Chapter 27 You Are Too Visionary
Chapter 27 You Are Too Visionary
Hearing the words, Wesley was a little bit upset. Harriet spotted his reaction and raised another topic
before he responded, "The contract has been signed, and can I leave now?"
Wesley frowned, and felt there was no need to warn her, "Okay."
After Harriet left, Wesley locked the brokerage contract in his safe.
It was late at night, and the huge floor-to-ceiling windows of the upper floors were translucent enough
to overlook the most prosperous night view of downtown California. Harriet's words still echoed in his
ears. His brow wrinkled slightly.
He had hesitated about the kidney replacement surgery. If it was not Louisa who needed the operation
urgently, Harriet would have a chance to keep the baby.
He felt that it had nothing to do with love, but Harriet's presence made him feel comfortable.
Louisa had become even more unreasonable over the past few years, even though he had been
thinking about the feelings of they growing up together since childhood, he was fed up with her.
Although Harriet was really not a gentle woman, and even played tricks in front of him, she would not
cross the line. She could give him a lot of comfort on both his feelings and body.
When Harriet came home, the lamp in the living room was still on. As soon as the door opened, Colin
woke up from the dining table. He stood up and asked sleepily when he saw Harriet, "Harriet, how is it
going on?"
"It's okay," Harriet changed her shoes and entered the house. "Why didn't you go to sleep, I told you
that you did not need to wait for me. If I don't come back for the whole night, do you plan to sleep here
until tomorrow?"
"Is it really okay?" Colin knew that the being a model was not easy. He raised his brows, "Is your
colleague bullying you? I will go and revenge for you."
"It's okay, what are you thinking about? How dare they can bully me? Don't worry about my affairs. You
need to review and prepare for the exam. As long as you enter the National University of Science and
Technology, I can wake up laughing in my dream. Leave alone the revenging. "
Colin was so tall that Harriet was struggling to touch his head. She patted him on the shoulder instead,
"It is better to go to bed right now. I will put you in a tutoring class in two days or so and you can have
the classes soon. "
"Be in classes?" Colin changed his face. "Harriet, are you sure you want me undergo the college
entrance examination?"
"Of course! You have to take the college entrance examination. You need to bless that I did not make
you study in the high school, but you need to choose a tutoring class or a tutor."
"Harriet, our family doesn't have the talent to study. Don't put me in dilemma, OK?"
"Who said so? Your sister was the top one in college entrance examination."
Hearing the words, Colin whispered while looking at his toes, "That's because you are an art student,
and your scores of the undergraduate course was not enough for the standard of the normal cultural
class score."
When Harriet was in junior high school, her mother thought Harriet was unable to study in a high school
for the poor performance, so she urged her to dance harder. It turned out that her decision was very
correct. She got extra scores in the high school enrollment and also entered the country's premier
California Film Academy because of her excellent dancing skills.
Her college entrance examination cultural class was just better than the average art students.
"What are you muttering about?"
"No, nothing," Colin coughed and said, "I will go to a tutoring class."
Harriet nodded in satisfaction, "Good bother."
She only had Colin as her family in this world and she only hoped that he would live peacefully by her
side. He would have a decent job and live the most ordinary and comfortable life in accordance with the
rules in the future.
Early the next morning, Harriet went to Pleasure Media at the command of Wesley.
Harriet stepped on the shiny floor with her twelve centimeters high-heels, sunglasses and red lips.
People eyed on her with shock. She just sat in the lobby lounge and asked for a cup of coffee, drinking
slowly.
There were gossips behind the reception.
"Isn't that Harriet? Isn't she fired by the company? Why does she come back now?"
"Yeah, and she is so high-profile."
"..."
After a while, Kate Warren hurried down the stairs with her assistant.
Kate Warren was the boss ranking second part in Pleasure Media. All actors must be reviewed by her.
She would appoint the agent for each actor.
Harriet was different. She signed Pleasure Media when she was still a college student two years ago.
The general manager called and told her to take care of her and the manager asked gold agent
Charlene as Harriet's agent. The company knew she was back by someone but they did not know who
he was.
At this moment, Kate was a little embarrassed. Harriet had been fired for a shot time but she could
return being so arrogant. Even though she did not know who was back her, but she should not be
underestimated for her could come back so soon. "You are so early, Harriet. Why didn't you come
upstairs?"
Harriet took a sip of coffee and looked out the window. "No need, it's breathable here. There's nothing
to talk about anyway. Just pick a script and I will leave."
"That's true," Kate glanced at her assistant who immediately noticed, quickly arranging a stack of
folders on the coffee table, "Miss Clark, here are the five scripts that I selected in advance that are
suitable for you. There are various types of graphic scripts and the director teams are good. You can
choose one you like."
After hearing this, Harriet's eyes fell back to the coffee table.
The five scripts are all movie scripts. Just seeing the names of writer on the cover, she knew that these
all were good scripts. Harriet checked them casually and then picked a city light comedy movie script,
"This one is fine."
According to Wesley's command, Kate definitely sent the best scripts for her. She didn't need to worry
about if she could get a good one.
Kate glanced, thoughtfully, "Okay, then if you still want to Charlene to be your agent?"
Harriet's eyes were grimed when Charlene was mentioned, speaking ironically, "No, I was just
graduated and I cannot be with such great agent."
Charlene was the underling of Wesley. She would not give a change to let herself being spied.
Kate heard the sarcasm in the words, silently sighed, and said with caution, "Then I will arrange a new
agent for you." Exclusive © material by Nô(/v)elDrama.Org.
Kate clicked on the tablet to open the company's agent list, which contained the artists they led and
their achievements during the period, such as getting a big-name jewelry endorsement and signing a
hot IP adaptation dramas and the like.
Harriet pointed to an internship agent whose resume was almost blank. "Just her."
"Her?" Kate looked stagnant. "Harriet, do you need to give it a second thought? This is a newcomer to
the company who is just graduating from university and who has no experience being an agent before."
There was a greeting from the distance. Harriet's former agent Charlene just entered the door, in a
smart professional attire, carrying a briefcase. She heard all the gossips at the reception and suddenly
stood still, gazing at Harriet.
Harriet glanced at the familiar figure, with her eyes suddenly darkened. She rose up her voice,
"Experienced agents would not put her efforts on me, and sometimes they are not as good as
newcomers."
After saying this, she turned her head gracefully and smiled, "Don't you think so, Charlene?"
There were whispering in the distance.
Who would have thought that Harriet would dare to bully Charlene!
The whole company would know that Harriet preferred a newcomer instead of the great agent,
Charlene. It would be a great humiliation for her ability in the industry.
Charlene's fingers clenched tightly in her purse, and her face was gray and blue.
The goal was achieved. Harriet stood up leisurely, pulled the sunglasses above her head to the bridge
of the nose. She said with her red lips, "Kate, I will leave if there is nothing more needed to discuss."
