Claimed By The Dangerous Alpha King: Betrayed Luna Novel by Gorgeous Aliyah

Chapter 41

I had prayed that the next time I would step into a car after that humiliating night with the alpha kings, it would be to take me out of this filthy pack and never to return.

I guessed that prayer might had just been answered but in the worst possible way that I could think of. These people were probably going to kill me. I wasn’t sure if it was I that wasn’t specific enough in my prayers or the moon Goddess just had a very creative way of making me suffer.

“By “not return” I didn’t mean die! Moon Goddess??!! Do something, anything” I clamoured desperately in my head, willing that they would just let me go. I was sandwiched in between two hefty men and I couldn’t even bring myself to look up not to talk of looking out the window and trying to figure out where they were taking me. Not that I assumed it would be anywhere fun considering how I was being transported.

I couldn’t even find the strength to scream, I was too distraught. My head felt like it was about to explode just trying to figure out the shit that was about to go down.

Getting kidnapped in a palace that was filled with guards was wild but the terrible security of Aston’s palace was the very least of my concerns at the moment. I was more concerned with why these two hefty men that I was squeezed in between were exchanging weird looks, having a hushed conversations that I could make nothing of no matter how hard I tried to and reaching for the bag in the passenger’s seat in the front but failing to grab it.

I watched as he stretched to pick up the bag, with the seatbelt holding his huge body down in place.

“Just grab the damn bag already!” the man driving the car yelled out in frustration and handed it to him. It was quite painfully embarrassing to watch a man his size try and fail to do something so trivial.

He took out a dark cloth from the bag and the realisation of what he was going to do with it hit me. I let out a shaky breath and shifted in my seat hysterically but there wasn’t much space to move around in. I didn’t know what to do as they held me in place.

“There’s really no need for you guys to do this, I swear we can talk this out. We could reach an agreement and it might be good for you gentlemen. I may not look like much now but I have connections.” I lied and was a little shocked how they let me go on rambling for so long. I had no connections, at least not anymore.

They all looked at each other and burst out laughing. “You’re so full of shit, shut the f***k up before I decide to shove foul things down your mouth.” The one driving said and I was suddenly grateful that he wasn’t seated next to me.

They wrapped the black cloth around my eyes, probably so I wouldn’t be able to make out where we were going. I wanted to tell them that there was no need because I already couldn’t see a thing sandwiched in between them but they didn’t ask for my opinion.

The world around me was a blur of motion, the darkness of the blindfold swallowing every hint of light as I was dragged along

My heart pounded violently in my chest, the smell of fear and uncertainty thick in the air and choking me With every move, my mind raced, every sound, every wind made me feel like my heart was about to rip out of my chest in panic. My head was hurting trying to make sense of the chaos around me without seeing it. I felt genuine empathy towards blind people in that very moment. I wondered how they navigated the world using just sounds. Life must be awfully tough not being able to see the hell that you’re about to pass through. M

Who knew able to see your problems was a blessing in itself?

When the blindfold was finally ripped off, my eyes struggled to adjust to the dim light, the shapes around me coming into focus with agonizing slowness.

As the world came into focus, a sickening realization dawned one; I was going to die for real. There was no getting out of this one for me. My luck had finally run out, not that I had a lot to begin with.

Still, I couldn’t believe what was happening. One moment, I was on my way to a picnic with Brax, and the next, I was blindfolded and at the mercy of three strange men. When they removed the blindfold and I could finally see, I saw that we were in a deserted warehouse. The maids sacered at me, and one of them even went as far as spitting in my face. It was disgusting but I was at their mercy, the only thing that I could do was be mad.

“You’ve been getting on our nerves for too long, Kira,” one of the sneered. “Mara has had enough of you.” They took turns saying and their words were almost laughable, if I wasn’t tied down and vulnerable.Property belongs to Nôvel(D)r/ama.Org.

It all felt too cliché, I guess I had given too much credit to Mara, she wasn’t very creative. Kidnapping me? Even the evil witch I lost Dax to was more creative with he wickedness.

I tried to struggle, but the men held me down. “What do you want from me?” I half yelled, annoyed to be here in the first place.

One of the men laughed. “You’ll find out soon enough.”

I was surrounded but all that escaped my lips was a strangled whimper.

“Hello there, Kira a familiar voice purred, the cruel amusement in her voice unmistakable. “Did you really think you could hide from me!”

I swallowed hard, recognition sinking like lead in my stomach. “Mara…” I whispered, my voice quaking with fear.

“Mara?” She laughed, the sound hollow and cruel. “Oh no, Kira. This isn’t Mara. This is justice. Justice for your insolence, for your impudence.” She smiled, her teeth a gleaming row of daggers in the fading light. “You’ve been getting on our nerves for far too long, and now it’s time for you to pay the price.”

My heart sank, my skin turning cold as her words sank in. This wasn’t just a prank, a game. She was serious. Deadly serious. Even if I had done nothing, my existence alone annoyed them and the lengths they would go through the make me suffer was impressive.

“I understand that I’ve not been the good little slave that you all want me to be but don’t you lots think its a little too much? What grave sin have I committed to get dragged out into the woods like this?” I practically sobbed and they burst out laughing.

“This b**h thinks she can tell us what to do. ***h we’ve had it up to our f***g throats with you and guess what? So has Mara! Mara has plans and you’re only going to get in the way of those plans and you know what happens when something gets in the way of her plans?” I wasn’t curious what but she was going to tell me anyway.

“We take them out! We’re going to take you out!” I wasn’t sure how to feel about her statement, considering the fact that the things they did already made me suicidal and after what happened last night with Aston, it would probably be the safer option.

They revealed that Mara had paid them to allow the guards have their way with me and then kill me. I was horrified and I was suddenly re thinking the way I felt about how they intended to take me out. I begged and pleaded, but they just laughed at me. They were about to strip me of my last shred of dignity.

After what felt like an eternity, they bundled me up again and left the warehouse. We drove for a white, and then they stopped in a deserted arena. It was a full moon, and the light cast eerie shadows on the ground.

The men dragged me out of the car and forced me down. They tied me up and left me there, saying they would be back soon. I was alone, helpless, and scared.

As I lay there, I silently prayed to the moon goddess, begging for protection and rescue. But as the minutes ticked by, I lost hope. The men returned, and I knew my fate was sealed.

They untied me and held me down, ignoring ny cries and pleas I was at their mercy, and I knew it. One of them started to undo my dress, and I struggled with all my might, but they were too strong.
