Chapter 10 (Part 3)
His eyes are filled with rage. It was bright red and perilous. It was as if a demon had been freed from him. His jaw tightened repeatedly as well.
When I saw his eyes, my tears flowed even more. His eyes were filled with rage. Uncontrollable anger was evident on his face.
He drove past me in his parked car. Then I was inserted into the backseat. He wiped my tears away.
“Stay right here,” he says. But before he could walk away, I grabbed him.
“N-No.”
He shook his head at me. “Fucking stay here!”
“Fucking stay here!” he said as he shook his head at me.NôvelDrama.Org copyrighted © content.
He immediately turned his back, but as he did so, I noticed him carrying a black object on his back. My eyes widened at what I saw. No. Maybe I’m just imagining things. But I felt deaf when I heard a gunshot. No.
When I got out of the car, I went straight to him. I was surprised he wasn’t the only one there. He is in the company of Samael and Nazarel. Azazel, on the other hand, had captured my attention. He had turned his back on me and had not yet noticed me. But my eyes widened when I saw him pointing a gun at the man standing there.
I also noticed the men’s fear on their faces. Their bruises and wounds were also visible on their faces.
The sight made me shudder. I took a quick step closer.
“A-Aza-z-zel…” He looked at me right away. His teeth clenched. His grip tightened even more as he held the gun.
“Get back in the car, Sera.” He said in a low voice.
I did not listen to him. “A-A-zazel, D-Don’t A-A-zazel…”
“I said go back in the fucking car! Don’t make me repeat what I said.” My tears flowed at his shout. He was furious. I really don’t want to stop him, but I have to.
“P-Ple-e-ase, d-don’t d-do t-t-this.”
His teeth gritted even tighter in response to what I said. He approached the man at whom he was aiming the gun. That’s the guy who nearly raped me. His face was bruised, and he could barely open his eyes.
Azazel brushed his long hair.
“Is this the one who fucking touched you?” I felt intense fear in his voice. He’s deadly. He’s all set to kill. That made me want to cry for more.
I was unable to respond to him. However, the man he was looking at was shaking his head at me.
“Boss, it’s not me! Boss, I didn’t do it, and I’m not.”
“Damn it, Seraphina! Answer my question!”
I quickly nodded at him. My eyes welled up with tears. But it seemed like a bad move to respond to him because he became even angrier with me.
I looked at Samael and Nazarel, but they were staring at Azazel blankly. It was as if they had no plans to stop it.
“I’m going to fucking kill you, fucking asshole!” he said, pointing the gun at the man again. When I looked at him, it was as if the world came to a halt. My heart was beating with such force that I could feel and hear it. I saw him gripped tightly on the gun. His hand’s veins had almost burst. He was on the verge of pulling the trigger. But I ran up to him and hugged him before he even drew it. He simply stopped what he was about to do.
“N-No, p-please. D-Don’t-t d-do this. Don’t…”
I could feel him stop. A moment later, I felt his arm touch me. I overheard Samael speaking. He slowly lowered his hand holding the gun.
“We’ll take care of this, Azazel. Calm her down first,” he says sternly. There was no sign of joking.
I looked at him, and our eyes locked.
“Aza-z-z-zel,” he hugged me again tightly before pulling away to carry me. He carried me around like a child. My legs are tangled on his waist. He simply lifted me into his car. And I just held on to him.
He sat in the backseat with me on his lap. I was crying while straddling him. He was still hugging me tightly.
“Sera, Sera, hush…”
My tears had dripped down his neck. But he just stood there and let me. He kissed both of my cheeks before turning to face her. He wiped away my tears with his thumbs. Unlike before, he looks more gentle now while looking at me. It was the first time he had looked at me in that way.
“Don’t cry any longer, I’m here. No one will hurt you, okay? Hush now, mi amore. Hold on, my love.”
He kissed my brow and hugged me once more. I hugged him back, and I stopped crying at that moment.
My heart is still racing and I’m still trembling, but I know I’m safe in his arms.
