Hard To Say Goodbye

Chapter 51 Back To Her Hometown

Chapter 51 Back To Her Hometown

Murphy and Nora walked into the hall of the service area together. There were already many people

resting inside. With the hungry groan in her stomach, Nora was pulled directly into the fast food

restaurant of the service area by Murphy.

The service area on the highway was simple and convenient. Unlike high-end hotels, the food here was

only simple fast food boxes and cooked food.

They found a table and sat down. Each of them ordered a box of rice, two chicken drumsticks, some

fruits and two bottles of water.

Looking at Murphy, Nora thought, 'Can he eat the food here? He's a neat freak. It's really difficult for

him to eat in public.'

Perhaps it was because Murphy was hungry that he wolfed down the food. Seeing this, Nora only

wanted to laugh, but she still held back her laughter.

Noticing that Nora was looking at him, he asked with a smile, "Why don't you eat? Why are you looking

at me? Aren't you hungry if you look at me?" After saying that, he couldn't help laughing.

Nora looked at Murphy and said, "You are a neat freak. I'm afraid you won't be able to eat it."

Murphy said, "When in Rome, do as the Romans do. Besides, even if I am a neat freak, I have to eat

when I am hungry. I can't starve to death for the sake of cleanliness."

Hearing what he said, Nora almost spat out her food.

After having a simple meal, Nora and Murphy were about to go to the lounge and take a nap. They

would continue to set off after they recovered.

The two sat side by side on the chairs, feeling sleepy. Nora yawned one after another and kept

yawning. She was really too sleepy.

Murphy pointed at his shoulder and said, "Sleep here. I'll lend you my shoulder."

Every day, she felt tired, and the pressure from all aspects made her weak shoulders unable to bear.

She was so sleepy that she fell asleep on his shoulder. The scene was so familiar to Murphy, so was

the woman in front of him.

Every time he had such a familiar feeling, he just couldn't remember. When he tried hard to recall, his

head began to ache, so he had been controlling himself.

Nora's long hair was fragrant, and it happened to itch on his face, and there was a familiar smell on her

body. Murphy didn't allow himself to think about those things that he couldn't figure out.

The lounge in the service area gradually quieted down. People had already fallen asleep, and

occasionally there would be a snore. Murphy was sleepy after driving, so he closed his eyes and had a

rest.

In her sleep, she didn't know how long it has passed. She heard footsteps coming back and forth.

Some people has already begun to prepare and set off on their way.

Rubbing her hazy eyes, Nora looked at Murphy. In order to make her sleep well, he had never moved

in this posture. It was really difficult for him.

Feeling the movement, Murphy opened his eyes and found that one of his arms was numb and

unconscious. He shook his hand and felt very uncomfortable. Material © of NôvelDrama.Org.

"Don't move. I'll rub it for you," said Nora, looking at him. It was all her fault.

Her little hand gently massaged his arm. When she touched his arm, she still felt that his muscles were

still so strong, but he didn't remember these.

Now Murphy felt very happy. The woman he liked was giving him a massage. What a happy thing.

He wanted to keep this feeling, but he had to go on driving the woman he liked back to her hometown.

After resting for a while, Nora was not sleepy anymore. After Murphy asked his beloved woman to give

him a massage, he was in high spirits and drove faster.

With the company of Nora, he felt that time passed so fast that he was about to get off the expressway.

After half an hour of getting off the expressway, she could arrive at the home she has been missing day

and night. She could see her parents and grandmother. Thinking of this, Nora smiled happily.

The sun rose slowly from the east. It was dawn.

Nora's hometown was a three-tier city. There was no noise of a big city or so many shops here, but it

was clean and quiet.

Her house was in an ordinary community, a little shabby, but her grandmother has lived here for many

years and was reluctant to move out.

Dad and mom followed grandma's advice and lived in this community all the time.

Before Nora came back, she had called her mother, so in the early morning, her mother held her

grandmother's arm and waited at the gate of the community, while her father was preparing food at

home.

After turning several crossroads, Nora finally arrived at the community. In the car, she saw her mother

and grandmother from a distance. She pointed at the outside happily and said, "Here we are. That's my

mommy and grandma. They are waiting at the gate of the community."

Following the direction that Nora pointed, Murphy saw a kind old woman supported by an asecretaryble

middle-aged woman. She must be Nora's mother and grandmother.

"I'm not afraid of the traffic police here, because this is a three-tier city. You can park your car in your

own neighborhood casually," said Nora, letting him pull over by the roadside. Then she smiled

sheepishly.

There were many people doing morning exercises in the morning, and they has never seen such a

good car. They were discussing whose car it was. At this time, Murphy got out of the car with Nora.

When she saw her daughter come back, Nora's mother was so happy that tears fell down.

Grandmother touched her granddaughter's face and said, "Good girl, I miss you so much."

The person in the community said, "It turns out that the daughter of the Su Family has come back. She

is a promising woman. She drives such a good car, but I don't know what the car's name is."

Murphy looked at the people in the community and thought they were very hospitable. An elder man

asked, "Young man, what's the name of this car?"

"Uncle, this car is called Rolls-Royce," said Murphy.

The old man continued to ask, "How much did you buy it? It must be very expensive."

"It's not expensive. It's only about ten million," said Murphy with a smile.

Hearing the astronomical figure, the old man was frightened and stepped back a few steps. He thought

how many lives could he earn so much money. The daughter of the Su Family was really promising.

Taking a look at Murphy, Nora gave him a wink. He felt that if he had said something that he shouldn't

have said, he would shut up immediately.

"This is Murphy, my boss," said Nora to her mother.

When her mother saw Murphy, she was also very happy. She said to him, "Nora is so thoughtless.

Thank you for taking care of her outside. Thank you. Thank you very much."

"Aunt, you don't have to thank me. In fact, it's her who takes care of me," said Murphy in a hurry.

Her mother was confused and didn't understand what he meant. With a smile, Nora looked at her

mother and said, "Mom, I'll tell you what happened when we go home."

Nora held her grandmother's arm, Murphy walked behind her mother, went upstairs and went home

together.
