Alpha’s Predestined Bride

EPISODE 47 The wedding party

MOON STONE PACK

Today was Meagan’s first time of witnessing werewolves wedding. Everything they did was in order and a slightly different from the human ways.

Meagan became bleary as she watched the couple exchanging vows and then the kiss. Her best friend of over a decade was now married.

Carl offered her a handkerchief to wipe her tears and he locked their hands together. She tried to pull away but he held in with a grin on his face.

Meagan looked back and noticed that Jones was holding Alice the same way. So no one would read any meaning to them holding hands. Although she had strange feelings while she walked down the aisle, arms locked with the man she had spent some passionate night and day with. She felt the vibration between them as their fingers intertwined and she couldn’t help but wonder if the alpha felt the same way too.

Beta Julius and Hazel had bright smiles on their faces as they turned to face the guests as husband and wife. They were happy and excited by the choice they made to be mates.

The clapping ended shortly and the guests sat down to listen to the couple’s speech. One of the junior epsilon’s gave Julius a microphone.Ccontent © exclusive by Nô/vel(D)ra/ma.Org.

“Are you alright now?” Carl whispered to Meagan.

She sniffed. “Yes, I am fine.”

“You can return it later.” Carl said referring to the handkerchief in her hand.

Actually he was hoping to see her again today or tomorrow or anytime before she leaves the pack. Meagan wasn’t sure if she wants to have another moment with the alpha again after the wedding. She hummed a response and they focus on Julius whose hands was now locked with his mate’s.

Beta Julius cleared his throat after a look at his mate and he said. “I am speechless at the amount of people who has turned up for my wedding.” Shouts filled the air again.

Julius chuckled. “The moon goddess has done a great job at giving me the best female wolf in the world, the one who understand my being and has managed to tame me.”

Hazel shook her head as she raised their locked hands up. “I think it’s the other way around. He has tamed my wolf nature.” She said.

Everyone in the hall laughed. “I guess it is even.” Epsilon Micheal said.

The couple nodded in agreement. “I want to say thank you to the alpha of moon stone pack, Carl Damien. And also he happens to be my best friend and soul brother.” Julius locked eyes with the alpha with a grateful look on his face.

Everyone stood up and clapped to respect the alpha. Carl threw a salute and mouthed. “I have got you covered anytime, brother.”

“I have never dreamt of having a big wedding my whole life. Thank you for your support. And I promise to remain loyal to you and I will serve the pack for the rest of my life.” Julius expressed his gratitude to his mother, father, guests, bridesmaids and groomsmen who has turned up to support them. And he passed the microphone to his mate.

“Good afternoon everyone. My mate and I would like to thank you all for being here for us today to make our day extra special. I’d especially like to thank my best friend, Meagan for her consistent support, love and generosity. We have come a long way together and I hope we see each other grow grey hairs.” The guests clapped as Meagan smiled and waved at her best friend. And she thanked her uncle, groom’s parents, his sister and everyone who showed support to them.

Hazel paid her respect to the late alpha of moon stone pack because he had adopted her after the death of her parents and he gave her a good life.

The head of the epsilon group stated some essence of being surrounded by good friends before he announced the venue of the reception party. It was the same hall used for the Halloween party. The couple walked down and exchanged hugs with their best friends before the bridesmaids and groomsmen resumed to their cues. Each of them made a unison turn and locked arms with their partners and they matched the newlyweds couple to the door with perfect matching steps to the music.

They took pictures with the couples and after some time, it was time for the bride to throw her bouquet into the air.

They debated if the groomsmen should join the tradition and the couple concluded that everyone should participate.

Julius helped Hazel walk down the few steps. She turned around to look at her best friend who wasn’t interested in catching the bouquet.

“Are you all ready?!” Hazel turned again with her back against them.

When they chorused a yes, she threw the bouquet of rose silk flowers behind her. The bridesmaid collided with each other to catch but it landed somewhere else. They all turned around to see who caught it – the alpha had the bouquet raised up in the air.

Everyone screamed when he waved the bouquet.

“We’ll have a Luna soon!” Brianna giggled.

Hazel turned slightly to look and she smiled at her mate. Julius winked at her, satisfied that it was one of their best friends who had caught the bouquet. Some of the guests trotted out of the hall ready to go to the reception. Some buses were provided to drive people to the location.

Meagan hurried to help Hazel with her gown while Carl searched for the car keys in his pocket. He was going to drive the couple to the reception together with the chief’s bridesmaid.

Meagan didn’t let the long white train drag the ground even as Hazel ran to the car. It was decorated with ribbons and a plate number of newly wedded in front of the car. She helped Hazel balanced the gown in the back seat before she settled in the front seat with Carl while Julius sat with his bride.

“I am glad that at least one of you caught my bouquet. It’s a good luck charm like they always say.” Hazel said.

Carl gave the bouquet to Meagan but she hesitated on accepting it. She doesn’t even want to think about what it means for him to give her the bouquet that he caught for himself. Both Julius and Hazel exchanged glances.

“Come on take it Meagan and let us move on. I need to change my dress before the reception party starts.” Hazel grumbled.

Meagan took the bouquet and looked away quickly to hide the blush that Carl had seen.

“You must keep this bouquet at your apartment safely.” Julius said in a stern tone.

“Alright bro. I should also try to preserve it for the future.” Carl chuckled and the couple laughed.

Meagan tried to fan her heated cheeks with her hand but it wasn’t working. Carl started the car and zoomed off to the pack ballroom.
