Chapter 102:Encourage yourself
Gabrio came quickly.
When he arrived, Severo was just finishing the table, Allyce had the breath to look at the time: “I have to go to work or I’ll be late”.
“Not today.” Severo shook his head without turning, and Gabrio arrived just then.
As he finished the sentence, the doorbell rang.
Severo turned to open the door, Gabrio looked at him with a stony face and asked directly, “Where’s Allyce?
“Go in first.” Severo turned in Allyce’s direction and Gabrio followed, not forgetting to close the door.
The two men returned to the living room to find the sofa empty.
Allyce staggered out of the bathroom, white as a sheet and looking extremely distressed.
Severo approached her without saying a word, helped her and sat down on the sofa.
As soon as Allyce sat down on the sofa, her whole body collapsed as if she had no bones.
Seeing this, Gabrio put the first aid kit next to her and spoke with concern: “Allyce, get a hold of yourself.
As Gabrio spoke, he took a disposable syringe from the first aid kit.
Severo lifted Allyce up and let her lean on his arms.
Allyce was in a trance and looked in Gabrio’s direction, in a weak and surprised voice: “Gabrio, what are you doing here?”
At the sound of “Gabrio”, Severo’s face sank, but he knew this was not the time to make a big deal of it.
Allyce had injected drugs, few people knew about it, once the word got out, it would always be a handle if someone with good intentions took advantage of the situation.
Even if she was forced to do so, it was inevitable that someone with a heart would seriously hurt her.
Gabrio was initially approached for the same reason. Both Severo and Neto had contact with Gabrio and were confident that he would not leak the story.
“Well, I’ve come to see you.” Gabrio said as he reached into the medicine cabinet for something, his voice soft.
Allyce leaned back in Severo’s arms, she still felt a bit uncomfortable, she twisted her body, she felt nauseous now, she wanted to vomit, she felt dizzy …
Severo hugged her without speaking, his face heavy as water.
Allyce suddenly understood what was wrong, twisted her head to look at Severo, and her voice was weak: “Is it a reaction to the drug injection earlier?”
“It’s all right.” Severo said only these words, with calmness in his voice.
But Allyce did not calm down; instead, she felt increasingly irritated and the sensation in her body was getting harder and harder.
“Gabrio, didn’t you say that I, not …” would become addicted?Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!
Gabrio looked normal, pushed the syringe into his hand and walked towards Allyce.
Severo rolled up his sleeve and Gabrio finished injecting it before speaking, “Of course it’s not addictive, you’re just having some unavoidable reactions now, don’t worry, this week will be hard, it’ll be fine when it’s over”.
“What did you inject me with?” Allyce felt her body seem less uncomfortable, everything was calmer, and she asked hesitantly.
“A sedative.” Gabrio took the syringe out of his hand and asked, “Better?
“Yes.” Allyce nodded and slowly sat up, her face still pale.
Severo, who had not spoken much, intervened at that moment: “Sit down for a while, I’m going to accompany Dr. Ortis”.
Allyce was much better now, but still very uncomfortable, and she had no extra energy to say anything to him, so she smiled at Gabrio.
Gabrio raised his hand, ready to touch Allyce’s head, but was blocked by Severo, who suddenly stood in front of Allyce: “Dr. Ortis, I’ll show you out.
“Please disturb Mr. Betances”. Gabrio did not refuse, put aside the disposable syringe he had just used, picked up his first aid kit and got up to leave.
…
The two men walked to the front door before stopping.
“Since Dr. Ortis has come by car, then I won’t send him. Severo stood with his hands hanging, his face expressionless.
Gabrio looked back at him with a slight frown, “Allyce these days, she’s still very busy.
“My wife, naturally I’ll take care of it.” Severo’s eyes flickered slightly.
Gabrio seemed to have something to say, but opened his mouth, but did not speak again, he turned to leave, but heard Severo’s voice again: “You and she were neighbours as children, I wonder how much Dr. Ortis knows about her father”.
Gabrio returned her gaze with a different look than usual, showing a certain sharpness: “If you want to know about Allyce’s father, you should ask Allyce, not me.
“What Dr. Ortis said is that these kinds of questions, when you ask an outsider, effectively, you can’t ask anything.” Severo raised his eyebrows and a smile seemed to pass under his eyes.
The word “outsider” was emphasised.
Gabrio is also an intelligent person, how can he not understand the meaning of Severo.
But I had to tell him what I had to tell him: “Allyce can be a bit unusual in all respects these days”.
“Hmm.” Even if Gabrio didn’t say it, Severo knew it too, all these years at the mall, what few tricks he hasn’t seen.
Gabrio looked deeply at Severo, Severo stood still, there was no look on his face, only a soft reply, but it was not difficult to hear his solemnity.
I can see that he still has some genuine feelings for Allyce.
The first thing to do is to get into the car.
Severo watched as Gabrio’s car disappeared from view, and his face held back, and he reflected for a moment before turning to go inside.
It was only when he reached the entrance to the hall that he heard the miserable screams of the Beef.
“Allyce!”
Severo’s face tightened, he shouted Allyce’s name and headed for the dog room.
Allyce looked coldly at Beef, who had been kicked against the wall and dropped by her, and was about to go up and add another kick when Severo entered.
His eyes met Beef’s, who was lying on the ground, not daring to move, and he turned his head to Allyce: “Come here, let’s go out.
“Oh.” Allyce gave him a cold look and turned to him.
However, he walked halfway and suddenly rounded a corner, walked up to the carcass and kicked it hard.
Severo didn’t expect her to kick again, but he thought about what Gabrio said when she left, and he understood, and he made no noise to reprimand her, and he took her upstairs and told her to rest a little.
“Sleep.” Severo pinned Allyce to the bed and sat beside her to watch over her, so she would sleep.
“I don’t want to sleep.” Allyce rolled over and sat up, looking directly at Severo.
“Do as I say.” Severo knew she was a little better at the moment because she had just been injected with a sedative, and when the drug wore off afterwards, she wouldn’t be as comfortable, so it was best that she was asleep and comfortable.
