Her Fae Lovers

Nine

Lola placed a pan over the open flame with a bit of butter stepping over to the toaster she added bread to it. Moving back to the pan to give it a swirl. The steady thwack, thwack of Lu chopping the chives at the counter was soothing as she moved about the kitchen.

The toast popped up and Lola grabbed it from the toaster, moving it between her hands as she grabbed a plate.

“What magic is that?”

“The toaster?” Lola asked.

“Toaster.” Lu repeated, watching as Lola added more slices to the slim silver device and pressing the little lever.

He did the next round, picking up the toasted bread and studying it closely. He grabbed two slices and add them to it, moving closer to watch as it went down and the coils inside of the device turning orange.

Lola smiled to herself as she added the eggs to the pan before dumping the chives in. She stirred the eggs until they were fluffy. The smell making her mouth water, she glanced over at Lu, “Would you mind grabbing the plates with the toast for me?”NôvelDrama.Org owns © this.

With a nod, he picked up the plate with the neatly stacked toast and moved over to her.

Lola nodded her head in thanks as she turned off the burner and started plating out their breakfast. She stacked plates in Lu’s arms before moving to the coffee and getting it setup into a carafe. She took it to the living room, before scurrying back to the kitchen to grab the plates that Lu missed.

“Breakfast is served,” Lola said as she and Lu walked into the living room. She handed a plate with scrambled eggs and toast to Merrow, as Lu did the same to Bodach. The carafe of coffee sat in the middle of the coffee table as they all sat down to eat.

“Smells mouth watering, acushla” Bodach said as he leaned over his plate, his eyes not on the food but on Lola, making her shiver at the tone of his voice.

“Thanks, Lu and I worked great together.” Lola said, glancing at the man beside her.

“Aye, we do make a good team.” His green eyes sparkled in the morning light as he handed her a cup of coffee. Lola’s fingers brushed against Lu’s and the familiar sparks washed over her, making her suck in a breath.

Lola picked up her fork and took a bit of her eggs, glancing over at Puca who was still asleep. The morning light bringing out the red tones in his long hair. “Should we wake him?” She asked, looking at the men that sat around her small coffee table.

“Only if you want to fight or rut?” Bodach said with a dark smile. He wasn’t keen on sharing her just yet, but he could only imagine how she would look pinned beneath Puca’s body. Her eyes sparkling with shock, maybe even lust as the other man’s hardness pressed against her.

Would she roll her hips into him, or shy away from his touch?

Bodach shifted uncomfortably as his cock hardened. He bit his lower lip, trying to fight back a moan as she looked up at him.

“What do you mean?” Her innocent question made him groan.

“Puca wakes up ready to take anyone to his bed.” Bodach said, his lip twitching as he slowly blinked.

“Oh? Oh. I guess we should let him rest then.” Lola said, the tops of her cheeks heating with a blush as she looked down at her coffee.

Glancing down at the black liquid, Lola didn’t see the wide grin that spread across Bodach’s face as he sat back. Merrow did, and he realized that he and Puca would have to act fast if they wanted a chance to be with the enchanting young woman.

Lu looked at Lola, he wondered if she knew that her innocence drew them in like moths to a flame?

That mixed with the fire that he could see lurking in the depths of her eyes made him hunger for her. He knew the others felt the same, just by the quiet conversation he had overheard last night between Puca and Merrow. It was obvious that to him that Bodach was taken with the girl.

How his gaze lingered on her and the uncomfortable way he shifted in his seat.

“So I have some errands to run today.” Lola said, trying to change the subject away from beds and taking.

“You do?”

“I do, I don’t just stay home all day. I have work, well sort of.” Lola said, taking a bit of her eggs.

“Do you not have a man that provides for you?” Lu asked. He had seen no evidence of a man in her home, but that didn’t mean that there wasn’t one away.

“Ummm, no. It’s just me. So the errand I’m running is part of my job.” Lola said. Taking a sip of the dark coffee, grimacing at the bitter liquid. She was supposed to have gone to the grocery store this morning.

Other things had interrupted those plans.

Four other things, three of which were watching her as they ate their breakfast and one was snoozing on her living room floor.

“I can go with you,” Lu and Merrow said at the same time, then turned to glare at each other.

“I offered first, it should be me.” Merrow said, tilting his head to the side with a glare.

“I’ve made breakfast, you should stay and clean as thanks.” Lu countered.

“Bodach. I choose Bodach.” Lola blurted out, to stop the two men from fighting further.

“Why him?” Lu asked as he pressed his lips together. His tight curls bouncing as he swung his head around to glare at the other man.

“He’s not fighting while I’m drinking my coffee.” Lola said with a shrug as she finished off her coffee. Standing up, she took her plate into the kitchen before they could argue further.

“You heard her, she chose me.” Bodach smirked, his red eyes glimmering as they met Merrow’s gaze and then flickered over to Lu’s.

“Just because she hasn’t figured out you’re a jackeen.” Merrow said as he finished off his breakfast and moved to follow Lola.

Lola stood at the sink rinsing her plate off, Merrow moved to stand behind her. He studied the long line of her neck. Her hair was pulled up into a high ponytail, soft strands escaping to lay against her skin. Merrow couldn’t help but wonder how she would respond if he ran his lips across the smooth skin.

Pinning her body against the counter so he could take his time teasing and exploring her body.

“You just going to stand there or are you going to help?” Lola asked as she looked over her shoulder.

“You should tread carefully when dealing with Bodach.” Merrow said as he stepped closer and Lola turned the water off, turning to face him.

“You seem to always corner me in the kitchen.” Lola said looking up at him, and Merrow fought the urge to brush her hair from her eyes. “Why should I be careful around him and not you?” She asked biting her lower lip as he stepped even closer and Lola could feel the heat of his body through her clothing. Smell the soft scent of his skin, he smelled of the beach and burning driftwood.

Merrow’s fingers moved to brush a loose strand of hair away from her face, his fingers tracing over her high cheekbone. Lingering and savoring the warmth of her soft skin. “You should be around me as well.” He said leaning closer to her. His lips hovered over hers and Lola’s eyes widened as his lips started to inch closer to her.
