Chapter 5 Got on his love pirate ship
At the bar, I scanned the surroundings with my face covered.

However, unexpectedly, Roan didn’t show up, but Kevin did.
“Kevin? Why are you here?” I looked at him with my drink in hand, puzzled.
“Just chilling at home with nothing to do, so I decided to join the fun,” he said, taking a sip from my drink as he spoke.
I felt a bit uneasy, but considering his help over the past few days, I didn’t say anything.
“Waiter, two more shots of tequila.”
Silently, I placed his empty glass aside, deciding to treat him to drinks today as a thank you for his care. He seemed oblivious to it and continued to chat with me, smiling.
Setting aside the earlier incident, he was actually a nice person. Experienced at work, humorous in interpersonal relationships, and always willing to help.
We chatted happily, and before I knew it, I had ended up drinking too much again.
