Chapter 1524
If those two ever show up at school, it'd be absolute mayhem.
"I'm not planning on calling my parents," Fiona said, giving him a sideways glance.
Suddenly, she flashed a playful smile at Nash. "Why are you so interested in my business? Got any tricks up your sleeve this time?"
Nash was at a loss for words. Why did he even bother asking?
Predictably, as soon as the trio got to the classroom, someone called Fiona away. Nash discreetly sent a message to Jackson, only to be greeted by the dreaded red exclamation mark again. Should've known better than to stir the pot.
After mulling it over, he decided to give Jackson a call. No surprise, Jackson didn't pick up, so Nash sent a follow-up text. Within seconds, Jackson replied.
Jackson: Spill it.
Nash: Figures, you only take me off your blacklist when Fiona's involved.
Jackson: You've got three minutes. Two left.
Not daring to waste any more time, Nash quickly sent a voice message, a full sixty seconds long. A few moments later, he hesitantly asked, "Jackson, why the silence?"noveldrama
To his dismay, the red exclamation mark was back. In a fit of frustration, Nash nearly threw his phone.
In the nurse's office, Fiona stood with her hands in her pockets, leaning casually against the wall. She glanced up briefly before averting her gaze.
"Fiona, care to explain what's going on?" Mr. Keaton asked, looking visibly stressed as he rubbed his temples. "Did you really hit another student?"
Fiona didn't say a word, simply eyeing the three girls who clearly weren't innocent. They all raised their eyebrows at her with a defiant air. He patience was wearing thin, and her fists were itching for action. What was she supposed to do? Urgently seeking advice online.
"Mr. Keaton, we saw Fiona hit someone just because we mentioned some online gossip,"
Patricia accused, brimming with net
indignation. "We were only
discussing news during the break, minding our own business, and she attacked us! Imagine what she's like outside of school."
"Yeah, Mr. Keaton, you need to stand up for us. Fiona's been dragging the class
down, and now she's openly attacking people. What next?"
Mr. Keaton sighed, feeling the weight of the situation. If Fiona denied it, the truth would remain murky, likely igniting parental
outrage. He wondered how net
such
influential parents could have such a troublesome daughter-causing more mayhem than her mother ever did. A real headache.
"Mr. Keaton, we've already told her parents, and they'll be here soon," Patricia said smugly, casting a triumphant look at Fiona. "You won't get away with this. You can't just hit someone and expect no consequences."
Throughout it all, Fiona stayed silent, wearing an air of indifference.
"You say Fiona hit someone, but there must be a reason. Got any evidence?" Mr. Keaton asked, sitting down. He noticed a hint of fear in their eyes and pressed on, "And what was this news you were talking about?"
Being a bit older, Mr. Keaton wasn't up to speed with the latest online trends like the students were.
What do you think?
