Lily has never asked to meet me, when she knows I have something planned. So, for her to text me to meet her is enough reason for me to oblige.

Our convoy pulls over at the location Lily provided and she is already waiting for us. She is pacing the ground next to her vehicle and the murderous look in her eyes doesn't predict much good.

As we approach her, she points at the laptop on the hood of her vehicle and once we are all positioned around it, Levi presses a button to start the recording. I doubt I have to tell you how we all responded to the footage, it was a shitshow and I am glad we still have some time to put on clothes that are still in one piece.noveldrama

"Where is she?" Dominic asks and we all sigh in relief, when she informs us that the young female is on her way to Blood Crescent Pack. "Maleah, I want him taken care of this weekend. He doesn't get to breath a second longer than is necessary."

I know that Dominic is right, but I want the world to know what he has been doing. "Lily, get Harvey to meet you close to the Palace. I want the footage of his Daughter and his Mate to be shown to the entire world, not just to the ones present at the Spring Ball." I instruct her and I know they will do what I have asked of them.

After making a quick call, we continue our trip to the Palace and about ten

minutes before we arrive at our destination, we make a quick stop. I take the small bag from one of my team members and as I prepare everything, we drive the last stretch of road to the Palace.

A Guard points us to the entrance of the Palace and when we arrive there a Warrior takes the keys to our SUV, to park it with the vehicles of the rest of the guests.

Delaney and I are surrounded by our Mates as we walk up the steps to the double doors of the Palace and after a Warrior has checked the list an Omega escorts us to our suites.

She points out that there is a connecting door, that can be locked from both sides. I doubt we will lock that door, it will make it easier to jump into action if anyone tries something with our Alphas and Luna.

I places the clothing bags that hold our outfits for tomorrow night in the walk-in closet and pull out the dresses that we will be wearing tonight. A soft pink, tight fitting dress for Delaney and a burgundy, tight fitting dress for myself.

Delaney and I both wear our hair up, showcasing the marks on our necks. We want everyone to know that we are taken and our marks make it very clear who our Mates are. Even though Fortune is holding on the a tiny bit of hope that someone screws up anyway and gives her a reason to finally put some of those females in their place.

I am not really surprised to see that only a handful of females are present during dinner or after dinner, when we all have a change to walk around and mingle.

"Most females stay in their room until tomorrow, tonight they will discuss the attending High-ranks with their Mother, their Sister or another female. Trying to find a male that might be persuaded to take a chosen Mate, if given the right incentive.

Tomorrow they will observe each other, to see where everyone's interest lays and tomorrow night they will go in for the kill." I tell Delaney and she gives me a rather disgusted look.

The Queen is sitting in her usual spot and Elder Carlyle is sitting right beside her, whispering to her from time to time. I guess they are planning on how to get the rumors started that the Queen's Daughter will soon take over the Throne.

Rumors about her Daughter have been flying around for over a decade now, everyone has tried to find out who the Queen's Mate is and what her Daughter looks like. Tomorrow they will find out that we don't have a Queen and that Elder Carlyle has been in control all this time.

"Alpha Kenyon, it is nice to see you again." I hear Dillon say, but my eyes are on my Grandfather.

I haven't had the chance or taken the time to contact him and I guess now is as good of a time to get this over with. I am not sure what my Mother told him and I don't want to cause a scene at the Palace, not during a weekend as important as this one.

"Grandfather, I didn't expect to see you here. I thought you would be looking after your Daughter." I see him flinch as I refer to my Mother as just his Daughter. "I don't mind to get to know you better, but I am not sure if this is the right environment for that.

I doubt she told you the whole truth and I am not sure I want to hear what she did tell you or that you want to hear my side of the story." I say, looking into his eyes.

"Cara told us the truth, she even told us to confirm it with you and your Father. Diego has already confirmed that Cara told us the truth and even though I am angry at her for what she put you through, I hope that one day you will allow her to tell you

why." Grandfather says.

"I can't make any promises on that, but I would like to get to know you and my

Great Grandfather." I say and he nods his head in understanding.

We all meet up after dinner and Grandfather tells me a little about his career, this isn't the best place to talk about that kind of thing. A lot of the other High-ranking guests Keep looking at us, as they walk passed us and I know they are checking to see if there are any males available for their Daughters.

Their eyes widen, every time they see that I have three different marks and I know

the rumors will start spreading soon. They might even overshadow the rumors

about the Queen's Daughter, something Elder Carlyle will not appreciate.

"I think you will be the center of rumors this weekend, Dear." Grandfather states

and I can hear my Mates growl through our mind-link.

"Most Pups don't get taught that

there are males and females in our

world that need more than one

Mate, but sometimes a twin or triplet

aren't suited as Mates. Sometimes

siblings or friends are a better choice. I doubt anyone would understand why in some cases this is necessary, but I am not going to explain it to anyone." I reply.

I know that my response was loud enough for almost everyone to hear and I hope

it is enough to keep the attention away from me for the time being.

I see huge grins on the faces of my friends, my family and my Mates, "You have

put a few in their place without attacking them directly. Very diplomatic." Alpha Kenyon says, just before he starts laughing.
