Alpha's Second Chance

ROSE

After waking up in the morning, we showered and went downstairs to the kitchen. Only Mom was there, along with Anna and Kate, preparing something.

"Good morning, love birds,” Mom says, and the two others laugh.

"Good morning." We both say, and she smiles.

"Enzo, Logan told me to tell you he wants you to come to his office," Mom says.

"Okay, where is his office? I will go there right away." He answered, and his mom told him how to find it and asked me to stay here in the kitchen.

Enzo kisses me and leaves the kitchen, and I sit down, wondering why Dad wants to talk with Enzo alone.

I walked down the hall that Olivia told me to go down and stop at the door she said was Logan's office. I knocked on the door, and he tell me to come inside, and

I found him sitting by the desk.

"Ah, Enzo. Good morning." He says smiling.

"Good morning. I say carefully bowing my head in respect.

"I got two, scratch that, three things I want to talk with you about." He says as he looks at me and stands up. And I wait for him to speak again.

"First, stop treating Liv and me as the king and queen. You don't have to be so formal with us, only in formal situations where it might be required." He says, sitting on the desk.

"I will do my best to do that. But have nor really had a family for a long time." I tell him. And he mods his head.

"I know, but you are roses, mate. Your mark states that. That makes you family. And your dad was a great man. It's a big honor to get you into our family," he says and gives my shoulder a friendly smack.

"I am the lucky one," I say and smile.

"Secondly, as you have chosen to live here, I need you to formally become a packmember so you won't get into trouble. I hope that is not a problem. I already talked to Alpha Leonardo, and he says you have his blessing." He tells me and I smile.

"I had expected this, and I am more than happy to do that. This is where I live now, and this is where my life will be." I tell him, and he smiles.

He walks to a cabinet, takes a glass and a knife, cuts his hand, and lets a few drops of blood fall into the glass. He then takes what looks like soda or flavored water into the glass, too, not a lot but a little bit.

"My blood is different than others, more powerful. So I mix it a little soda into it.” He warns me.

"Okay, thank you for the warning," I tell him, and he smiles.

"I, Alpha King Logan of the Royal Blood Moon Pack, invite you, Enzo, to becomenoveldrama

a member of my pack. Do you accept to live by our law and rules?" He asks me.

"Yes, I accept," I say.

"Drink." He says and hands me the glass.

I drink it all, and one second later, I know why he warned me. A huge surge of power flows through me, and I sink down on my knees, but then it's gone, and I feel fine. But i

also feel the change and I now know I

that I belong to this pack, and now it is my home.

"Thank you, Logan. You and your family have welcomed me in ways I did not expect. I hope that you will believe me when I say that I will always be there for Rose and also this family." I tell him, looking into his eyes.

"I believe you. Thank you for everything you have done so far." He says, and I nod my head.

"thirdly, we need to test you, and I would like to do it today, but if you want to wait." He starts, but I interrupt him.

"No, let us do it today. I'm ready," I say without hesitation.

"Perfect, we do it today then. For now, let us join the family in the kitchen." Logan says and we leave the office.

ROSE

After a while, Dad and Enzo get back to the kitchen. They both smile and look to

be in a good mood, which makes me relax.

"Enzo is now a full packmember," Dad tells us, and I get excited.

"Really, that is awesome," I say and hug him and kiss him.

"Your dad will test me today." He says, and I hear dad chuckle behind me, and I smile.

"I want to watch." I giggle, and Enzo chuckles.

"You just want to see your dad beat me." He teases, and I can't help but laugh at him.

"Well, I guess you're right. But maybe you surprise us." I say and kiss him.

For the next hour, we all eat and talk, but after we are done, we go to our room and change into something more fit for training. I take him to the training field, where Dad and Noah, along with Uncle Matt, Kyle, and Luca, are waiting for us.

Dad turns to all the young warriors on the field and tells them to stop what they are doing. Then he tells them about Enzo. Some of the she-wolves stare at him, but no one dares to say anything, but Kaila is in my mind saying some very bad words, like poking their eyes out.

Dad turns to Enzo and nods his head, and they both go out on the field, getting

into position. Kyle joins them, looks at them, and when they are ready, Kyle

signals and says.

"Begin."
