Hayley's POV:

Freya clearly didn't want to get dragged into more drama.

She hinted at Celine. "Drop it. If this gets any messier, we'll have a hard time dealing with it later.

Celine scoffed and shot back, "You want me to back off? She's the one causing all this!

"If she had just walked away, none of this would've happened. But now, she picks a fight and expects to walk out like nothing happened? Not happening!

“There's no big-shot werewolf protecting her this time. I'm gonna put this low- rank Omega in her place and show her what it means to respect someone above her!"

Freya looked annoyed. She'd gone head-to-head with me before, so she knew I wasn't a helpless Omega. At least she wasn't dumb.

Celine, on the other hand, clearly didn't get it. She thought I was someone she could just boss around.

Noticing Freya's sullen expression, I warned her meaningfully, "Some people don't get away with their actions forever. Sooner or later, they pay for what they've done."

That line was aimed at Freya.

But Celine, being clueless as usual, thought I was referring to her. Her eyes flared red as she snapped, "Who are you implying? You think you can get back at me?!"

Scarlett, done with her call, stepped beside me and gave Celine a disdainful look. "Oh wow, someone's actually begging to be insulted now?"

Then, she gave me a sly smirk, waved her phone, and raised her brows. "It's done."

Right away, I knew my godfather must've already taken care of everything.

Scarlett slipped her phone into her jeans pocket, crossed her arms, and looked straight at Celine. "Still think you've got the upper hand? Try me. Just don't cry about the outcome."

"You bitch!"

Celine snapped, ready to shift into her wolf form and launch herself at us.

Just then, a whole squad of uniformed, high-ranking werewolf security guards stormed in with the manager leading the way.

Around 20 people blocked the exit completely.

The security guard who had bailed earlier rushed back in, hurried over to the manager, and pointed at me. "Mr. Andersen, she's the one who started it!"

"Mhm," the manager responded calmly.

He looked down at the guard was still keeping on the ground, then glanced at me. Finally, he turned his attention to Celine's group. His tone stayed as he asked, "Excuse me, which one of you is Ms. Estrada?"

"Ms. Estrada? There's only a Ms. Sander here! She's Freya, the eldest daughter of the Sanders! Celine shouted arrogantly.

The manager smiled politely, as if he understood perfectly, then turned to me with total respect. In that case, you must be Ms. Estrada?"

Since he didn't look like he was picking a fight, I stepped back, removed my foot from the guard on the ground, and pointed at Scarlett. "Not me. She's the one."

He nodded in understanding.

The guard who ran off earlier helped his buddy to his feet, then started whining, "Mr. Andersen, Kyler is badly hurt. You can't just let her get away with it!"

The manager's friendly expression dropped, and his tone turned cold. "Don't worry. I'll handle it."

A second later, he snapped, "Both of you-don't bother showing up tomorrow. You're fired for good!"

"What? Are you insane?" Celine stared at him in disbelief. "Instead of kicking out those two troublemakers, you're firing your staff for defending VIPS?"

"Exactly! That's so unfair!" the guards shouted in protest.

“Unfair?” The manager gave Scarlett a respectful glance, then barked, "You're fired because you disrespected the owner of the mall!"
