, I’ll make sure that she enjoys herself.” Merrow’s voice was low. She didn’t know if she should be anxious or thrilled at his words.
Lola couldn’t help but feel that the day might not go as she had planned. She didn’t think that would be a bad thing, she just hope she got her job done.
