will still make a profit. You’ll earn 100 million dollars in less than 10 minutes! Don’t push it,
Don.”
Although the penalty sum pained Bernard’s heart, seeing his idol and working closely with her made up for it. That loss was no big deal!
Bernard was the one who had made outrageous demands, and it was also Bernard who had broken the contract. How fickle could he be?
“No one dares to breach a contract with Jefferson Group.” Dorian blocked Bernard’s attempt to leave. He towered over Bernard, looking down at him.
The pressure in the office plunged. The air became so thin that it was hard to breathe.
As Bernard met Dorian’s piercing gaze, his expression suddenly changed.
The next moment, Bernard, who was over 6 feet tall, leaned coquettishly against Dorian’s shoulder. His face was filled with feigned resentment as he clung to Dorian’s arm.
“Okay, okay, Don. I know I was wrong! I’ll pay the penalty, and on top of that, I’ll offer myself to you, alright?”
Those cloying words made Dorian’s face darken like the bottom of a pot. He stiffly pushed Bernard away.
“Baby!” Bernard batted his eyelashes at Dorian, his voice lilting. “I admit I was wrong! Can you forgive me just this once?”
“Ugh.” Dorian withdrew his hand and took several steps back, putting some distance.
between them.
“You can break the contract, but you must let me meet this Gigi Toby Fluff with you.”
What kind of person could make the great Bernard act so meekly just by hearing her voice?
Bernard glanced at him and reluctantly nodded. “Well… alright! But there are rules you have to follow. You must show respect to my idol, and you can’t speak rashly.”
“Okay.” Dorian nodded dismissively and picked up his car keys, heading out first. 2

In the grand lobby of the Murray Corp. Tower, a crowd of employees had gathered. All of the women were clad in black and white professional attire and high heels.
Glaring furiously, they formed a circle as if holding a condemnation rally.
A woman’s voice sounded from the center of the circle as she pleaded. “Ms. Brown, what did
I do wrong? Everyone likes Mr. Murray. Why are you firing me for that?
“You can ask them. Don’t they like Mr. Murray too?”
The female employees sucked in a breath of cold air and stepped back as if being accused of liking Bernard was an insult.
The manager, Ava Brown, sneered with her arms folded over her chest.
“Do you see now? Which one of them shows signs of having other thoughts about Mr. Murray? And which of you are trying to use your work relationships to have an office romance and get ahead?”
The dismissed female employee had tears streaking down her face. She looked shocked. She stammered, “H–How is that possible? How could they not like Mr. Murray?”
A female employee with a doll–like face and a devilish figure remarked disdainfully, “Why would anyone like that flashy peacock? The peacocks in the zoo are much better than him.”
Beside her, another female employee with delicate features also expressed her distaste. “You didn’t come to Murray Corp. for that man, but for the benefits, right? Social insurance, a triple salary bonus at the end of the year, three extra menstrual leave days per month, and a month’s salary bonus on holidays…”
She listed the benefits proudly. Her disdainful expression finally softened. “Aren’t these
better than a man?”
Suddenly, a cold laugh echoed through the quiet lobby. Everyone turned toward the source
of the sound.
As soon as Ava saw Bernard, she frowned. She turned to the dismissed employee and said, ” You better leave now. Don’t linger here. If you want to pursue Mr. Murray, go behind the building and try him there!”
Then, dozens of slender and beautiful employees turned around in unison without even sparing Bernard a glance. They began discussing among themselves.
“Our resident guest for ‘The Ideal Nursing Home‘ is the recently returned medical genius,
Dr. Sierra!”
“Wow, oh my god! Aren’t we very blessed? They say she stunned international doctors with her herbal medicine and acupuncture skills abroad. She’s truly the pride of our country!” Nôvel(D)rama.Org's content.
“Yes, but that Gigi Toby Fluff is so disgusting. To gain fame, she accused Dr. Sierra’s published medical paper of having errors. How could a genius make mistakes? She just wants to get attention!”

Bernard wanted to avoid paying attention to them. But the second he heard them Insult his idol, he imediately wanted to go up and argue with them.
However, he was pushed into the CEO’s private elevator by Dorian.
Before he could even respond, the elevator doors slowly closed. He was beyond frustrated that he hadn’t been able to speak up for his Idol.
As soon as the private elevator doors closed, Gisele walked into Murray Corp. Tower. She was dressed in a clean white dress with simple makeup and flat shoes.
“Hello, exxcuseme. Which floor should I go to to sign the contract for “The Ideal Nursing Home?”
“What’s the deal with Gigi Toby Fluff-“The receptionist had still been continuing the female employees‘ previous discussion when she suddenly heard Gisele’s voice.
She turned and looked at the delicate woman in front of her in shock.
Was she Gigi Toby Fluff?
Even though Gisele was wearing a mask, her fair, radiant skin and gentle eyes that sparkled revealed a kind demeanor. Her bearing was completely different from the rumors!
“Seventh floor, Conference Room 704,” the receptionist murmured.
“Okay, thank you.”
Gisele had heard their discussion earlier, but she didn’t care about others‘ opinions of her.
What she needed was to stay true to herself.
After taking the elevator to the seventh floor, Gisele knocked on the door of Conference Room 704 and entered. “Hello-”
Before she could continue, Gisele saw two men sitting in the conference room.
One of them was Dorian.
